This theatre is great to go and unwind after a busy day. The establishment is always clean to my liking. Friendly staff is always an ace in my book. I only post great reviews to businesses that deserve it.
I recently went to a private showing and it was so fun. You could invite family or friends, up to 30 people. Everyone working was super clean too. The seats were clean and smelled nice. They have hand sanitizer everywhere and they spaced out everything. Ill definitely go again.
This is an okay place to watch a movie. Staff needs better customer service but them being teenagers i could not expect anything but a no care attitude.Since Im visually impaired most theaters have audio description headphones. When asked for some their answer was oh they are not charged. People usually call us ahead of time so they can reserve them. Well being that it was a on the spot notice we did not call.So I spent money on a movie not knowing what was happening and had to wait until the end for my friend to tell me everything so the movie made sense.Would not and have not been back since.
Clean and simple. The menu is shorter but still satisfying. Try the touchless drink dispensers!
Bad. Bad. Bad! The AC doesn’t WORK !Came to enjoy a movie at the AMC in Room theater Number 4, the air conditioner was not Working. What’s Worse is when I made a complaint to the manager about the A.C. Not Working, I asked her if the air conditioning tends to act up she replied with, “Yes, every once in a while it acts up, Old A.C. Units.” Then she smiled. My complaint, if they already knew that the A.C. doesn’t always work, then Why, then Why, would they still sell the tickets? And Why not let customers know ahead of time about this before they purchase the tickets, buy the popcorn, etc. and sit down just to find out the AIR CONDITIONER Doesn’t Work ? ? ? ! ! ! Not Cool! And I mean that Literally... SMH.️
This place is pretty pricey. In the time of covid-19, they are doing a good job of keeping things regulated. If the very large theater the restroom has many stalls, so youre not waiting forever, even in a crowd
Seats were wet and the room smelt mildewey. Although the popcorn was fresh and the bar drinks were prettty loaded.
They are doing a great job at distancing people in the theater. Felt good to watch a movie and forget about all that is going on outside of the theater for a short while.
Sad! We only went because I received a gift card to AMC theater for Christmas. We walked in and were disgusted at the mess on the floor and concession stand. After having a much publicized rodent problem, there was popcorn all over the floor. There were dirty dishes in the food prep area and the concession worker kept touching his hair. The 9 p.m. movie didnt start time because they were cleaning the theater. When we were allowed to go in, no lights were turned on. Theater patrons were using cellphone flashlights to find their seats. We sat in the dark for nearly fifteen minutes before movie trailers even began rolling. After the movie ended, the lights still didnt come on and on e again we had to use cellphone flashlights to safely exit our seats. We wont be returning.
This is a solid theater. Prices are great, concessions gets a little backed up every once in a while, usually clean-ish, Ice machines are frequently out/low. The seats are not luxurious, but they dont suck. The D-Box seats are awesome - very comfortable - just pricier, and not many, only in a few theaters. I go here all the time, and I am happy with it!
Not a bad movie theater, overall its okay!
Very nice place, clean, good parking and night lighting. Hotels & restaurants close by. Restrooms are clean & accessible. The seating is awesome. Snack prices are reasonable. Great place to see a movie.
Sticky floors, comfortable seats mostly. My toddler couldnt sit comfortably because her weight (40lbs) was not enough to keep the seat unfolded. I usually try and avoid this theatre, but they seem to be upgrading.
It always makes me sad to come back to this place because I was manager would it first open as Tinseltown and its other owners. Its like seeing your favorite actor all old and beating up head financially broke. That being said it still has movies that the other theaters do not have. Its not a bad place and it has survived a lot.The bat concessions have been shut down you can tell where there used to be an ice cream parlor and where there was once an arcade it is now a bar which I find to be a very dubious decision. But its got the nice soda machines and popcorn is still good and the price is very cheap it just isnt what it was and its Glory Days
This is definitely Not the crown jewel of AMC. Waiting at the concession and its our turn and the attendant just leaves. Soda is all over the floor near the machines. You pay almost six bucks to fill your own. I bought the tickets online which was easy and prices were very reasonable, but the seating is clearly work out. The cushions were hard and the seats very low. The reclining feature of the seats had one position, very far back and indeed sitting back was the only thing keeping you from sliding off the front of the seat. They evidently dont check the floors between shows. Our shoes stuck to the floor. My husband also said the mens room was a mess, although the womens was clean.Basically, this is an older theater that needs a bit of an overhaul. The movie and sounds was good in our theater, but not a place we go back to.
