Sheridan Park

Beautiful paths to walk, can walk right on the beach, and watch the fierce waves! My experience was peaceful and romantic around noonish and got some amazing photos. Plus learned about beach glass and gained a new hobby thanks to another couple that was there. Which was surprising, for depending on where u go. Its pretty secluded and a huge beach. I definitely will be returning and love ir there every time! Many things dir children to do as well, jungle gyms, swings, water park, free arxhary targets, and much more, but most importantly its FREE fun, not including water park, which due to covid-19 all waterparks in Milwaukee co are shut downuntil furher notice.

We took a short and curvy trail to get to the water, where there were cool piers along the beach that you can walk all the way into the lake - makes good pictures! The lake is beautiful!

Sheridan Park is listed on several lists as one of the best places to watch the sunrise on Milwaukee. Didnt disappoint! The sunrise was absolutely stunning and there was plenty of street parking.

Very relaxing for picnics or walks or other exercise. The pool was shut down so it was very quiet. They have a basketball court and tennis court. Its obviously not the fanciest Park but its a nice relaxing place. I met there too have a family discussion about my daughter so the only thing I can say is benches. You need to put benches in for people.

Nice big park, lots of paths for biking and walking. Its right on Lake Michigan so to the north there are some BEAUTIFUL views of the lake!

Great location between two more popular lakefront parks (Southshore and Grant, connected to both via the Oak Leaf Trail) with fantastic views, lake access, and plenty of open and shaded spaces. The park is well maintained and usually quite clean. My only complaint is all the Norms and Nancys who dont leash their dogs.

Ive been comming to Sheridan for a sunrise for 40 yrs. I cant think of a better way to start my Day of birth can you? A wonderful park and a nice beach.

The park is nice and there are friendly people, a nice view too! But it lost stars because of the private property along the oak leef trail and the Old guys that sit out and watch for people that go there. Also Lack of trash cans along that trail.

Spent very little time but it has a nice view of lake michigan.

Pretty awesome place to chill for the 4th of July. It was also very easy to find parking.

Very clean and nice large park. There is a pool, spots to rent for parties. The playground looks fun and there are trails for hiking, biking and just strolling. One paved trail leads down to the lakefront. This Sandy spot has wave breaks and spots for amazing photos.

Sheridan Park is among my favorite places to watch the spring bird migration. The variety of warblers and other strong birds that are easily seen is fantastic! Heres a golden-winged warbler I watched yesterday.

Nice park on Cudahys lake side. Pool/ water slide. Kiddy park picnic sites when not in Covid-19 safe guards. I bicycle through here often on the Oak Leaf Trail.

Nice walking path, walkway to the lake, playgrounds, field, and pond. Very close for us, so were enjoy going there when its warm out.

Sheridan is one of my favorote places to go with friends. Whether or not we play in the park area. (Yes highschoolers play at the park.) Or I wacth my friends play basket ball, I join them, we walk down by the lake or we just sit still and talk. Its always fun. Love taking photos at Sheridan. By the lake, by the trees. Anywhere.

This place is beautiful!

We went to the public pool. Very nice pool, at its very deepest 9 and had two fun water slides. Children must pass a basic test (swimming with front stroke for about 30 or 40 ft and back) to get to the deeper water and the slides. Nice stuff in the shallows for people to do, a big mushroom pouring water out like a liquid wall. Only 5 bucks for over 12, 4 for younger (pretty sure, we were all full price so may be off)

Really nice pathway, wide sidewalk (perfect for wheelchair or aide scooter and lots of benches to sit and look out at the lake, also tons of off beat paths (very cool) and if you keep walking youll pass a pond with people of all ages are fishing and beyond the pond is the water park. Its a great area, get out and see for yourself, youll be glad you did

Beautiful park in Wi. With lots of trees, where we had our first family reunion since our parents died. Yes, it can get up to 100 in the summer in Wi., although not frequently. That day was about 82 degrees. Did you know that Wi. Has the WORLDS LARGEST WATER SLIDE PARKS! IN THE DELLS.??

Its nothing special.just a small playground.the water slides look really cool but the pool is closed.

This is a great place to enjoy a walk along the lakefront. You can see the Milwaukee skyline and you get an unobstructed view of Lake Michigan. I really enjoyed my time at the park!

I live right around the corner and absolutely love walking over there with my dog. The view is phenomenal! Doesnt get much better than this.

During the day when nice can be busy by playground, but theres a road down to beach, a pond for fishing, and bike trail

Amazing views - and a quick steep walk down to multiple lake access beaches and some of the most clear Great Lakes water Ive ever seen! Gorgeous walk in the Oak Leaf Trail!

Thought we would try one more year and see if fireworks improved, and once again very disappointed! The crowd we were sitting by was mad and not understanding. Some of us just watched st Francis..next year for sure going somewhere else ..

When I was younger they served hot dogs and hamburgers and they no longer serve them. Due to that I lost my love for Sharidan Pool the quality and standard has gone down.

Nice big pool with an additional baby pool for the little ones. The Life Guards are well trained and require the young kids through young adults to pass a swimming test before allowing them in the deep end of the pool where the diving boards are. Theres a snack area for refreshments or you can bring your own stuff.

Great park with great fields, only problem is that they require a permit to use.

A wonderful park with, I believe, the highest bluffs and viewpoint on lake Michigan. A great place to quietly take a walk or run. The Milwaukee county park system has a memorial tree program and for a fee a tree can be planted in honor of a loved one. How wonderfully civilized. My deceased girlfriend has such a tree. Also adjoins Warnimont park for a little pitch and putt golf.

I went to Sheridan Park on the fourth of July for the fireworks and had a terrific time. They not only had a really good display but you can see and hear Saint Francis display as well, so it was twice as nice.... Lol There was live music that was pretty damn good, food tents, beer tents and porta pottys for when nature calls.

Lots of special features about this park. There is a fishing pond, but it’s also on Lake Michigan. There are abandoned piers up and down Lake Michigan where people fish and hang out. There is a beautiful bike trail that runs through here and a path that leads down to the lakefront. You will find plenty of picnicking areas. There is also a hall there that might be for rent? I’ve never seen the pool open, which is sad. The pool looks awesome. Hopefully it will be open this year. There are tennis courts there as well.

Its one of the many Lake Michigan coastal parks... access to the shore and walking or biking paths, despite underfunded park system.
