Local community theater in Lake Ida area with a wide variety of live stage performances from theater to musical. The Delray Playhouse has been here since the 1940s. For the last three years we have been buying their annual theater subscription which includes five scheduled shows. Its been about $200 for both of us to see 5 shows each year and its something we look forward to. The theater is professionally run and intimate. Its great to support the arts and to have such nice entertainment in Delray Beach. This theater has expanded its offerings to include more musical programs and even a childrens theater and summer camp. This theater is not fancy but its comfortable and clean. Weve enjoyed ourselves and have started inviting friends to join us. We wish Delray Beach Playhouse many more decades of success.

Nice facility, though just a little off the beaten track. Waterfront layout with nice views and comfortable patio area.

Great smaller venue offering all kinds of plays, musical, reviews. The review was wonderful the singers were terrific, and the host was very entertaining and knowledgeable about the evenings subject. The only negative is that we went early to enjoy a seat on the outdoor patio overlooking the lake which is beautiful but could not stay because we were swarmed with bugs. What a shame. Maybe some citronella candles might help

A wonderful community resource with excellent production values. I wish the musical productions spanned more variety (different eras... Not so American songbook 40s-60s centric for our snowbird population) but the quality and the facility are great

I have been to this theater several times. Located along a lake so the scenery is very nice for waiting before the show. Small theater so all the seats are good. Very enjoyable.

Our first time here after many years of living in the area. Its a cozy venue in the park. We enjoyed the performance and will most likely be back.

The show was pitiful. The music was Rogers and Hammerstein. The singers were mediocre at best.

Attractive theater building on a beautiful lake. Productions are well known plays, but a long skills are uneven.

Small area for the comedy show guests but easy to see the stage

The play was very good . The acting was great they made it like you could imagining really happen. The play was called The Californa Suite. . On Intermission they sell smacks on the lobby . Great emtertatainment for good price

Wonderful Agatha Christie play. There is nothing like live theater!

So far ive walked out of 3 out of 5 performances. Bad singers and terrible actors . No one seems to have thier hearts in the performances. Ive seen greater performances at Boca West Highschool by kids

A great little theater located on a lake! The seats are very comfortable and we had a Greta view of the stage.

I always like seeing plays at the playhouse. Especially those that feature the brilliant actress, Charlotte Sherman!

We like the shows. Tonights was nust delightful. Neal Sedakas music was enjoyef by all and the artist was phenomenal. Everyone left smiling.

Nice small venue, comfortable seats and good sightlines

Lovely neighborhood theatre with almost professional shows. Director, Randolph (Randy) Delago always carries the show, whether its MUSICAL MEMORIES or theatre productions. Best bargain in town. A season subscription of five plays costs $100.

A lovely surprise. Unfortunately, the show we saw was not too good. A better production would have made this theatre a real gem
