I surprised my family with a brunch cruise shortly after we moved to Florida as way to start getting to know our new state. And we all had a great time. It was a very relaxing cruise and we had the chance to roam around which allowed for some great pictures. It was fun because at times it felt like we were watching Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous: as the photos show, we saw amazing homes, yachts, and even Steve Wynn’s super-yacht with a heli-pad. The food was excellent as was the service. If you’re just visiting or like us exploring your state, this is definitely a must do adventure.
OUR WEDDING ABOARD LADY ATLANTIC - START TO FINISHWe started looking for the perfect wedding venue 10 months early knowing that a November wedding might be a challenge. Initially, we were looking at the typical hotel function rooms, but none of them excited us. They were just big boxes. My future bride thought about looking at one of the two dinner cruise boats offered by Delray Yacht Cruises. I was intrigued. We both called for a meeting to see what we might expect. My first impression before getting on the boat was we would step into white metal box that smelled of diesel fuel. As I stepped onto the bigger of the two boats was WOW. It was really tastefully decorated, with plush carpets, lots of really nice woodwork, and large windows. I immediately fell in love - but was waiting for the crushing prices. To my complete surprise, a wedding on the boat would cost less than those hotel box rooms, so after talking about it, we reserved the Lady Atlantic for our wedding. We had a lot of people flying in for our wedding, and we wanted them to feel the Florida charm. Having a wedding in a hotel would be like every other hotel wedding, but a wedding cruise in the Inter-coastal would be a lifelong memory. Seriously - how many weddings have you been on held on a great yacht ?As planning moved forward, my bride was getting to be a nervous wreck, feeling that the details would be overwhelming. We had been working with Meghan, the boats event planner, and for a little more, she would help with the planning and details. This was a must, and she nailed down the timing, which is pretty important. She was a great asset and extremely helpful. Thanks Meghan. On our wedding day, Meghan organized everyone, moving everyone to the top deck, keeping the bride hidden from the guests. The boat left the dock as we started the ceremony. The video of us saying how vows, with palm trees passing by in the background, backed by a beautiful sunset. At the moment we both said our I DOs, we did so as the bridge on Atlantic Ave opened up - just for us. The photo was amazing. We then moved downstairs for drinks and dinner. We paid for an open bar, and I was initially worried that guest would have to all get in line to buy drinks. This was not the case. The staff kept drink glasses full. We had many of our friends say they were amazed at how attentive the staff was. Big KUDOS to the staff. They couldnt have been more professional. As for the food - WOW. Way beyond my expectation. Everything was delicious. Just perfect. Again, our guests told us that they were surprised at how good the food was.We were on the water for 3.5 hours. This was the perfect amount of time in our opinion. I cant express the feeling that everyone commented on, sitting at our tables and causing past all of these beautiful homes at night that were all lit up. The experience, and yes, it was an experience, was totally unique. Everyone said that this was one of the best weddings that they had ever attended - and much of this was due to having our wedding on this gorgeous vessel. It was a great way for people from out of state to experience Florida at its best. It couldnt have been more rewarding to have so many people raving about the experience for the following month. To the Captain of the boat, Meghan, the Chef and the entire staff - thank you so much for creating a LIVE TIME MEMORY.
Very nice! Took my friends from out of town on a sunset cruise down the intercoastal. PLEASANT atmosphere, seating could have been a little more comfortable, maybe more like boat seating, staff was very friendly, professional, Christmas music was playing over the speakers. It would have been nice to have drinks included, I didnt realize I hadnt paid for that option, making reservations was a breeze, although, they didnt explain the options/packages very clearly over the phone. Didnt see much of the sunset...boat left later than scheduled time but, overall it was a very enjoyable, memorable 2 hour ride. Houses were beautiful. We also won two free passes for a future cruise in the drawing at the end of the night. Cool surprise!
My family and I enjoyed it very much .
Nice crew. Our tour didn’t make it to open water :/ But other good trip.
Very comfortable. Good food and yummy drinks, with an attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable staff!
Nice place to relax with love ones but foods is not good because it taste like bitter.
We had a great time and would be 5 stars but there were people who didnt speak English that thought it was ok to pile chairs all around us so we couldnt even move. Maybe thats ok regularly but not in a pandemic lol.
