The play structure is imaginative. And brand NEW! My kids loved all the rope obstacles, the world spinning globe like structure, and the large swing. I loved the water views of the bay, the plentiful parking.I also appreciate Shoreline on the bayside is closed. there is much more pedestrian traffic, its easy to pop over to the beach.I dont love the lack of shade structures, but I hear the city might be putting forth a bond to get funding for some shade structures in the future. A girl can dream.

Free parking. Easy access to beach. Only $20 cabana rental from the minute you arrive until 6 pm. There was no trash on the shore either.

The city has done a lot to fix this area up. We were there for the food truck festival last. Good food, live music. Police do excellent job keeping it a family atmosphere

Good gathering place to meet with Friends the Ocean so close, you can go swimming and also a good place to exercise, run, jog, even dance..I Love it!!

Beautiful views of the Corpus Christi Bay. Lots of places to seat and enjoy. Playground is nice for kids, but the ground is reapping and needs to be repair. Has basketball court. Great place to walk, ride bikes or scooters.

Oh this park was amazing. I believe there was a lot of parking spots so its not an issue, since they renovated the area, I say it looks better. It looked better before but they added more activities for kids to do. The cool grassy lawn is still there. It really looks like a nice park in the city near the bay.

Hospitality was awesome..plus the lead manager was soooo welcoming thank God we had San Antonio guest visiting ur establishment folks!!

Great park for the kids only thing was they were charging $10 to park cause the parking lot was full.

First time to the park. I see why people complain. It is a little small but my dog was able to play with 3 other Big dogs and had no problems getting tired. I like the gravel and fake grass idea, it’s low maintenance. Seems like it’s raked at least once a day and the trash bins were empty. The view is beautiful with all the palm trees planted. I feel silly for waiting this long! We will be back as often as time will allow us. Charlie had a blast. It would be nice if there was more, like a slash pad for dogs I think would be awesome. There is room to expand if the city really wanted to. I think a dog park is exactly what downtown needed no matter the side.

This is a great park for toddlers and teens! My kids enjoy running, sliding, climbing and playing at the playground.

Took the more meters for a quick day at the beach. Was great... Not too crowded

They have water fountains, work out area shaded area however bring chairs no place to BBQ no tables. The city is not done with building this park yet. Great new little park for kids. Go swim and then go to the park!! Bring a picnic.

The park playground area is gone. Only baby swings nearby as construction has been set up in the area. Directly across park is public beach which was easily accessible is now harder to get to. We were disappointed bc our stay was booked specifically across street for access to playground and beach.

Great park in picturesque downtown Corpus Christi along the bayfront. It has picnic tables and a playground for the kids. The beach is just across the street if you want to walk in the sand or play in the water. This park acts as the finish line and party venue for the Annual Beach to Bay Relay where thousands of people pack it to celebrate. Its a good place to take your kids to burn off some energy if youre downtown.

Great playground for the little ones, well maintained, challenging climbing frames, swings slides and bouncy ground to fall on.

Excellent traffic free green space in city downtown. Plenty of walking and running space, basketball courts, dog park, and kids playgrounds.

Well you could play full-court here if the dummies at parks and recs wouldnt have mounted the goals on the wrong spots.

They have a nice new park for the kids. They are not finished building around it. It will be very nice when its finished.

The playground is there. But theres all kinds of events that take place here. One huge one being buc days. A huge event we go to every year as a family, always a blast
