Kodner Galleries

Not your choice to buy something on the fly for your home. This is an auction house. Blah!!! Thumbs down. Besides only the rich and famous can come here although its nestled in the wrong location or neighborhood. Again Blah!!! Even if I was rich I would NOT come here. As soon as you walk in just give them your wallet. If I can give them half a star it would only be because of the rich history in the items they have.

Love Kodner galleries. Great dealing with Russ and his employees.

Fantastic service and friendly people. The owner Mr Kodner took the time to personally email me about an item I wanted to bid on. Sent photos, went the extra mile and gave me confidence to bid high enough to win. Have bought several items which have been accurately described. Looking forward to more purchases in the future. Another great feature is if you buy a piece of jewelry, they will ship for you. This is a huge safety advantage and few auction houses offer this service. This eliminates the need for the buyer to independently contact a shipper to pick up the item from the auction house. Lots of opportunity here for lost or missing items that may not be insured as it changes hands.Kodner Galleries has earned my loyalty.By contrast, a large auction in Chicago didnt answer emails or return phone calls, consequently, I didnt bid on the item, because I had no confidence. The item passed.

Kodner Galleries is the real deal specially nowadays where so called auction galleries seem to be popping out on a daily basis, specially here is S. Florida. The Kodner team is extremely professional, customer centered and the quality of the items that are auctioned off is exceptional (True antiques/collectibles and excellent state jewelry). You can rest assured also that if you buy a fine watch or jewelry from them it is genuine. Props to the entire team but specially to Joy who facilitated the pickup of my items.Jose Garcia

Found great items and very good auction prices. Everyone at the gallery was helpful and friendly. Picked up my items quick and easy. Will continue to participate in their auctions in the future.

Strongly recommended very professional and friendly love to do business with Kodner Galleries

These people openly refused to supply movement photos of antique pocket watches in an auction, leaving bidders to guess whats inside. Certain sales require interior views, like homes and classic cars, and professional auction houses should know which photos to include.

Easy to do business with as well as a pleasurable experience.

A unique place for a large variety of antiques and higher end collectibles. They have items from fine are to exquisitely appointed fine jewerly and heirlooms. Their selection is constantly changing. Very friendly and personable.

Dishonest gallery/auction passing off convincing reproductions as authentic pieces. If you enjoy getting ripped off you should buy from them. The auction is a big facade of shill bidding, misrepresentations and other fraudulent activities. Buyers beware

Good auction house but little experience with art work from 18th century

Very fast invoicing. Called Kodner Galleries o coordinate a time for me to pick up my items and the answered the phones every time in a timely manner. I gave them a day of Friday but I got severely ill on Thursday so I couldnt make it on Friday. I called Kodner Galleries and asked if they could hold my items until Monday and they had no problem with it. They were very professional but also very nice. Will definitely enter their auctions again....

I will be an ongoing customer after my last purchase. Prompt and professional in all aspects. The staff was so wonderful making sure that my recently purchased items were out before the hurricane arrival above their own personal safety. I will never forget what an impression this made on me. Again, Thank You.

To my delight, time and time again, the merchandise I bid on has arrived as described and safely. A carton arrived today and it was wonderful! Great people, great service, great shipping, who could ask for anything more? Thank you so much.

I have been trading with Russ Kodner for several years and I trust his vast knowledge which he has acquired growing up in the industry. He is sensitive to the ever changing market conditions. I have enjoyed doing business with him I have always felt I was dealt with mutual respect. His auctions are always interesting and exciting and I Look forward to his next venue.

********* BUYER BEWARE ********** BUYER BEWARE ****************Beware of outrageous shipping charges; charges change from the advertised listing price.(as mentioned from several other buyers below)In addition inflated insurance charges are required to be paid.In addition, Based on other buyers I would recommend the actual viewing of any item that you are bidding on.IN-ADDITION..........First time buyers from this auction house BEWARE because unlike what their TERMS AND CONDITIONS STATE they will not accept Credit Cards for payment. They require check or wire transferThey hold you to term and conditions and dont even honor their own terms and conditions.Because I wanted to pay by credit card since that was what was advertised I refused to wire transfer or a check So they opened a dispute ...NOW this auction house is trying to EXTORT the buyers fee of 24% of the item in order for them to remove the dispute. This place is a joke*************TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE*************************

Had an absolutely wonderful experience with Kodner Galleries. From the start of the auction process, through the shipping, everything went seamlessly. With regard to shipping, Jason and David went above and beyond the call of duty to get my items shipped out so that they would arrive at my office on a specific date. Fantastic customer service all around. I highly recommend Kodner Galleries!

