Have played Bear Creek 3 times in the last few month. The course is pretty good but the overall experience very weak. Tha staff morale seems poor as most have been either rude or indifferent. The carts are in terrible condition. A few carts I used had no working breaks. One had a GPS screen totally shattered. (Probably by a fed-up customer). The carts are dirty and unkeept. Especially with Covid-19 protocale carts should be washed and disinfected every use. I bring my own wipes to clean the carts and my own ice chest. (Would NEVER use their dirty ice chest)The practice range is a joke. THE WORST I have ever seen. Each time I was there they used the mats. Mats are in quotes because it is a VERY thin piece of outdoor carpet on CONCRETE! Not onlt uncomfortable but dangerous. Its a shame because with a little money and effort from management this could be a nice property.
Awful management company. They are your typical new golf course management thives. They hire gas station workers to run shops and are all about how many rounds they jam onto the course. Course conditions are embarrassing. Greens are always half dead and shaggy. The upper management is making a killing selling memberships and they are robbing the public blind. Beware: Every course they touch will turn into a public course with maximum daily rounds played. They have fired all their PGA professionals so there is nobody qualified to teach. Just read the other comments if you have any questions. Arcis is a fraud.
Arcis: your club at Ruby Hill is the only club open in the county. It is being over run and it is unsafe. Close the place down before someone gets deathly ill. It is called common sense
Prime Membership Holder and after getting it I like it. Wish some fine print for certain seasons in az were a bit more clear. Like when the free Breakfast/Lunch is available. Overall good deal if I can get in after overseeing.
BUYER BEWARE - ANY ARCIS AFFILLIATED PURCHASE WILL JUST ROB YOU OF SATISFACTION. COURSES ARE HORRIBLY MANAGED - THE MANAGEMENT OF ARCIS ARE CROOKS.DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE PURCHASE THEIR MEMBERSHIP!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS CHEATS.....GOLF CHEATS!!!!!
I am a Arcis Prime Member and over the last 45 days have called the corporate office numerous time to get a replacement card as my initial card is lost. Never a call back...but after reading some of the reviews, not surprised. Today, I left a message on an voicemail with someone in their legal department. Looking forward to learn how long it will take for a someone who might care to call back and fix my issue. GzzzzzzLouise!Update: Calling the Legal Department does work! I received a prompt call back, and in turn he contacted the regional manager of the club I support, and a card was mailed to me inside a week. Now, Arcis is back in my good graces.
I have your prime membership here in Arizona. Had some hiccups at first, now were okay. I will continue my prime membership. Good Day
Absolutely the worst business I have ever had to deal with. I booked a wedding at a venue they manage. I have made several calls and emails to multiple people and no response. They basically told me my venue will not be around for my wedding and have heard nothing on my refund or anything for that matter. Everyone stay away from them. DO NOT BOOK AN EVENT WITH THEM ! & If you are a member at their clubs good luck I would not give a dime to them.
Read Entire Post there is an update!!!I have never been treated so poorly as the marshal at Bear Creek treated me today. I paid for a round on the west course today. I knew it would be a little slow because it was Saturday but to wait 5-15 minutes on every Tee was outrageous. The first mistake was when the starter allowed a group of 5 below average players go out on a weekend. I stayed behind them on several holes but got fed up when the group in front of them was a full hole ahead. I called the pro shop from the 6th tee and asked them to send the marshal. When he arrived he didnt even stop to say anything to them instead he came straight to me. He proceeds to tell me that its because of a tournament and if I didnt like it go to the pro shop and talk to them. When I asked why they let a group of five go off on a weekend he said that is the course policy. If this is true it should be changed and someone with some clue should be given the job of running the place.I finished the 9 holes and saw the marshal on number 10 tee I pointed out that the group of 5 was now at least another hole behind. He refused to do anything about it and blew me off. The overall attitude I got was not one of someone that cared for the customer but instead he seemed annoyed that I was asking him to do his job. After this I had enough. I went in and got a refund for the 9 holes I didnt play. The course is in great shape and your grounds crew should be commended. It has come a long way in the two years I have played there but unfortunately I wont be back. The pro shop staff has always been great I have nothing to say against them. This comes down to one person that refused to do his job and treated a customer like dirt. DFW had many fine golf courses and I will be taking my money elsewhere.UPDATE... After I had this experience at Bear Creek I was contacted by someone at Arcis. They went way out of there way to resolve the issue. They welcomed me as a guest at one of their best courses to make up for what happened at Bear Creek. I had a great time and was treated great.
Pathetic ... any retail company would work hard to make your buying experience as good as possible ... make it golf and they become horses arcis. Got info from an employee on their golf card and proceeded to book a tee time at Fossil Creek. When I arrived at Fossil Creek I was informed I got bad info from from their employee, instead of an apology I get a lecture from a self-glorified retail clerk named Ben and jammed on price. I try to resolve it by calling the GM, Nick Edwards and unlike the finer retailers I dont even get a call back. I call their corporate office SVP, Jeff Levine and leave a message with his assistant who assures me he will call me and address the situation. Again not even a call. Too many good courses and Golf Now ... they will never get my money or a good word. My brother and I play a couple hundred rounds a year so just beside it being bad business … it just shows the management team has their heads completely up their arcis.
I used to work for this company in the accounting department. Huge lack of proper management and effective training.
