If you’re thinking about visiting... just go! The staff were really sweet. The museum it self was informative and had very beautiful colors of pieces. They have info on small things I never thought of. The pics on google are also true!
This museum has a fantastic collection of unique glass pieces from around the world. We caught one of the tours, nearly from the beginning, and were absolutely impressed with the depth and knowledge of our tour guide. Each room brought new and wonderful princes that almost overwhelmed. Please take the time to visit if you’re at all interested in the arts.
Its a small museum with mostly contemporary pottery and glass art. The pieces were quite interesting and nicely displayed. They also have a themed scavenger hunt which is great for companions that might not be as interested in looking at the art pieces.
My husband and I came here for a date and had so much fun learning about and viewing the collection! They were hosting a scavenger hunt at the time, which we enjoyed participating in. Staff was friendly, place was clean, collection was interesting, and parking was free. What else could you ask for?
This museum in Dania Beach is a hidden jewel, the entrance is on the side and once you come in you get impressed. its a big place, and the selection of glass art is fantastic. i came with my friend and we spent 3 hours there. we almost had the whole place to ourselves on thursday. and we got a personal 10 minute VIP introduction by the lovely tour guide. if you love art, thats the place to go !
WMODA in Dania Beach is a small, yet world class, ceramic and glass museum with an impressive and unique collection of beautiful European artifacts from different time periods, all the way to contemporary artists. The rotating exhibit showcases a South African artist with a collection of colorful and fun nature-inspired ceramics where African life and animals are showcased prominently. Kimberly was our “host”, and despite not having ongoing tours at this time due to the pandemia, she was very helpful and enthusiastic to introduce us to the galleries.
This Museum-Gallery was a FANTASTIC find! The location is obscure but inside is another world, rather worlds (plural) because of the variety of art and the very tasteful way it is displayed in different sections and rooms - from traditional to contemporary to fanciful whimsy. There is something here for everyone and my husband and I highly recommend a visit.
Wow! What a great place to visit. Highly recommend it. I have past it several times before and always said we should visit. I am glad we finally did. Also the staff goes above and beyond. The museum is big enough that you can practice social distancing.
This place was amazing; a gem. The displays were well done and the artistry, beautiful. There was much more to see than expected from many time periods.
This was SO COOL! TAKE THE TOUR, YOULL LOVE IT. If youre a fan of art and its history (or just pretty things), then this place is for sure going to be fun for you. Its impeccably presented, organized, well lit, and even though it seems small being just one floor, you can spend an hour just walking around after the tour admiring the details. PLUS the admission is so affordable! My husband and I are definitely coming back.
Great displaysOne cant ask for more than this fabulous museum.
Beautiful collections of art, 19th century ceramics classwork and more. Tour was given for each section of the collections and very informative . overall had a wonderful time
Its like walking in a Beautiful, Colorful, Enchanting Dream. LOVED IT.
Great and big art museum! There is different types of art to see here.
Beautiful experience. A lovely museum with a welcoming and friendly staff. The glass is so beautiful. A great escape from the world for now.
I was very very impressed with the collections here. So much more extensive than I would have ever thought on first approach. They have wonderful exhibits that deserve a second visit. I will be back soon.
Lots of cool pieces. I was surprised by how big the place was.
So much fun! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and the collection is unexpectedly large, diverse, and simply breathtaking.
Thoroughly enjoyed my first visit!! I went to see Dale Chihulys gorgeous glass collection, and discovered that the museum houses exquisite ceramic pieces as well. Gallery size is irrelevant in this case. The quality, content, variety, and careful placement of the pieces caused me to pause in admiration of the beautiful creations. I cant wait to go back! I need to simply be still and absorb it all. Bravo to the curators and the support staff.
This place is AMAZING. I had 8 hours to pass before my flight from FLL and I figured a museum would be a good way to go! I know very little about art, but enjoy it very much, so this seemed like a good spot.I cannot overstate how lucky I was to find this place! Apparently, the WMODA is the largest collection of ceramics and glass under one roof in the entire US! I had no idea I was a fan of decorative arts until I visited this museum. The amazing history of different studios and their differentiating techniques, styles, and colors was all very accessible and engaging. What really brought it home for me was the people. I cannot believe how excited the employees were to talk about the art and show me around. THREE SEPARATE PEOPLE came up to me to talk about the art or the history or life. And not in an annoying or intrusive way! They saw I enjoyed the art and improved my experience greatly. The ground floor is an auction house and free to peruse. Amazing people there as well, and full of fossils, art pieces, and cars. This lovely place is an essential trip of any art lovers Ft. Lauderdale experience and is only $10 for entry, and FREE for students!
The Ancient designs and art works is something Ive never seen before. the staffs are most pleasant and friendly aslo its free for students with ID.

