Nice size park, plenty of well laid out parking spaces. Park provides plenty of shelter space, natural and man-made with picnic benches and clean restrooms. The park has a good selection of playground equipment recently updated with sufficient space for kids to play and not run into each other.
The show was amazing. The radio was very fuzzy at times.
Truly a beloved and cherished park in the QCs. One that our parents and theirs before them went to as children. The garden is beautifully kept, there is a huge sandbox with toys provided. A wonderful, interactive music area, a giant wooden toy train to play on and in, whimsical extra large painted chairs and even a water activities spot. Great huge playground across the parking lot as well, perfect for older kids. Literally an entire days worth of free fun for the littles. Take snacks and drinks for a picnic.
Great park put more money into it bring back petting zoo though...
Lite show was fun for the kids
I love Fejevary because of memories but the new play ground is not appropriate for small children, its ridiculous that they ripped out the playground that was handicapped friendly for the adult play ground thats there now.
The Learning Center is amazing! ️
Such a nice, relaxing place to take your kids!
It was nice to spend the day there very nice
Its a hometown park thats always nice
Park maintenance tried to kick me out because I questioned the fact that he asked one teenager where there parents were and not another.
So very beautiful
The park is great and kid friendly but we have tried to visit during open hours and it was closed
I loved it I was there to see a lightshow. Its clean a good place to bring your children to.
Nice set up. Great memories for the kids!
They had a nice holiday display but could be better, they need a place visable for donations
Sandbox where the kids can dig for dinosaur bones park across st, musical instruments. Fun!
The park looked wonderful, so peaceful with so many childhood memories for me there and later my own children. Its timeless a Davenport treasure. I miss the monkeys and zoo though.
The Christmas light show was good but little short.
It was nice I took my grandchildren to see the lights
The xmas light show was awesone really enjoyed it
Awesome
Holiday lights were nice and the botanical gardens are always uplifting
It was a nice park. Just had more in the description than was actually there.. buildings were closed and no animals
Nice park, play area and pavilion area. Old Mother Goose Area is across the road.
I went there for a celebration of life for my cousins deceased wife. Not the park I remember growing up as a kid . No sledding allowed, no monkey island and they moved mother goose. I guess thats what the folks in Davenport Iowa call progress.
The last day for the Mother Hoose light show was Jan. 4th. Show started at 530..However when Me and my 3 little daughters get there for the 6:00 show there was nobody there. The lights were going the music was on and the park was locked ..not to mention the other family that were out there waiting as well. Not a good look Davenport Parks and Recreation.
It as a nice Christmas light on with mother guess
It used to be a fun place to walk your dogs and take your kids but between all the people washing their cars in the park and all Quinceaneras birthday parties and BBQs I feel like its not even the same park anymore.
Fantastic large park with space to run and explore plus it also has a big community pool, one of the few left in the area. When youre done swimming and exploring, make sure you stop in at the Putnam Museum which has changing exhibits and year round activities for all ages. There is also an IMAX type theatre attached which shows great films in 3D, many are first run category!
I love the playground, lagoon, and the waterfall.
Fejervary Park is a beautiful park l walk my dog Jack every morning it is a kid friendly in it contain a petting zoo for children and adults it has a learning center for children. Also located in the park is the Putnam museum and a I max, if you plan to travel to the great state of Iowa in Davenport this is a must see park. You want be disappointed.
Beautiful park. Picnic, walk around, visit the learning center, swimming pool, covered picnic tables, great!
Great place for kids to play and still relaxing for adults

Awesome park!!!great place to take the family and theres a museum right next to the park has a fenced in learning area for the smaller children and a playground for the bigger kids...a couple sheltered table areas perfect for lunchs or very small gatherings...away from the busy street and away from the parking area so vechicals arent driving in the play areas
Nice park to hang out with the family.
My son had fun on the pool slide
Great pizza and great service
Beautiful sighting very pretty
Fun place. Never boring
Fun place. Great for the family!
Great place to have fun. Clean and well taken care of by the Parks and Recreation department!
