Another beautiful Dallas park with wide, excellent trails. Distance and historical markers to keep you in the know. Didnt encounter drinking water or restroom facilities on this trip. Great scenery both homes and nature.
The trails are well kept and diverse enough for either bicycles or hiking. Beyond the paved walkways are more rugged trails through the forested areas close to the river. Plentiful areas to sit and rest and various stations to perform more complex exercises along the way. There are several entrances where you may park and enter the trails. There are no charges for parking or entering the park which makes this one of the best recreational areas in Irving.
Great place to ride bikes. We bike and hike the park on a regular basis. Its well managed and has a very chill vibe.
Fun place to take a walk go for a run or ride bikes its also a really good fishing spot lots of gar bass and catfish!
Its a beautiful trail I love it and the people are nice most times
Long, flat, fast and not too crowded.
Smells very bad in some areas. Mosquito haven! Could have been better....
Part of the Campion trail that runs along the Elm Fork of the Trinity River. Not overcrowded like other parks in Dallas County
Good at morning time
Well maintained, nice park.
I felt safe, got to see beautiful spring time wildflowers, Indian paint brushes blue bonnets and the like. Off the chain!
Closed and flooded right now.
Beautiful park
Frist time visit here. Wide paved trail to allow enough space to allow enough room to pass for bicyclists. Great spot to breath in some fresh air and get away from the urban happenings.
They have about 22 miles of trail, along the Trinity river. The pavement is smooth and clean. There is some very pretty scenery, and theres special places to view the river along the trail. Theres a gun range near California Crossing, which is the sothernmost end of the trail, so dot worry if you hear a few muffled shots.
Lots of space and a generally a good place for outdoor sports, but grass is not well kept, lots of weed ground cover, dead dirt spots, potholes, and uneven ground in some areas. But not the worst option for fields
A nice place for people around the area to jog or bike on. There are public bathrooms, water fountains, and parks placed throughout the trail. You may also hear gunshots due to the nearby shooting range. You may also spot a couple of fishing spots to fish in, either in grass or in a bench. There is also mile markers telling you how far youve gone. There is also wildlife scattered in the area. Me and my friends have a party in the pavillions in the area. In short, it is a great place to exercise and relax.
Nice running trail near where I was staying on business in Irving TX.
Scenic walking trail, paved bike path, plenty of seating. In the city, but feels closer to nature
