One of my favorite venues in Denver. The Moon room is great for smaller shows and the full summit is great for some of the bigger shows. The balcony is nice if you dont want to be in the pushy crowds, however I was somewhat sad to see that the balcony is reservation only. The merchandise areas dont get in the way and its a nice place to meet band members.
Ive been here for a few live shows and its a great intimate venue to enjoy your favorite music and bands. Its also just a great event venue overall: Ive been there for corporate events and presentations when there are chairs and tables throughout, and Ive been there for dancing/moshing by the crowd. They also have a full bar and adequate restroom facilities, plus a balcony if you want to get up and out of the throng.
My husband and I went to go see Covet. Let me say this- this was our first time at this concert hall and we will definitely be back. It was SO organized and on time! I can’t remember the last time I’ve been to a concert and the doors opened on time, the staff was efficient at giving directions, the line was quick, security was professional, the bar staff was phenomenal, the list goes on. We had a great time- thank you, Summit staff!
Fun venue and very warm and hospitable staff. The Summit clearly sources good folks for its team and coaches them on making sure concert goers enjoy the show. I would definitely go see a show here again!
Nice intimate setting. They sell pizza by the slice and they are huge slices! Lots of drinks offered but are priced as expected from a concert venue. I would recommend getting a seat in the VIP balcony or else you will be standing for 4+ hours.
Although Im moving soon out of Denver, Im remembering my favorite places and I really enjoyed all of the shows I saw at Summit in Denver. World Class spot and well worth going to and grabbing beers at tap 14 or falling rock before!
This is an awesome venue. The size is great not too big and not too small. Youve got a pretty good view from anywhere, but the space is large enough that you dont feel pressed for space. The locations of the bars is convenient for grabbing drinks. Finally, the venues location from both public transit and public (pay) parking is really great. Theres a fairly large lot just around the corner at 19th and Market St. that averages around $10-15 for parking.
I really enjoy the Summit music Hall. I remember when it was a nightclub but I think it serves as a live music venue even better. Good sound inside, good space to move around in, and a large bar. The only downside is parking...there really isnt any thats not metered or in a lot thats outrageously overpriced. Thats any downtown district for ya.
Really cool spot! Took my 7 year old boy here last week for a Lupe Fiasco show and tickets were only $30! So cool a lil shot like this can bring in a headliner like that!Really liked the fact that I could bring my boy and felt safe. Were ate lots of pizza and drank soda, which had a lid! Was perfect!Only downside was to go upstairs they charged $50 extra per person.. so to keep him out of the weed smoke were had to pay extra.Really was a good time though and will definitely be back.
The bathroom is very nice. The setup seems odd--almost as if the stage is a temporary part of the room. The floor is flat, so if youre short you should try to be at the front of the crowd.
Great staff, location, and atmosphere. Whether attending an event or working with them to put on one, this place is incredible!
This was my first time at this venue. I have to say I was impressed and would go again for sure. The people were nice, it was clean, loved the fact you could upgrade to the balcony for seats. The one thing I had an issue with was it was FREEZING outside and I did VIP which had early entry but the way (From what I was told) live nation set it up you had to do the meet and greet and then go back outside. Stood outside for over an hour and it was way to cold for that. I think the venue would benefit from having some type of wind barrier outside or tunnel to stand in because it is CO and cold.
Small but Awesome, I would say the Music Hall is half the size of the Fillmore Auditorium. The band is right in your face, so needless to say Im deaf right now. Cradle of Filth destroyed the place with Pure Death Metal! Parking is abundant and drink/food prices didnt break Me. My food was Beer that night..... $6-9 bucks for a large brew. I would definitely recommend this venue.
This place is the bomb. I just watched truckfighters in the moon room. Cozy, comfortable, and just cool. They have a pizza place for some great before music grub, wide selection of drinks and seating to enjoy it at. I was very impressed with the sound. No matter where we were in the venue, we could hear crystal clear, and it was balanced perfectly. The venue is small, which is perfect for a personal and exciting experience. Would recommend to anyone, I feel like I could watch any band here and love it.
I love the Summit! I have seen so many amazing shows here! Keep them coming and so will I!!
Cool venue! It’s definitely different than most because of the way it’s laid out but it’s a fun place for smaller shows. Sound and lighting was decent as well!
The Summit has both perks and drawbacks. The door and bar staff are lovely, friendly folks. Theres ample parking nearby, and if youre coming to downtown from the interstate, the venue is easy to locate and to get to and from I25. Sound is always okay, and its almost entirely standing room only.At last nights show, I was appalled that the venue was offering a paid skip the line service ($13 a head!!) and the balcony area was an additional charge, as well. Come on.
Great facility, awesome security, pizza inside was tasty too! Heres pics from the Ice Nine Kills show 11/5/19
For places to see a live show this is one of the best! Extra bonus they serve pizza by the slice to go with my milk stout. Get there early you could get a chair.
Used to be better. The only good thing is that they moved the stairways out of the middle of the floor but now they charge you to go upstairs.
Oh wow! This venue is great! The sound is amazing in there. The bar has a lot of options, (in my opinion). The staff was really helpful and kind. They had an outdoor smoke spot. In the outdoor smoking area, I dont think they allow drinks. I would definitely go here again!
