Just stopped in for the first time and ordered an iced lavender latte. Best coffee in the area hands down. Very nice staff!!! Good quality espresso and drinks that aren’t overly sweet. Can’t wait to stop by again

The best coffee place in Dearborn, its not even close! Whether its espresso, lattes or just a plain black coffee, Black Box will expertly serve up something delicious.Aside from their wide array of beverages they will home bake goodies on a daily basis. Dont pass up the chocolate chip cookies if theyre available.Black Box has a really convenient walk up window as well and their location at Wagner Place is ideal.

I LOOOOOVE the walk up coffee window in West Dearborn. It is super convenient and COVID-safe. It’s a great option if you drive or walk or bike and want some great coffee served up by a friendly face without having to even enter the building. Plus, you can look at some art through the windows while you wait.

Lavender latte is the best! As Rayand Sarah said, ‘we strive for balance’ and they came through. Not too much sweetness to mask the espresso fullness. Just right!

I literally go to this place almost everyday. Probably my favorite coffee, but whats even better than the coffee is the staff. Its a nice quite place to do work, and there is new art every month or so aswell. All in all its a great place.

Great place for the community. Beautiful artwork from many artist with new exhibits coming in regularly. A great plus side is the Great Lakes coffee available for a latte, cappuccino etc. A+!

A+. No issues. Walk in minimalist coffee shop + art gallery + retail store. In addition there is a Walk/Bike up window. Oat Milk (which is quite rare) is available in addition to the standard Soy, Almond, Whole etc., Plentiful parking in rear of the building, easy to access location, wheelchair accessible.

I discovered Black Box last summer when I heard about a new art gallery opening in Dearborn. I have seen every exhibition since finding them and they are always engaging and enjoyable. They have also been slowly rolling out the coffee shop within the gallery and it is imho the best coffee shop in Dearborn! They serve Great Lakes Roasters Coffee and pull a mighty fine espresso. Having moved here from Portland, Oregon not too long ago I learned to appreciate great tasting coffee while living there. Ditch Starbucks and go to Black Box! I hope they start selling whole beans one day for my home brewing.I love this little stretch of Monroe St. and look forward to seeing how it grows.

Ok some art not my taste

I visited Black Box for the first time today, and was extremely pleased and impressed with my experience. I highly recommend the Lavender Latte, which is a wonderful blend of floral notes and strong espresso. If you are lucky enough to meet the owners, they create a welcoming environment with wonderful conversation. A hidden gem is all of the artwork from local artists as well as local trinkets which make wonderful gifts. I will definitely be back!