Great movie prices but the wait for the food/snacks was a bit ridiculous. Seats in the theater were not very comfy.
They were not impressively clean. The restrooms could use an update or a good hard clean. They do serve alcoholic beverages. I didnt see that they had the serve at seat feature like most of their other franchises do. The oven was broken when we did go. Clearly I am out of the loop because you have to pay to be a reward member, to earn points and get free refills on popcorn. We honestly dont go to the movies enough to make it worth the 15 dollars. I did enjoy the movie and the seat were okay.
We were there last weekend. We were visiting from out of town. The inside was clean. The line was long at concession stand. The only food they had was popcorn and something in a white box in a heater. No hot dogs were cooking or nachos being made. The menu wasnt up so I didnt know what they offered. The theater was fine didnt notice it being dirty. At the end of the film it started glitching. It would be nice if you could go to the bathroom before you got food. But its on the other side of the ticket stand. I wish the seat reclined. I wish wed gone somewhere else but it was close to the hotel.
Movies is a favorite past time. Me and my kids love the movies. Snacks and drinks WAY over priced. Nice environment. Could use better customer skills training. But good staff overall. Would-be 5 stars but sometimes their ice machines are out and the food stations and floors can be very dirty.
Great friends and a solid, if somewhat confusing movie.
Very nice just need a little extra cleaning! Workers very pleasant and the oven was working!
When the doors finally opened at 1145 the girl that unlocked the door practically slammed the door in another customers face. When we get to the counter to order overpriced popcorn and a drink the cashier just happened to be the manager! Very rude, no smile, zero customer service.
Wouldnt let me refill my drink after my movie, pretty dumb way to lose a customer... visit all the time from central texas. Location itself was great, price was average, food was good.
Nice enough, but pretty dirty. The men’s room was horrible. And I reported to the ticket taker that the men’s room was out of toilet paper. He grabbed for something, I assumed to call it in to management. Two hours later, after the movie, the only change was that the men’s room was even more filthy.Use the bathroom before you go there and hold it until you leave!
Pretty good overall. To me the screen in Theatre 13 is a bit too dark. And, in 13, on the right side of the screen are two marks-- like upside down horse shoes. I noticed them during the previews before Captain Marvel, then, couldnt stop looking at the damn things. Annoying as hell.Theater 12 is better. The cleaning could use a little more pep though. There was (what looked like) an entire bucket of popcorn on the left stairs of theater 12 before Captain Marvel started-- it was already there --and, it was there after the movie ended. Im talking a huge mound of popcorn. On the stairs. For hours. Huh? Nobody noticed it? Really? I could see that huge mess from my freaking house!
Drove thru there and kept on goin because it looked COMPLETELY abandoned. Thought was a dollar movie theatre based on how loomed visually do to saw recent posters. Could not get it maybe just a bit early but again front booth area half tore up and empty and the WHOLE place looks ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Clothes around the outside from what appears to be where homeless people are just throwing there clothes and No ONE is picking up ANYTHING. Just in complete awe that is OPEN because CNT see how its making money and totally in shock ia actually a functioning AMC THEATER IF YOU WANT TO CALL IT THAT????!!
Came to a 12 noon movie on Saturday and the doors were locked until 11:30am. After that, the concession stand still hadnt been open. Once the one man behind the counter started taking orders, we tried to order items other than popcorn and he told us that nothing else would be ready until later. AFTER THAT, we got to the theater and the movie wasnt playing on the screen, only the sound. That took an extra 30 mins to fix. Overall, just not a pleasant experience this time.
After all the news coverage, we decided to give AMC another chance, we where gonna see Godzilla, we got our concession items and head for the theater. The young man taken the tickets let us know it was a little warm in the theatre. It was more than warm it was incredibly hot, so we asked how long before the AC would be on, he informed us that they where waiting on parts. Shouldnt expect for guest to sit in a hot theater.
This was by far one of the worst experiences I ever had. Trying to get snacks before the movie was so disorganized, if you order cooked food like hot dogs or anything other than popcorn and drinks and candy you had to pick it up in second line. Then they just call out food type and you have to hope its yours or assume its yours. Twenty minutes some people waited, which is way too long. A number system would have been better but still too much time. If you want to see previews you better get there earlier then normal. I suggest you eat before you go. Two thumbs down for service and set up.
The seats are comfortable, the restrooms are clean, and the A/C is never extremely hot, or extremely cold. However, the concession lines can get horribly long. They could use ushers as well, because some people can be really roudy, or have the bright idea of bringing babies into the theater.