Great venue! Ok drink prices, rude staff ......expected. overall great shows!
Overall a great place to see shows. I have seen many shows here over the years and have never had a bad experience here.
A decent little venue. I saw The Head & The Heart here for my first visit tonight. I arrived early & got a seat off to the side of center stage. The acoustics were just okay. I wish the sound had been better, but the bar service was good & they have a coat check for $5 cash.
Great venue! Good layout, balcony, catering, beverage selection, sound and lighting. Overall its a great place to spend some time enjoying a show!
Pretty cool spot but it seemed like the sound system was never quite right. Smaller venue but still fun. On a side note, Garbage was great!
I used to absolutely love everything about this place. It is still okay but now after the remodel they try and nickel and dime everyone to death. 50-30 bucks to go up on the balcony? That used to be one of the best parts fighting your way up top and standing on the stairs to watch the show. You cant even see the show from the stairs now. You pay 30 bucks to get a balcony spot and you cant even use the bathroom or get a beer? Whos great idea was that? The new bathrooms are really nice for a shopping mall or movie theater. Super cool that their all more stalls but whats with all the super light Princess colors and generic plastic upcoming events display on the stall doors? Where did all the grungy metal stuff go? The bathrooms should be dark colors with all the old badass posters they used to have. Put some giant album covers on the stall doors make it grungy. Those bathrooms have no character anymore... Remember the audience you are serving.
Totally rocked out and witnessed a woman eat anothers soul! Pro wrestling like none other. Great show! Good times!
Great sound and lighting. Carters well to audiences big and medium. Lines for bathroom, bar and pizza were all quick to get even when sold out.Too many upcharges (Balcony, skip the line).
I just had a great time at a concert with innovative fresh artist. What a great venue that is warm, open, yet not too busy.
A great venue. A little packed at max capacity but not bad. Enough bar tenders to keep wait time low.
What an amazing venue! Such an awesome feel to it and the sound system is on point. Metal is still very much alive and it is places like this that are making that happen. Very friendly staff and great vibes from everyone. I look forward to many more visits!
Great small venue, bar and friendly staff.
Great time at the MIW show. Probably the only venue I havent been to in Denver, but great for a pretty big crowd, bars too. Upper balcony is awesome. Good sound too. Parking is only a block away, love the LODO area. Well be back.
Went to a concert and it was awesome. Great sound. Clean bathrooms. Quick service at the bar.
I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Demons and Wizards at this venue. I had a phenomenal view from the balcony, as opposed to the general admission tickets I had originally purchased. It was an extreme relief to find out that balcony seats were available for purchase. The show and sound were superb and I highly recommend this venue when in Denver.
Summit is my favorite venue for watching indoor concerts. The sound system is great and you’ll catch an up-close, unobstructed view of the band from numerous locations. The drinks are reasonably priced and the food they serve is actually quite good. I highly recommend attending a concert here.
Cool new venue. Nice BALL room! Great sound. I dig the renovation going on in the whole neighborhood.
Great venue. Loved how close you can get to the stage. Peter Hook and the Light were awesome.
This is a great venue! Loved the atmosphere. Totally a sick place to see a metal show
Awesome venue. Loved how the bar was setup. Easy to get drinks and get back to where ever you were in the crowd
This was quite an awesome venue to be at. I honestly have never been to this one before but have seen plenty of shows in Denver. The sound was amazing, the bar is not totally out of the way. Even from farther in the back I could still get a great view of the artists. I think I will definitely be coming back to Summit for more shows.
Great all-around venue. Saw Mogwai there the other night and it was a great setting for the band. Large enough that you dont feel claustrophobic, but small enough that the sound hits you just right. The interior is very modern and well kept. I look forward to seeing more concerts there in the future.
Went to see Sabrina Claudio here and had a positive experience. The cocktails were good; nice dance floor and sitting area on the main floor and 2nd level. I wouldnt mind coming back here for another concert.P.s. be careful, there are a lot of homeless people near the summit, this is an issue in the downtown area.
Kodaline and Ocean Park Standoff - absolutely worth it !
Great venue.
Great open Ill ng band! After Midnight. What a guitarist on lead! Wow
One my my favorite venues in Colorado. Not as fun since they axed the balcony but still a top 5 Denver venue for live music. Great sound and well priced drinks.
Great venue for local and smaller national bands. Decent acoustics, great sound system. The drinks are affordable and theres pizza by the slice if you have the munchies.
Excellent venue, clean organized, professional and a great place to see and hear a national act
Great sound and light work. Stage setup made it so even though I was in the back I could still see.
Its unique, romantic, and artistic. Very trendy but a wonderful place to have fun and relax.
I mainly go for the metal concerts. The drinks are pretty pricey but Ive seen worse. The last time I went, it sucked because the bathrooms were out of order! But its a great place to thrash and then get the hell out of there. Its downtown so its easy to grab a great bite to eat after without driving.
Great little small venue for up and coming artists! Reasonable drink prices and food which is such a rarity! It makes it easier to buy tickets here because you know you wont go home bankrupt at the end of the night over drink prices.
