One of the best venues in Denver for an intimate show. Ive seen some spectacular events here. The owners are always doing wonderful things to keep this historic landmark alive. I love the marquee and the new beautiful murals. The staff are always friendly and inviting. Keep doing what youre doing! I will be back.

Such a fantastic show! So happy they brought the Oriental back as a venue! Started going there for movies way back when... its where I saw Ferris buellers day off, and the last time I was there I saw Rocky 4. But to see Peter Murphy and David J doing Bauhaus songs together live was a great experience. The crowd was mellow and very relaxed but as the night progressed so did the fun and lively collective mood of the crowd. Everyone was honestly putting out great vibes and the attitude seemed contagious, happy and spirited but never obnoxious. The band was fantastic and my genuine admiration to them all. I can only imagine the altitude and being up there performing... just being on my feet watching them perform like 1981 made me feel exhausted. No way would I be able to put out the level of energy they kept and during certain songs even passed. The Oriental is not the Pepsi center and I am so thankful it is not. The close quarters felt intimate and almost like a private show for me and a few friends... something you lose at other bigger places! Look forward to the next artist I will see there!!!

Decent place that always has the most unique shows in it. I love that it has an old school feel. They have 1 bar downstairs and 1 bar upstairs. When I last went they had 3 bartenders working the downstairs which made the line go by pretty quickly. Parking isnt the best around it, mostly street parking.

The Oriental Theater is a great venue for music and entertainment. Each year they have a diverse lineup of shows at fair prices. Get a great view from every seat! Their bar is well stocked and employees provide great service. Parking can sometimes be challenging, but you’ll always find a spot. Most recently we saw Lucha Libre & Laughs - good entertainment!

Nice little venue nestled a few minutes out from downtown Denver. Good acoustics and has a nice tiered arrangement – you can be in the middle of the pit, hang back a bit about 15 feet from the stage, or sit down in the balcony while always enjoying a good view of the action on stage. Bathrooms are a bit awkward to get in and out of due to their location, but an excellent venue otherwise!

My absolute favorite venue after the Summit fell off the wagon for metal shows. This place is nice, has fair prices for drinks (as far as venues are concerned) and the sound and atmosphere are top notch. Love this place and it is my favorite venue in Denver. If there is a show here of any kind, you wont be disappointed.

I love shows here because the elevated platforms make it so you can see the band great, even if you are farther back. It is a very small venue so you are always close to the band, even when in the balcony. Parking can be a bit tricky in the neighborhood though, but I can often find some on 44th, the West of Tennyson

The amazing thing about this venue are the events that occur here. The space is ok, could have more bathrooms, food, etc. Probably deserves a 3 star rating, but its openness to all types of event causes me to increase its rating to 4 stars. We love their support of all types of events you cant find elsewhere!

This is a great venue for live performance. Music, comedy or even aerial performances. Specifically trapeze which is what I saw and it was incredible. Its hard to go wrong with the different types of performances they offer. Plus, there are places close by to grab a drink or small plate before your show.

Saw a show here recently the venue is small and a bit older which is pretty cool. The bar is small but they do a good job keeping lines down. If you use the box office I would suggest calling in advance because I tried to go twice and the open sign was lit up however there was a closed sign on the door and no one was there. I figured probably on lunch but the website says the box office is always open during events and I came by again later that night and it was still closed. Bring cash to the box office or pay online for the same amount of money as a credit card.

Great venue for live music! Theres plenty of street parking in the area around the theater. Although the theater is not huge, there is plenty of room for standing (or dancing / moshing up front), as well as a balcony with lots of standing room and a few seats on the sides. Acoustics are good, too.

I was pleasantly surprised. Medium sized venue with fun vintage feel. The sound and lighting are great. Bar is good, prices are competitive. Parking is on the street, best to get there early. My ten-year-old daughter and her aunt attended to show here last night, it was her first rock show. Not only the band themselves but the security for the venue treated her so safely and respectfully I was floored. she is my only daughter so as a mom I was very nervous about letting her go see a rock band but the Oriental theater and their team of security made it such a special night for her I would let her attend any show at the venue again. I want to say thank you to everybody who was working last night and everybody who kept my daughter safe. You guys rock.

This venue has by far the worst sound out of any concert hall in all of Denver. Ive now seen two shows there and pray that none of my favorite bands stop here on tour. All you can hear is bass and drums. Maybe get some sound engineers in there to help with structural issues effecting sound or just have people double check the sound guys mix, but something is way off here. However, Ill still give it 2 stars because, the venue would be a great place to see shows if they just get the mix a bit better. I like the option for upper/lower levels and staff has been overall good from what I have seen.

This theater was beautiful and intimate, the only reason why I am not giving it 5 stars is first it had zero coat check and for Colorados ever changing weather you really need a place for people to check there stuff, and second as with most places the womens bathrooms were completely inadequate only 2 stalls and one sink. I know the building is old and there isnt anyway to change the layout but when you have sold out shows converting the men bathroom into a ladies and getting portable bathroom for the men seems the obvious choice. Overall great experience and I will be back!

This venue is too cool. We flew in from Nashville to see As I Lay Dying play a show and was not disappointed.