Its really good to be back
The Concession Staff were Rude?
Good movies and great prices if you dont mind regular seating not reclining seats I enjoyed watching 1914 there with my sister
Theater of the old times. Uncomfortable seating, dirty sticky carpets, unpleasant experience. Deserves a zero star. I am surprised it is still open.
Ticket line was slow. it was about 8 deep with only one person in the sales booth. Having the option to select seating slowed the purchase process.
Nice place for weekends.
No one picks up trash between showings. The theater was super hot. And the hallways smelled like pee.
This place was absolutely dirty, the people were very rude, we tried going to see Annabelle Comes Home and we were all of age for the Rated R movie, we proceeded to buy tickets and buy snacks just to be declined of the movie for one of us not having our IDs. There were four of us and we were all of age and wouldn’t let us enter unless all of us had our IDs. Keep in mind they asked us for identification AFTER we purchased the tickets and snacks. We took our business else where, where they didn’t even bother asking for ID.
If I could I would give it zero stars! Bought tickets on line for frozen 2. Check in went well, no problem with that, the attendant scanned the tickets on my phone and told us to go to theater 12. The whole movie was blurry, I had to get up 3 times to ask the attendant to have somebody fix it. The third time I got up my seat and asked to talk to someone...finally a manager showed up,! she walked with me to the theater 12, she looked at the screen for a minute and said that it wasn’t that bad, then she left. I had nausea the whole time and a huge headache caused by the poor vision and blurriness. I won’t come back, they will never have my business again!
Im disabled from a stroke using a cane. The distance walking to theater 13 was too much for me. We asked for help and a gentleman named Austin, 19 years old, walked next to me all the way with a stool. He stopped periodically so I could sit and rest. We chatted along the way. What a nice, kind gentleman he was. I truly appreciated his effort and kindness. Thank you for a wonderful experience
Please take out the trash! How hard is it to empty out the trash cans? We have been to this theater twice and both times, after exiting the movie, the trash cans are full and overflowing. Not one trash can. All the trash cans. We always pick up our trash and take it out. Where are we supposed to put it? We end up carrying it all the way to the lobby to throw it away with all the employees just standing outside watching. The theater would not be so bad if management would keep up with the cleanliness of the place. The movie experience was not bad. The movie screens were big and bright with comfortable seats. I just dont like that it seems like the staff and management feel no pride for their workplace. Have a few people walking around picking up trash off the floor and please, empty the trash cans. Its awful seeing all the trash overflowing to the carpet.
Love tha fact that is movie theater is the only one in the area that shows movies in Spanish
Great food selection, but lobby is pretty dark.
Went on a Sunday, still early in the day but the floors near concession were very sticky, no ice in machines & the popcorn was not fresh. You can tell the theaters have been remodeled but those new chairs are uncomfortable.
The seating is comfortable. The theater temperatures are always appropriate. The building is kept clean.
This theater is horrible. We got there 30 minutes before our movie and the line to get snacks was full. No big deal as weve got time and usually snack lines move pretty quickly... so I thought. 15 minutes in line and we barely moved. Waited another 5 minutes and determined there was no way we would get through the line and into the movie on time, so we left the line. Got seated... our seats were destroyed. There were tears in all 3 seats we were sitting in and they kept scratching and pinching at our legs. 3/4 way through the previews, I decided to try the concession stand again... still a full line, not moving. This place is seriously understaffed and needs some updating.
Messy movie theater with nobody cleaning it up and expensive food prices
I will never go to this theater again! It was filthy to start, popcorn and butter all over the counters where the register are. The staff was slow and they seemed to be in need of restocking everything, including the coke machines. I had to try all four machines just to get a cherry coke which is supposed to be available in all of the soda machines. The restrooms where gross...basically the whole place was dirty! Inside the theater there was a mother with a baby at an 8:30 pm showing...so I had to listen to this ladys baby making noises with no consideration for everyone around her trying to watch the movie. I could go on and on about how horrible this theater was. They need better management...period! I should have taken photos of the filth to post but I didnt think about it at the time.
Smelly, freezing cold movie theater. With very overpriced concessions. Movie prices are good, but I was uncomfortable the whole time, the seats are uncomfortable too.
Ive always enjoyed having movie night with my ladies. Only downfall that has happened more than once, is HOT in the theater. NO AC. Your employee should let you know if there is problems in the theater when buying your tickets. Ill continue to support AMC, just please fix ACs.