Was there for a great event with the humane society.
Good and quiet area for picnics and family gathering.
Nice views and playgrounds Mother Goose
This is one of Davenports hidden treasures. Go back to your childhood nursery rhymes at Mother Gooseland. Enjoy scenic views of the River - heck, take a turn on the swings!
Its a great park. Been there many times over my childhood. Will always get your exercise going up and down that hill. Have some water ready when you get home.
Wide open park good for walking
Great place to have a picnic, and let the kids explore.
This is a lovely place to have a picnic
Nice views..great parking..really quiet
Very nice
Best swimming pool
Monthly family days are fun. Still has big goose but none of the old stuff is still there. Family days have crafts and petting zoo and more.
Good
Not much going on...
Great place for hill repeats around the .7 mile loop
Kids had fun swimming. Good shade and nice breeze.
Gorgeous environment for a run, walk, bike ride, or wheelchair stroll!
Nothing at all like it used to be. No animals at all. Theres a big sandbox, a small playground, and some hands on musical displays. Again nothing like it used to be. Also quite a bit of garbage all over the place.
Great family park to get together contact city park to reserve
I am 57 yrs old and had my 5th birthday party at Mother Goose Land. It has slightly changed since then lol great memories. My daughter painted a picture hanging up in the educational center about 17 yrs ago in day camp. What I mostly miss at Fejervary are the MONKEYS they used to have. I could sit and laugh for hours at them. The park is great and the pool is awesome compaired to the pool I took diving lessons at many many years ago. Also as someone mentioned the sledding hills where fun but also kind of dangerous as I remember. The one now is definitely safer. Nice park and lots of great memories as a child and an adult as well.
Nice park for kids
Great old school park!
Love going here for the 4th of july
Live this park to death
When my brother and I were younger, wed haul our slides up on top of the hills and sled down those hills until we moved to Kelling street in 1966. We always had such a fun time. The last time I was through Davenport was in 1986 when I was traveling through on my way to Cannon AFB in New Mexico, my final US Air Force assignment before retiring. I had plans to travel around now that Im retired, but neuropathy prevents me from that.
They have 4 shelters to rent that is reasonable, no electricity. We used a generator. Huge playground. Clean bathroom.
The city has redone the learning center. I am looking forward to seeing the changes.
It cleaner
Was there for a party had rented the shelter and thank god no fights while they did not put my paper saying that i rented it
The Fejervary pool is the worst pool Ive been to in my entire life. Do NOT waste your money here!!! They should have a NO FUN sign stuck along with EVERY Other sign they have. I was a lifeguard for 10 years of my life. NEVER have I seen or had to enforce such rules at a pool. 1) I was told (as an adult) not to go UNDER the rope next to the slide after i went down...I HAD to use the stairs. 2) My niece was told she couldnt a a pep in her step and had to walk and wasnt allowed to sit on the water spouts. 3) A mother wasnt allowed to put her baby half way down and hold her baby going down the rest of the way on the BABY SLIDE. 4) My 6yr old son was too big for the baby slide and not old enough for the big slide. Makes you wonder WHAT we were able to do!
Seen 6 cardinals and THIS blue Jay that came right up to us
I remember going to the zoo as a child. That is closed now. The pool is still in operation though and they have large play areas. There is also lots of green space for picnics or to sit and read.
I needed to use the bathroom. There was no toilet paper, they had not been cleaned for quite some time and there was no running hot water.
Awww
Beautiful place, great for kids and right by the planetarium!
Its a very nice clean park with great scenery and pool access
Always been a great park born and raised:)
Great place for kids to have fun
Nice fenced in area(easier to track kids), cool train garden. Nice playground across way(not fenced in).
I Like that park, I hope they open up the upper side of the park again. Thank you!
Cute park for younger kids.
Great for birthdays and family functions
Few was Nice.
It is to be called Mother Gooseland. I spent ALOT of time here as a kid in the 70s. Disappointed that most of rhe original park is gone. But the Goose is still here..still my favorite!!
