I like the Mizel Museum. It is a museum dedicated to Jewish art. I enjoyed their permanent exhibits. I liked the exhibit called Abide which is a photography exhibit on survivors of the Holocaust. It is a small museum and does not change exhibits that often. It is still worth a trip to.
I was not able to enter because they were closed. From what I can see on the outside they were interesting hustory. Maybe next time I can get in when I return to Colorado.
The Mizel Museum is small in size but big in impact. The displays are beautifully arranged with good explanation of what you are seeing. There is a general area and an area of the history of Jews in Colorado and a room with the news relating to WWII. In March there will be a display of pictures of Holocaust survivors. Informative, interesting and beautifully done.
I Loved it here, holocost and love the way they got you to think, asking 2 things you would take without returning to your home.
The best place! clean facility and helpful staff!
Mizel Museum hosted a community screening of the Holocaust survivor documentary Big Sonia. I am so grateful to this organization for holding space for such important topics, especially in a time where suffering and genocide still play a huge role in the world. Im excited to get more involved with he museums programs! Their mission truly hits home for me.