My seat k8 in movie theater 10 was broken. The moment you sat, you flew back instantly. Like the spring was out. I couldn’t get up out of it. Luckily the theater was empty besides one family who brought kids under 10 to a horror paranormal movie that was rated R! I couldn’t even enjoy the movie. Their kids were talking and laughing loudly then the mom was telling them to be quiet loudly then their cell phones would go off. Asked to move to a different time of the movie and staff just stood there for a while which was fine for a bit. Then back at it. I still can’t believe they allowed little kids to horror movie. Will never go back no matter how close it is. I rather pay more and drive across town to Alamo drafthouse. They don’t allow kids to rated R movies.
This was by far the worst experience I have ever been through at a movie theater. My children were down for the holidays from college and we went to this theater. First the self service ticket booth was out of paper and never replaced then the ice machines from the soda machine was over flowing causing the floors to be soaked with no caution signs in sight to alert you to take caution. So I slipped and fell while a ticket guy witnessed and not one time did he offer his assistance. My daughter helped then I told the ticket guy that I slipped and there was no sign that I thought he should put one. As he went went to correct the problem I asked for his name and he refused to give it to me. I went to file an incident report Making me miss the first half of my movie. I wasn’t even offered a refund. And I have yet to hear from someone regarding the incident.
The theater was clean and appealing. I used the ticket kiosk inside for quick retrieval of my tickets that I purchased online. Concessions were reasonable, though not the most affordable Ive seen. Staff was friendly and helpful, explaining the combo meals and options. I went with a Kids Pack. I really enjoyed the seats and how much they reclined. My favorite option was reserved seating online, so I know exactly where Ill sit. Picture was bright and sound was immersive. I plan on coming back!
My family and I purchased tickets one Saturday evening to the movie “Bad Boys For Life.” My family consisting of my Father, Mother, and little brother (aged 4) purchased the tickets without any warning that my little brother would not be able to enter the theatre as the movie was rated r and he didn’t meet the age requirement (age 6 and up) With our tickets, we walked up to the ticketmaster to have them split and carry on to our movie, to our disappointed surprise, the ticketmaster explains the amc “policy” of my little brother not being able to enter the movie theatre to watch the movie. We explained to him that we had no warning from any cashiers and after minutes of arguing we requested a supervisor. JASON, the supervisor who was the main problem and the reason for this one star that should be zero, came out & explained the same thing the ticketmaster did. He offered to compensate the troubles of my family by giving us refund and a “FREE ONE TICKET PASS”..or so we thought. Disappointed, we took the refund and the “free ticket pass” & returned home. (We had earlier explained to both the ticketmaster and Jason that we were not from the area) What Jason did was take advantage of this information and CHARGE MY FAMILY the one “free ticket pass.” The behavior we encountered from this amc’s entire staff was extremely unprofessional, pathetic, and extremely disappointing. Not only should the pass have been not been charged, it should have been 4 passes as my family, who went through this terrible service, consisted of 4 people ! If this is read by employees and or higher ranking authority who doesn’t understand what i just wrote. I am not concerned as i will be making some calls and completely boycotting this AMC. Extremely dissapointed from this attempt to humiliate and mock my family.
There’s a good reason why prices have dropped, went in to go see Godzilla. Good thing we ate before coming in, the line at the concession stand was packed with only two cashiers checking people out. Fair enough they had other staff members busy making the food. Skipped the popcorn, and went into our theater which was a bit warm first walking in. The movie starts, and as time passed it got unbelievably hot. Only reason I didn’t leave was because the movie was pretty damn good. Once it was over I overheard a few customers complaining to staff members about the lack of AC and heat within the theater, but it did not seem like they where too concerned with it. Sadly, the lack of care that management have towards this building or to their customers show.
Great movie theater.
No matter how many times they change the name, this theater is horrible. The a/c was broken in our movie, so it was hot! The popcorn was burnt, the waters were warm, and the concession service was miserable. Im not giving this theater another chance again.
Pros: Free refills on any size drinks.Matinee prices very reasonable.Theater was super cold.Cons:Movie theater screens were dirty. Visible steak marks distorted the viewing quality.Theater had a musty odor.Seats dont lock into place and reclines back automatically.
Very nice people and great prices
The movie(the grudge)was not scream scary but I guess, the popcorn was ok, oven wasnt working on a Saturday wut the but ok
Theatre is good, however it is dirty inside and out. Does not appear to be cleaned very often. Trash bins are overflowing with trash popcorn on all floors even out in hallways, bathrooms are filthy. This used to be a very nice and comfortable place to watch a movie. It is unfortunate it has taken a turn for the worst.