My husband and I have been doing business with Jay and then Russ Kodner for many years. We always feel like our business is valued and appreciated. The auction results, whether jewelry, sterling or fine arts, have been amazing. We have had most of our purchases appraised and they ALWAYS appraise for well beyond what we have paid. We are so happy with Kodners, that we have introduced many friends to the auction site and currently even have a friends Kodner auction night where we partake of wine and keep the Kodner site on our computer for all our bidding when we cant be in attendance. We find all the staff from Russ to Paula to Kevin to Lisa to Betsy and the rest to be most respectful and attentive. They are a pleasure to deal with and we recommend them highly.

The best experience I ever had! very professional, very good very serviceoriented!

Could not find an entrance to the store

I have conducted over five (5) transactions with Russ at Kodner Galleries. Russ has been a pleasure to work with especially given his extensive knowledge and business ethics. I have had issues with other companies in the past and Russ has put my fears at ease as he is easily accessible and is a genuine, professional and courteous individual. My experience is not alone as my entire group of family and friends transact business with Russ and speak of him similarly. A+ for service!!

My husband and I have been customers of Kodner Galleries for many years. We have always received fair an honest appraisal of our items. Russ and his staff have been most courteous and helpful whether we are buying OR selling. We recommend Kodner Galleries often to friends and family and couldnt be happier with their professional service.

This is my second purchase from Kodners Galleries, and one again everyone was professional, friendly, and going the extra mile to it a wonderful experience. The items I purchased were exactly as described. I look forward to buying from them in the future.

They have auctions and antiques! Also customers can bring antiques to them if they are interested.

I could not have been more pleased with my experiences at Kodner Galleries Their service is second to none. Kodner has truly earned their reputation for excellence in the antique auction industry.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Good selection, and easy auction to follow

Great service and help every time. Been a customer from day one and would recommend it to anyone ! My mom loves the rolex I just got her !

I love this auction house ! I is full of very nice decorative items..

I have been a customer of Kodner Galleries since they opened up in South Florida in the 1980s! I have purchased fine jewelry from Jay and Russ Kodner over the years and have been extremely pleased. I have also sold and consigned items to Russ Kodner and have had exceptionally professional interactions. The Gallery operates with the utmost of high ethics. This is the type of business that requires honesty and ethical practices, especially if it is to maintain this type of excellent reputation going into its 108th year! It is my extreme pleasure to be a customer of Kodner Galleries!

Professional, Easy to deal with, prompt in responding to any questions, quick to ship. Highly recommend them,,,,,,,if they are auctioning what you are interested in.

This place is awesome but you need to make an appointment early

Ive bid both online and by phone with Kodner Galleries. They were great to deal with, extremely pleasant and helpful.

FAKE & FRAUD thats how i think about this company, the have offered in an online auction two etchings, i have bought them, hang them on my wall and decided to sell them two years later, so i have been to christies and sothebys to value them, but they both turned out to be no etchings at all !!!!! but just pages taken from an ( old ) book, so i wrote this KODNER company with these remarkable discovery, and ask for a refund you know what they say? sorry but you only have 30 days to ask for a refund, yes i know its in there terms & conditions but i had good faith in this company and it never came up with me to value them after i received them i thought i bought these items at a company that i was able to trust, when they say they sell me etchings, why should i have any doubt about that? so if you want to purchase anything with this company be very carefull because they sell items that are not what you think they should be, althought they tell you otherwise

Excellent auction venue. Gallery is very professional and items are described very accurately. Staff is extremely friendly.

A reputable auction house with many years in the business. To the dimwit who bought the Chinese coins and apparently doesnt understand how auctions work, I would say: do your research and dont think you are going to buy a $3000 lot for $100. When you screw up and do something stupid dont be all butthurt and blame the auction. Ive bought numerous lots here and I have never had a problem or seen any attempts to misrepresent items.

A friend alerted me about fake chinese merchandise being sold here. Buyer beware. It also looks like all of their positive reviews are from people who have never reviewed another business.

Prime auction place in south florida. Nice lots, great service.

This company is selling counterfeit chinese coins (and possibly other material) at their Estate Auction Company location. I bid on and won a few lots of what were purported to be old chinese coins. When I received them it was clear they were counterfeit. When confronted on this they absolve themselves of responsibility by intentionally being vague in their description. They continue to sell these counterfeit coins on a weekly basis with the confirmed knowledge that they are counterfeit. This is a felony.

Everyone at Kodner Galleries are professionals and it is great to deal with them.

Rude and snubby

Kind of nice...

Be sure to check on shipping prices BEFORE you purchase. They are outrageous!

Warning! Warning! Warning! Stay away! Dishonest scamming business practices and are using the system to their advantage. There is nothing honest about these people and hope you take my comments seriously.

They are the terrible people to do business with i talked to some body name Kevin and he is the rudest person i ever talked. I will not do business with them again.