This is a great venue, however they do not like to serve water. They will, but they will make you feel bad about it and not give you ice. Especially the guy in the hat.
Awesome but I would give it 5 star rating if one of the security workers wasnt so mean to me.
I feel like it was over capacity. You couldnt move an inch without bumping someone. I get they were busy, but the bartenders were not very friendly. The guys outside checking IDs were friendly and easy to talk with.
Great spot...the soundsystem and lights are top quality. Great music...good vibes!
Place is fun great pizza in there small so can see everwear
One of the best music venues in denver. They always have bands I want to see and will continue to go. Great bar staff!!
Saw Marianas Trench and they are amazing live! Summit is an awesome venue! Small enough to see the stage well, sound is amazing, and they have great pizza! Many close parking lots. Highly recommend!
I was at the No Rules tour ...and had the best time ever ...and they have really awesome gigantic pizza slices too!#Enjoy
Awesome place! Wasnt too loud and I got to be in a mosh pit.
A lot more spacious since their renovations! It’s an awesome venue with a bar. Parking is a little hard to find but if you know the area there’s side streets that you can easily park on. The only downside is that they charge $20 a head to get upstairs onto the balcony which seems ridiculous especially because a lot of the artists that play here are appreciated by teenagers who’s parents may want to accompany them without joining in on a mosh pit. The balcony was a great chill spot to watch the show if you didn’t want to be right in the middle of it. Hopefully they stop once they make back the money from the renovations.
Summit used to be one of my favorite venues in Denver, but after the Live Nation corporate takeover, this place has lost all humbleness. 8° weather, and they dont even bother having a coat check for people. I dont know if they want fans to either catch hypothermia from outside, or to suffer from heat stroke inside. Either way, its a poor business move.
Cool music venue. Went to a small show, sound was very good!
I wish they would turn on the AC. Sweltering in there. Otherwise the venue is nice and open and you can pretty much see from every angle. Absolutely no seating though.
I love this venue. Really tall ceilings, good size, not too big not too small, easy to see from most places. Plus you can take the FF4 directly to the front steps from Boulder!!!!! ALSO THEY HAVE PIZZA BY THE SLICE! Reasonable prices for a concert venue. I saw Smino last night and he was amazing!!!!! Everyone was dancing and the vibes were very fun. I am not a big metal/punk fan so idk if I will get the chance to go again. I hope so!
Went to a sold put gramatik show recently, first time at the summit and I was impressed with such a small venue having two bars, and bathroom stall doors that actually close(what a concept). Sound system was great except for the side areas, they need more/better speakers for the sides as I couldn’t hear a lot of important high notes in the songs. If you’re paying to be there, there should not be a single spot where the music doesn’t sound good, just sayin.
Saw Motion City Soundtrack on their farewell tour here. Great venue, super expensive beer and overcrowded. But fun.
Always love going to see shows here
I like the venue. There are plenty of good viewpoints. I dont like how the balcony is extra. Otherwise a decent venue.
The sound was great, and the stage is super close to the crowd. Also its pretty big. Theres lots of room to move around.
Super venue! Lots of space to move around and some seating
Friendly staff and easy simple venue! Love the shows there!
Great venue with a large amount of standing room.
This place used to be cool before Live Nation bought them out. Charging 20 bucks to sit upstairs on the balcony and 30 dollars for a re-entry fee for an event thats 10 hours.. I will never support this venue or Live Nation ever again.
Sound was OK but great spot to be downtown. Bar is huge with a convenient one located closer to the stage.
A great place to watch Bands.
Summit is a fun place to see a show but if you wait til day of they charge you three times the price to get in. Literally $30 to go listen to someone play an emo spotify playlist. Not ideal.
Great venue! Was able to see the stage from anywhere!
Small concert venue perfect for making new friends.
Atreyu concert:Ice nine kills, Memphis may fire, and Atreyu
Wonderful venue. You feel so close to the band and the bar and merch are right at hand too.
Renovated venue is nice and spacious, but paying 20-50 bucks for balcony is not. Also paying $13 to skip to the front of the line is in poor taste.
Had VIP tickets for one of our favorite bands, Periphery. Suzanne and team at Summit were absolute legends. Thank you so much for such a great experience.
All artist that perform there have amazing music and have a unique taste in music!
Favorite smaller venue. Sound is always nice. and you can see the show good from anywhere in the house
Fix your sound proofing in the back. I love concerts and go to one at least every couple weeks. Since you updated the interior, it seems you missed an upgrade.
Great performers, but poor location. Small, seemed over occupied/crammed, upstairs is VIP only, no set line for merch, staff did not regulate the event at all, messy, stage not high enough to see and no information provided on website. Does not state that there is no assigned seats and that upstairs space is VIP only. Will not be attending this place again.
What a great venue! Not a bad standing spot in the whole place. Great acoustics too. A great place to catch a show and super close to some great bars for pre or post concert delights.
Cool venue.
Was the best music experience Ive had yet
I had such a great time here. It was a wonderful night!
Great venue. Saw August Burns Red on the Phantom Anthem Tour.
