The Artery is the place that local artists and crafts people exhibit and sell their works. It is one of my main stops when I am down town. It is also the primary place I go shopping for unique and beautiful gifts.

The Artery is an incredible oasis of local artists who display their unique art and actually share the responsibility of running the store. This gives the customer an opportunity to talk to the artist and contract for something custom and unique. This is a must visit venue because there is something there for any interest. Enjoy...

We live in the Bay Area and the highlight of our drive to Tahoe is always a stop at the Artery. Ive been going since 1987. In my opinion it is Californias premier affordable art shop. Great art at great prices.So glad it exists!