One of the best experience we have done.
They ruined a wedding party !!!Such an important and memorable day . We made a reservation for party of 12 people(,the brides dream was to have wedding on a boat,so we wanted to surprise her with at least lunch on a boat,) but for some reason the person who paid the tickets got 11(thats us to blame) When we board the boat( there were still 15 minutes before the schedule time) the employees who checked us, told us no to go back for the 12th ticket, they say we can all go in and buy one tickets at the bar on board or pay the ticket on the way back ! And a minute before the boat leave they told us that one of us should get off the boat BECAUSE the capacity was reached and there were no more tickets available There mistake was that they let us board without tickets and telling us everything is fine not to worry! Of course we all got off the boat, and they ruined a big part of the day !
Yummy foods and nice place but staffs is not accommodating.
I would recommend getting there minutes 30 to 45 minutes in advance to get a good seat. The pinacolada drinks are good but not worth paying for the alcohol. They put less than a half an ounce in the drink. This is my third boat tour in Florida because of the scenery I would rank it number 3
So relaxing!! Great way to see some sights on a lazy afternoon.
Nice way to spend a sunny afternoon!! Our 1st cruise with Del Rey. The ship was pristine. The staff was very nice, professional and courteous. The narrator was interesting. The food was ok. Not the best. Not the worst. However, we can for the cruise on the intercoastal waterway.
Great Yacht cruises I only wish they ran more sunset cruises.
Enjoying the cruise and music. Atmosphere is great
It was a nice cruise. It is very triggering to see all of the Trump 2020 signs during the ride though.
Nice trip. You get better seating if you choose the dining cruise and not just sightseeing. There was still an option to buy food and drinks a la carte and very reasonable prices.
Nice 2 hour cruise down the intercoastal.
We had a great 2 hour boat tour on the intercoastal. The staff on the boat were friendly and the day was perfect. Will definitely take the boat trip again someday.
This is very good time. Nice ride. You see lots of beautiful homes on the intercoastal. We went on one with the grandkids. It was a breakfast cruise. Everyone Had a great time. I highly recommend it! ️
Been on 9 Delray Yacht Cruises and never had a bad experience. The crew is always professional, attentive and are on top of every detail. I should have said that I always have an exceptional experience.
Great tour of our local river in a very comfortable ship. Well equipped with clean restroom facilities and shaded areas to sit. Additionally, they have an upper deck for those wishing to view beautiful home and nature from that vantage point. Enough seats throughout the ship. They also serve food and drinks to order. They also have a dinning seating area for those wishing to sit indoor while still having view of the sights. Bon voyage
The trip was enjoyable! The wait staff was excellent. It is our 4th experience with friends and family. Would highly recommend!!
We are tourists traveling threw the area. This is definitely a great cruise. The service is 5 stars. The food was great and the yacht was very clean. Best cruise we have been on. Definitely check them out. When we are in the area again we will go out again on the yacht.
Sights were good, food was OK, drinks were nonexistent. Asked for the champagne, they were out of stock, so I asked for a Sangria,..they gave me something straight from the bottle with no fruit - and I doubt there was any alcohol either. Dessert took forever to serve.
Awesome time well worth it.
It was fun, though it was hard to hear the tour guide outside.
Enjoyable and relaxing especially on a nice day. About 2 hours. The southern route down the intercoatal was pleasant.
$28 per adult cost, but a nice ride. They made nice ice coffee and a great Bloody Mary. Narration was okay, not great.
Nice and relax but gets boring after shout an hour
I had very nice experience. The food was delicious and the drinks were reasonable. The only thing I would suggest that needs to be improved is the A/C. It was warm in some areas. I cant wait to go again.
Great way to see Boca-Delray from the intra coastal! Worth a try for tourists and locals alike. Go Pats
Beautiful cruise, perfect attention
It was a really nice thingto do in Delray beach, in company of friends to cacht up and have a few drinks... we always have fun!!!
Had such a great time on this yacht cruise with friends and family steel band cruise!! @vilovexoxo
Boat was very nice. Service was slow. Food mediocre. Biggest wish is that they include more history of the area in the tour. There are a lot of amazing things about the area that were not covered in the tour.
