Super cool spot. I love the live music on Friday nights and socially distance set up is great.
Beautiful music venue and historic center of downtown Delray Beach, been the heart of delray for as long as I can remember. Great atmosphere and plenty of outdoor events all throughout the year.My only complaint being that I wish the city would spend more resources towards bringing in more talented music acts that people would like to attend. There are plenty of local competent promoters/booking agents that could breath a breath of greasy air into the music scene here (ie: brotherly love productions), no reason we should be outshined by the city of lake worth. Garlic fest for example which was the best event held, but still lacking in the talent scouting imho, was lost to lw a few years back.Hope to see Delray back in the radar in the years to comePhotos copyright and provided by @slightly_skewed
Excellent music and social distanced pod had us feeling safe all night
We love Old School Square! Always fun events taking place on their grounds-whether it is the Green Market, Free Friday Concerts, Exhibits in Cornell Art Museum, or shows in Crest Theatre, there is always something to do here! There is also a parking garage located right on the grounds to make it convenient.
All the magic of the Christmas is here. Amazing 100 feet tree lighting with villages inside and a big nativity in this park, fun for everyone !
Paid for VIP tickets for a concert, and spent the night having to look at the back of peoples heads. It seems you can buy the cheapest tickets possible and then go stand infront of the premium and vip ticket holders, And no one will say anything to you. So if you are going to an event just buy the cheapest ticket possible and then go stand in front of the stage for the entire concert disregarding that people paid for vip and premium seating.
We arrived got a couple beers and started walking around. We came for the seafood and I purchased some fried oysters my family and I started to sample the oysters and they were cold I stopped my family from eating any of food. All the fried food stands were heaping with fried food underneath heat lamps which only covered the center of the pile of seafood the condiments were in direct sun we left the festival to get something good to eat at Rocco tacos where I spent some time in the bathroom. Never again and will not promote this festival bogus
Old School Square is the Cultural Hub of Delray Beach!Art Classes, Theatre, Art Museum, Amphitheater Entertainment, Art Shows, Field House Events all located at the Entrance to our Historic Downtown!
The square was amazing! I went for the Delray Beach Craft Beer Festival. It was a great spot very spacious and great upkeep of the land. I would go to any event there!
Great open space. Close parking.
Found parking on street within 100 feet of location during Santa visiting hours brought the family and found the event to have security and be well lit and safe. A must see!
Free concerts and a historic vibe. Always something cool to see or people watch in the old school square - drum circles, dogs playing frisbee, ect. In the evenings during season there are all sorts of events. This is where the Delray Green Market is held too.
This is an open green park area in the middle of downtown Delray Beach, where many outdoor festivities are held. There is a museum, a Performing Arts Theater, and an outdoor Amphitheater in this area.
Such a historical gem in Downtown Delray. Amazing Art Museum, intimate theater with broadway shows, instruction classes, and Free Friday night concerts
Every event, Ive DJd at this venue has been fantastic. Warm nostalgic feel and plenty of space.
This is a great place to visit any time of year but especially at Christmas time.
