Babs was my tattoo artist and did a phenomenal job—this woman has so much talent, y’all!! She incorporated everything I wanted in my whale fluke to help commemorate my trip to Iceland. She walked me through the entire sterilization process to assure clean needles were being used. The shop was kept very clean, had lots of places to sit, and the staff was welcoming. Babs is an incredible artist!! I recommend her and Gold Dust to everyone I know.

I put a lot of research into getting a cover up done and Im happy I chose Moses Veliz at Gold Dust Tattoos & Fine Art. Moses is an incredible artist. He is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to his craft and I have complete trust in him which, is all you can ask for in a tattoo artist. This place is AWESOME! I just moved to the area and was looking for a new artist. All of the art is super easy to view from Instagram or the website so you can find an artist that has the style youre looking for. I worked with Zach and gave him almost no direction on what I wanted and he created something beautiful. The studio is so clean, the entire time I was there they were sanitizing and cleaning between customers. All of the artists are such genuine people and have fun talking to each other during the process. The after-care instructions are clear and easy to follow, if youre getting a first-time tattoo I can imagine this would be a GREAT place to do it. Overall 11/10. Ill be back!

I have never had a bad session with Char. She is always worth the wait. I have also seen work from the otber artists there and it is amazing! You cant go wrong getting a tattoo here.

I had Zach as my artist and he was absolutely amazing!! It was my first tattoo and he was super patient and nice and explained everything that was going to happen and how to take care of it afterwards. I didnt get a pic before he wrapped it up. But I LOVE it. He took my ideas and made them come alive. I drove 3 hours to get him to do my tattoo after lots of research and review reading. Yall. Go. To. Zach. At. Gold. Dust. Tattoo. Where do I start.... Everyone was so sweet! I took my oldest daughter to get her nostril pierced a d I got my nostril and septum pierced. Very professional, covid aware and practicing great safety protocol (took our Temps, limiting capacity, had us sanitize, masks, ect). The piercings were virtually painless and look amazing! I would highly recommend.

I’ve been getting tattooed by Babs for almost a year now and every piece I get from her she continues to amaze me with her talent. Everyone is always so kind and I can’t recommend Gold Dust enough! They also have great COVID safety measures in place.

I went here last Friday 7/17 to get my nipples pierced. So quick and painless. The piercer was very careful and told me every step that was being done. She waited till everything was set up before puncturing my nipples which was perfect. I enjoyed that she made sure I was comfortable before even attempting my piercings. The shop is great, employees were amazing and kind. A very low key vibe which I loved. They’re attention to Covid 19 is a plus, no overcrowding, checking temperatures, and making sure people were wearing masks. I’m definitely coming back for some tattoos and possibly another piercing. Also gave me great instructions and different ways on cleaning and treating my piercings.

I got my septum pierced 7-29-2020 by the woman whos name I can not spell so Im going to call her Ms. T.. She did a perfect job.. I still cant believe I got my septum done.. It is by far the easiest piercing especially by Ms. T..Thank you very much.. Have a good day.I just want to add that I am on day two after getting my septum done and being very much mindful not to hurt myself at allllllll...I understand every body is different.. I still have no swelling.. Others have posted videos say the 1st three days is the worst so I guess Ill wait for the the 3rd day.Truth be told, I am a nose picker and I am still able to do that..

Got a black/grey sunflower on my ankle through Matt. the price was really decent for the work done, he worked with me and was patient with my preference, and gave tips on how the tattoo could improve so i could get the best tattoo as possible. I have tattoo shops near me but I drove 2 hours to go to this one as the reviews were just glowing and my tattoo wasnt a specific or difficult style to do. Everyone there was so nice to me and amazing people to chat to. My tattoo turned out great, and needed minimal touch up. I would recommend this shop to anyone and everyone; tattoo virgins and veterans alike. 11/10

Was in Dallas for Thanksgiving. My 17 year old daughter wanted to get her belly button pierced. She googled places she could do this at and Gold Dust came up and had great reviews. We called and drove over. VERY professional, clean, cool place in a cool neighborhood. Was very efficient and quick. My daughter is afraid of needles and I think shes now cured!!

Came on a Thursday for an upper lobe piercing and was pleasantly surprised by their $30 Thursdays deal. The shop was really clean, and Tearanie was so lovely throughout the whole process. I was also in and out within 10 minutes, which was a huge plus.

Very clean. Very professional staff. They use new needles and have medical disposal. If getting a tattoo, go through the books and see the style of the different artists. Each has a different style. Realism seems to be the most difficult. Ask whoever you meet first at the desk about their art. Pay to have it drawn up on paper first. Take it home and think about it. Suggest modifications to make sure you have a shared vision of what the art will look like (including colors - vibrant vs. muted). The artists will refer you to others if they think someone will do a better job, so ask, and get what you want. You will be glad to have waited and taken the extra steps. Tattoos are FOREVER. Once you are ready and have followed the above, you cannot go wrong at Gold Dust Tattoos.