The view and the 2 hour trip was relaxing. However the food was not ok. My wife order a salad and it came with rotten pieces inside and on top of that she got sick. My wife attributes the stomach ache to the salad.
Went on the Sunday afternoon sightseeing tour today and my wife loved it. Cant beat the $20 per person special they have. The ship has outdoor and indoor seating. Half of the tour is narrated and takes you down the intercoastal to Boca Raton before turning around. Service was wonderful and very professional. Only recommendation would be to lower the prices of food (pictured).
Delightful cruise. The staff was very accommodating. Would go again.
This is a good way to spend your day if you have like $13 but are homeless cause its long and fun.
Fun, relaxing, scenic intercoastal cruise!
We had a lovely Friday evening cruise along the waterway. The guide educated us about the area and the homes. We didnt actually launch until about 15 minutes after the stated time which was OK as I feel the tour was long enough. The lights on the buildings are beautiful in the evening and it gave an entirely different feeling than during the daytime.Be prepared for the upsell with the overpriced drinks and food! Staff was friendly but I felt like we were the only ones not ordering!
The cruise was wonderful. The narrator was very easy to hear and understand. Very informative as well. The brunch was delicious and the servers were A1.
Wonderful afternoon 2 hours sightseeing on the intercoastal. Seeing all the homes was a lot of fun. The food we ordered was beyond expectations. Will definitely return for another Cruise sometime in the future. Five star rating for sure.
Its basically a tour of the multi million dollar waterfront properties with a bit of name dropping added in heading in one direction and then music and food and beverages pushing on the ride back. It was nice to spend a few hours on a luxury yacht but really materialistic and kind of boring tour. Look around the shops for a $3 off coupon not available on line if you really want to take a boat ride on the inter coastal.Oh they also take a souvenir pic of you getting aboard ;slowing the process down (we had to get o. Line by 1 for a 1:30 boarding ) and were already quite far back on the line. We didnt get seats upstairs and ended up outside downstairs getting on board about 8 minutes to 2 and then had to wait for the draw bridge to open. Hurry up and wait!!!
I really enjoyed this relaxing 2-hour tour. The first half the captain explained and told stories, history, and facts; on the return just music. Viewed houses, landscaping, bridges, mangroves, beaches, boats, yachts and some birds. They will serve you drinks and food, if you want and pay for it. Well worth the $27.
Took the Holiday Dinner Cruise on the Intracoastal Waterway to Boca Raton. The ship was bigger and better than expected and the food was very good. Kelsey, our server, was very good. The holiday lights along the route were awesome and the weather was perfect. A great value and a wonderful experience!
Beautiful wedding with amazing service.
So relaxing
A very relaxing Cruise
Great, relaxing, nice snacks, the crew was very accommodating, going south is the best.will recommend it for everyone.
Wonderful cruise, great crew, mediocre food
Beautiful cruise down to Boca Raton and back. The weather was lovely the staff is professional and courteous. Truly enjoyed the scenery on the intercoastal
Great cruise, lots of history of intra coastal and area of south Florida
Loved seeing the intracoastal homes and learning about the history of the area.
Its fun for the kids
This is one of my favorite things to do in Delray - cheap, takes up the day and is educational! Also, who doesnt love being on the water?
Came for the BoosAwesome experience! Great for kids and adults.
Love cruising down the Intercostal!Great way to spend an afternoon.A must for visitors & residents!
Thank you so much for hosting our wedding. Were looking forward on coming back. The staff was wonderful and everyone was so nice to us. xoxo to the crew members!
My niece her husband and I had the pleasure of being overwhelmed by the crew and staff. The brunch was more than five star. The cruise and the scenery are a must-see. You could be below or a top and have the best view. I myself would recommend the Delray Yacht Cruise to anyone if they like awesome food and scenery and feel special.
Awesome place to eat and have an enjoyable boat ride.
Nice ride on the intracoastal if you want to see all the multimillion dollar homes. You can sit on the top in the sun or inside which is air conditioned. They have drinks and food for purchase. They do take reservations which is recommended.
Great experience for a reasonable price. The staff was very courteous, especially Julie, our server, who was the best. The actual boat was very nice. Clean bathrooms (and very spacious for a boat). We took the 5:30pm sunset cruise that lasted 2 hours. Will do it again soon. Thanks!
