Went for the first time before pandemic had a great time.....

Fun, great vibe, the perfect home for live music cause its like being in the living room with intimacy. The staff will take care of you and you should take care of them. RLs Blues Palace II is that that kinda jam.

You have not lived yet until youve experienced RLs. Omg...there is nothing like it. The Husband and I were in town on business. We live in Houston. I ran into a lady in a store and told her we were looking for a good spot to chill, dance and let loose, with an older crowd and good music! She told me to try RLs and I am SO GLAD we did! Its an older, unassuming building and it goes down in the inside! There had to be about 15 different parties going on. The band was AWESOME! Everyone is friendly and just down home good local folks, enjoying themselves. Its BYOB. We are planning another weekend trip soon...this time for leisure and with the main objective being another good time at RLs! GO-GO-GO! I promise you will not be disappointed! Leave your worries behind and get your happy back at RLs!

Quite the spot! Casual, clean and great music. A great place to relax and enjoy the crowd and the music. Watch out for the Hen Call.

My family and I always have a grand ole time when we come here. Never a dull moment. You can bring your own liquor and food. We had a party this past weekend and the manager Im not sure of her name but she had a bad blonde weave/wig and bad attitude announced the day of the event that if everyone was not at your party the tables could not be reserved. Mind you I had a party of 25 people coming from out of town and arrived to have no table or seat. She said you are supposed to receive a confirmation that explains all this to you but we never received it. I hope she looses all her dame edges. This is the only reason I gave the 1 star. She purposely started sitting people at our tables because she saw we were upset. They need to expand that dame place and clean the womens restroom up.

I absolutely had a great time at this spot. It is small n very crowded but the music, people and the atmosphere make for an amazing time. Its BYOB, liquor only and they sell you the set up of mixers. They also sell beer, frozen drinks and you can buy a bottle of wine for $8. The parking situation is a little sketchy but thats a whole new post. lol Go on a Saturday to experience the hen call. Afterwards grab some bbq at one of the trucks parked outside.

Its a nice,fun atmosphere for older adults to have fun its a good place to listen to music and interact with people. The band is great i love at the end of the night they do the hens and roosters dances. One piece of advice get there EARLY the seats fill up fast !

I thought it was a really great place mainly for people 30 and over no problems everybody was enjoying the music in the band and when the owner got up and sang it was going down its a must stop for anyone in the area

PricingOnsite parking is $5. $10 entrance fee. Its a BYOB . There set-ups are $12 for a bowl of ice an 3 sm cans of juice.The waitresses come by often, often trying to get u to buy more. They also serve daiquiris and margaritas incase u dont bring liquor. You may bring hard liquor only. Waitresses were very attentive with great customer service.OVERALL:Everyone we met from the parking attendant to the door lady taking the money to Security, waitresses. Everyone was so hospitable. This is a nice size hole in the wall. We went on Friday. They had a live band. The man seem to be 60 and up sitting on stools but when I tell you they can play those instruments and sing. They were great, u wont be disappointed. This spot is for the older and mature crowd. If you dont like old school, blues, r&b this isnt the place for you. Its located down the street from Fair Park state fair grounds. Its an old building, bathrooms are ok. I was informed by regular that the owner and his son sung at one point, they both were great. You wont be disappointed. Great music, great people, everyone just having a good time like back in the day. Im not a clubber but if I was, this would definitely be my spot.

I love the music, seeing people from all walks and journeys enjoy them selves. And they open at 7:30. I’m not sure how this can be corrected. I guess the owner would have to notify google

First time there, threw husband a birthday party. EVERYONE in our group, all 20 of us had a blast. The place is BYOB, except juices, which i think is better and cheaper than a normal spot. The music was great, we danced all night. The hen call is the funniest entertainment all night.

When I lived closer to Dallas I used to visit R Ls often. Great music and the folks are very friendly. The place really jumps on Saturday night and everyone seems to have a great time

The blues is alright I mean the blues palace if you have not been there you need to go and you will not wont to leave... it is an awesome place to go... good singing nice intelligent mens and womens..