Got two medium sized tattoos done by Isaac, it was about 5 hours of work. Really enjoyed the experience - he listened to what I wanted to get done and took my input into account but still created something with his own style which is exactly how I wanted to get it done. The parlour is very nice and clean and everyone is super friendly. Highly recommended!

Like most people the first tattoo is something you give alot of thought about, being scared of the pain factor or like me terrified of needles. I wanted a tattoo I searched online around read reviews looked at work from the shops but this one stuck out to me. Then out of no where I said today is the day yes like most.... impulse dragged me here. Parking is a bit bad since its down a bussy strip. But me and my boyfriend walked in, immediately we were greeted with a warm welcome it was welcoming concidering how scared but determined I felt. We were asked questions, unfortunately we didnt make an appointment but after speaking to one of the 2 tattoo artists that where there working on their appointments, we were told we would be put on a waiting list. We patiently waited for about 3.5hrs and while waiting multiple people where turned away for the day some made appointments others went down the street after being recommended the shop I thought that was cool that they consider the customer rather than the business. But we waited until Zach came and spoke to us about what we were looking to get tattooed, he worked on the designs and delivered exactly what we wanted. He was very professional I saw his appointments tattoo as she was walking out and I knew he was who I wanted to tattoo me, my boyfriend didnt really care all he cared about was getting tattooed. I knew he was probably ready to go home after a long day, yet he remained nice patiently answering my dumb questions. I was scared he would rush it since it was almost closing time but he took his time and Im in love with my first tattoo. Im already looking forward to coming back and getting more done. THANKS ZACH FOR MAKING MY FIRST TATTOO THE BEST EXPERIENCE.

Ive been to many tattoo shops in the past. Gold dust is by far the nicest and most professional shop Ive been to. It feels like an art studio more than a tattoo shop. Very clean and beautiful art pieces throughout the studio. I had a beautiful piece done by Char on 3/4 of my left arm. I explained to her what I wanted and she went above and beyond creating a masterpiece. I get compliments everywhere I go. Char is a wonderful person. Shes very friendly and extremely humble. She makes the time go by so quickly by engaging in very interesting conversations. 5 stars isnt enough. Char deserves 10!!!

Went to get a tattoo from Joe & was impressed by the staff and the owner. Probably one of the best tattoo environments Ive been to in a while & Im looking forward to going for watercolor work. Char worked closely with Joe (newest addition) & now hes done 2 small tattoos on me and one on my mom (behind the ear). She handled it like a champ & Joe was extremely calm. TEARANIE is the best! My friend gets her tattoos done here, and was helping me find lip rings to fit my snakebites I had previously gotten done at M Street tattoos(which I DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE TO GET PIERCED THERE). I spoke to her last Friday in person about my experience with them, she pointed out to me they were uneven and done incorrectly, and if could come back on Monday she could definitely fix them like they should be. She was very sympathetic, and helped me out a lot. I was crushed that the people I previously went to screwed me over, and that my trust and experience with them left me not wanting anymore piercings. So I went back to see tearanie on Monday, and she did a fantastic job! She did not let me down!

Went in yesterday to get my bridge pierced and I was amazed by how professional my experience was, she took the time to explain what she was doing and made me very comfortable. Got a bad ass Bear from Roque (pronounced rocky). the place is very clean, fun atmosphere, movies playing to help pass the time (my tattoo was about 10hrs total). They get booked up quick so if you have bigger ideas dont expect to walk in and get it in the same day.

On 11/24 my son went to this shop to get a tattoo. He spoke with Issac and was quoted 400-500 bucks for his tattoo. When he returned on 12/28 he was told his balance would be 400 bucks after we had already paid 230 bucks. When I asked why the price changed he and the manager told me “things change”. As tattoo artist it’s their right to charge what they want but don’t tell me one price send me home and when I come to have it completed quote me a “things change” price. That is bad business and this place has horrible business practices and customer services. I say buyer beware and whatever they initially charge you get it in writing.

I went here I few weeks ago because I was worried about a piercing I had healing. Tirany was so sweet and kind! Atmosphere was cool calm and open for ALL as a black woman I be skeptical now days if people are prejudice or racist and they had a big sign saying if youre racist homophobic judgmental any of that to come back when you were no longer those things I appreciated that and felt welcomed to be there!!!

Brandon Stringer has been working on my back for months, he has put his heart, soul, and mind into creating this dreamland of oceans and sunsets with an incredible rainbow and blue birds, not to mention the arrangement of assorted flowers up the back of my neck♡ I wouldnt recommend another shop on Greenville Ave. to do a better job! Another note, the entire staff are the most friendly bunch of artists I have encountered in a single shop! Couldnt be happier with this location!