Good Cruise. Professional staff
Great relaxing trip. Food was good. I couldnt really follow the guide but I really didnt care about that. Kids enjoyed it. Price was fair with the discount. The staff was courteous, and the kiosk attendant very informative and friendly. The tour leaves on time.
Best way to see South Florida is from the water! It is well worth the trip to see the intercoastal mansions. Food and drinks are good. Captain gives a nice tour and history of the region. Water is typically calm. I had brought my mom for mothers day and she was very pleased. They also responded promptly to my email.
We had a great time! Good food and great service!
Excellent outing. The narrator was great and full of historic information about the route. The meal was delicious and plentiful. I would have liked to have chosen my seat but denied that option when I asked. A well spent 2 hours....
On my birthday took a little trip on this yacht the staff were super kind
Great staff and good food.
I am giving this company a one-star review NOT because of the service or boat. The staff was very kind and friendly! I am giving this company a one-star because they USE PLASTIC FOR EVERYTHING THEY SERVE. Napkins wrapped in plastic, forks & knifes made of plastic and drinking cups - PLASTIC! With the winds on the boat everything was blowing off the roof deck into the ocean. I saw a few napkins and cups roll off the boat right into the water. SO AWFUL. Our ocean is full of plastic and this company is contributing. Do away with the plastics, Delray Yachts! Also, if you know youre not going to purchase a picture with the boat sign, dont take the photo. They print out all the photos and show them to you to purchase. If you dont purchase the $10 photo they throw it out. WHAT ANOTHER WASTE :(If you care about the environment, eat before you go on this ship and dont take a photo unless you know youre going to buy it :)Save our ocean!
Amazing experience each and every time!
Its a bus with a bar full of old people looking at rich people houses. Am I supposed to be like, wow look at that house, must be pretty expensive!? Cause thats the saddest way to spend a couple hours I could think of
Absolutely top notch! The staff were awesome, the food is the best and the yacht is beautiful! Cannot say enough about this business!
We loved our cruise on the Lady Delray. The staff was great. The bar was well stocked and we learned so much about the Delray channels. Highly recommend!
Excellent in what they do. Ive gone twice now going south on the waterway, the food is excellent, the atmosphere is great, you definitely get what you paid for.
Enjoyed the cruise very much, very historical information through to today!
Great service!!!! The crew was very friendly and sweet. At least do this once in your life.
Good weather make the cruise excellent.
Beautiful Yacht, friendly and professional staff, food great, scenery lovely! Wouldve loved for it to last longer.
Wonderful cruise on the intracoastal on a yacht. There are tables and chairs on every level. If you dont want to be in the sun, there is an air-conditioned area with comfortable seating. They also have food and drinks that are reasonably priced. Great narration of the sights on the cruise. A very pleasant way to spend 2 hours and then walk the avenue in Delray.
Great service, great food and an awesome DJ!!!
The service was great, the food was amazing. It was a very nice date night on the water.
Good way to spend the day.
A beautiful 2 hr. Cruise of delray & boca for only $20. How can you beat that.
I love cruising but I prefer the daytime cruise because I love looking at the houses! The crew is top notch, the ride was smooth in spite of 18 mph wind, the food tasty, and the service speedy! Ill come again!!
Very nice experience. The boat was very elegant.Interior well kept. It had three levels ( I missed the first one). The crew was very pleasant. The views of the intercoastal was beautiful. For a moment I felt jellalous of all the rich folks with the condos next to the water. Then I thought : Next to the water is the LAST place I want to when the next hurricane hits. Back to my review. In my opinion the menu could be different. Something different than quesadillas, wraps, chicken fingers. and Cesars salad.
Great for large party Sunday Brinches
Beautiful evening for a cruise with friendly, professional crew, great food, and a great way to relax for a couple hours! Highly recommend this!
This is a tradition for my family. The local cruise is great and the food is amazing. We make the trip twice a year, and it never disappoints. Looking forward to the next cruise. Real soon...
Great fun was had by all!
Average food, breath taking views, lovely breeze
Super fun nice cruise to see some of the backs of those million dollar homes
