You can drive through beach while watching the waves hit the shore, incredible site. You might even want to park the car sideways and chill while eating your to go pizza. Visit in the morning and you would be awed by the sunrise.

Don’t hesitate and go drive your car on the beach, this is a crazy once in a lifetime experience-unless you’re a local. We did it on a cloudy windy November day, with decent temperatures and a slight drizzle every now and then which made the beach be virtually empty, lovely drive and great time on the beach, as there was almost no traffic. I can imagine the experience being different on a hot summer day

Love it! Unfortunately we visited when some bad weather was coming and it was very windy but the beach was beautiful and clean and the water made up for it!

Well we went to far out on the beach and the life guards came for us but we know how to swim we where ok lol but other than that funnnn they came immediately by the way which I was surprised lol

Daytona is no longer famous, but it should be. The community really, really needs to beef up its advertising, perhaps building on the home of NASCAR game.

Paid one semester of college off by pulling stuck cars out of the sand with my Jeep! Only expense was a tow rope!