As I visited for business reasons, I didnt expect to be invited to walk through the museum. Wow was I impressed.I Didnt get to see the whole place, but the atmosphere was very inviting. Cant wait to take my wife. Lot of work went in to this museum, and it shows.

Breathtaking beautiful. I recommend for all art lovers. Much to see, will definitely come back. Really had a great time here. Peaceful, calm and quiet. Very good pricing. If you are observant, should not be hard to find.
My visit at the Wiener Museum of Decorative Arts(WMODA) was an experience I was not expecting. From a gracious welcoming through the elevator door to a plethora of history and beauty found in the many pieces exhibited in the museum, WMODA is truly a hidden gem. I would recommend anyone of all ages to experience a visit at this museum. The tours led by Kimberly are truly breath taking as she effortlessly takes you on a journey of the unique collection found at WMODA. Being able to come for those or hearing from different guest speakers, allows you to feel like you are always discovering something new. If you have not already visited and would like to experience someplace new WMODA is the place to be.
If you love art, then you must try this place.

One of the most beautiful and interesting collections Ive seen. So much to see in a relatively small space. Knowledgeable docents and friendly staff.
Outstanding museum and very interesting.
This is one of my favorite places in south Florida. Actually, one of my favorite places in the world. Packed full of ceramics and glass and artwork. You wont be disappointed.
Hidden treasure. Outstanding collections o.
The WMODA museum of decorative art is quite interesting. Large exhibitions of tabletop or decorative art such as Royal Doulton and Wedgewood pieces.
This is a pottery museum. My wife enjoyed seeing some of the artifacts, I didnt find them quite as interesting as she did. There was a huge amount of nudity which we did not like at all.
I did not hate it. It just was not opened anymore.
Amazing collections of art pottery and glass. The people there are very friendly and knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
It was a cute place to visit
Wow, who new we had a first class fired art museum right here in Dania? No one Ive been telling about it.I am a huge Chihuly fan so that alone would have made me happy. But wait until you see the Ardmore collection. I had never seen this work before and knew nothing about it. It is stunning and the story is amazing. Dont look it up just go and see it for yourself. This art needs to be experienced not googled. And thank you Arthur Wiener for sharing your passion with the rest of us. If this is the stuff you dont want to see everyday, I cant imagine the pieces you do need to see everyday.Oh and my wife has some Royal Doulton pieces she didnt see in your collection. She was wondering if you are still buying?
Beautiful and amazing museum to visit. Kimberly is informative and wonderful tour guide.
Really great place to spend the afternoon, this is a non profit so admission is a donation of $10 and it is well worth it considering all the shiny artifacts you get to see. Its also a great event space. Kimberly gave us a great tour of the place, and the rest of the staff is great too.
A undiscovered gem in the middle of hollywood. Beautiful collection of glass and ceramics. Must see!
Beautiful glass and pottery collections!
Being in Ft. Lauderdale, the day before a cruise, my husband and I had the good fortune, to find this hidden gem. The ceramic collection, of the Wiener family is, eclectic and amazing. Adding to our pleasure, the staff was friendly, accomdating and informative. We have another cruise planned in April and will definitely stop in again. P.S. So relieved they did not suffer any damage from Irma.
Incredible jewel that noone seems to know about. A really wonderful, entertaining and educational experience for anyone who can appreciate beautiful things and intetesting objects made by hand.
This place is filled with beautiful and amazing things!
Gorgeous ceramic and glass arts...close to the beach, airport, and Port Everglades. Group tours available. $10 donation is requested per person...it is well worth more.