This is the better cinema to visit as theres always room to sit when the other cinema gets packed immediately. Theres great snack to purchase and beverages of almost any kind if youre thirsty. Could use a little more cleaning as there is always a mess in the lobby but the surround sound us awesome and the chairs are comfortable. Friendly and fast service so I was in my seat, which I purchased via internet. All in all I like coming here since EVERYBODY goes to the other cinema. Good job guys!!
Wife and I had a very nice experience. Plenty of selections. Friendly staff. Will definitely come back.
Saw a awesome but i dont remember what it was it 5 months ago but i love going to amc
The place was a complete pig pen. Disgusting looking concession at the entrance. Popcorn everywhere on the floor, none of the slush machines were working but full of syrup. The soda machines had no ice. Wet floor signs up the entire time I was there because no one wanted to clean the spilt drinks on the floor. I wish the Health department would make you clean this place up. Just bc its on the Citys westside doesnt mean you have to let it go downhill.
This was the filthiest movie theater we have ever been to. There was popcorn and trash all over the floor at 4:45 in the afternoon on a Thursday. All of the trash cans were overflowing. There was dried up cheese sauce around the tops of the trash cans. There was dust and cob webs all around the soda fountains like they hadnt been cleaned in months. And the carpets smelled terrible. If I could give negative stars I would. We will never be back. I am only giving one star because I couldnt post this review otherwise.
This place looked really good but then they said that you cant get free refills on popcorn. Where Im from thats basically an insult after having to pay almost 20$ for one thing of popcorn it should be free
Nice and clean. Sound was way too loud on ads, it was cold in the theater, no small popcorn.
A lot cleaner than it used to be! Very affordable compared to the other theaters.
Great experience once again! Total underestimated joint, I can definitely see myself returning time and time again!
I would never go back to this theater. They aren’t very friendly and there is this nasty smell and when my husband and I got out of the theater we could still smell that nasty smell the entire time we were out. Something must have spilled and they didn’t clean it up cause it was from the bottom of my shoes. Also the arm of the seat was ripped up and the chairs aren’t so comfy. They honestly need an update and start cleaning up whatever that smell is.
Went to see 1:45 pm showing of Alladin with Hubby and 4 kids last Saturday . Purchased tickets online. No problems. Great prices. Spent 50 bucks at concession stand. Cashier was friendly. As soon as we walked into theater 15 the heat slapped us in the face like a wet Humid rag. It was packed and HOT inside . Went to let the ticket taker know and all he said was the door was propped open to let air in from the hallway. Really? The seats were all torn and broken...sat thru the movie all sweaty and uncomfortable. The Only reason we stayed was because we had spent So much on food and the movie was actually very good. Never ever going back again. Would rather pay extra and go to Century theater to be more comfortable. Get your seats fixed people !!!
It would be nice if they posted ticket prices on their website. I did not want to pay the convenience fee of pre-purchase and they also dont allow to pre-purchase student ticket price.
If you are not a Premiere member, you wait in the concession line until ALL Premiere members have been helped. My husband and I waited in line over 30 minutes and saw Premiere members come after us and receive help while we watched. There should be a better way to help customers. We dont have AMC in our city, so as visitors it sucked to be at the theater 45 minutes early and spend 30 minutes waiting for popcorn.
We bought tickets online and when we arrived the staff had cleared everyone out of the building because of a fire alarm - after the fire department had cleared the building and deemed it safe to reenter the staff cancelled all the showings for that day and told customers to cancel purchases with their bank. Very disappointed.
I will start out with saying it was warm in here. It was a packed room for Avengers, so they should have turned the ac down, I sweated the whole movie. I know this isnt a new theater and have been here before, but those seats do nothing for a bad back. After 3 hrs of moving around to be comfortable I was ready to walk around. Id say its time for updates. The movie itself was great!!
Why is there never AC on at this theater?? It always smells musty! When you walk in from outside you shouldn’t have to walk into heat? This is every time we came. We will be going to only Alamo going forward.
Wonderful seating with recliners that are comfortable. Great sound system. I have to drive about 40 minutes to get here, but it is worth it when it makes the viewing experience that much better. The matinee price was great, $6.50 for a 3d film. The concession lines were long and prices high. Keep the lines in mind and show up a little early if you plan to get food or drinks.
Great sound but needs new seats
The volume of the movie is too loud. You complain about the loudness and nobody does nothing about it.
Took my babe to watch Lion King along with 15 of us.. its was a great movie and a great time nice they have drinks
Popcorn made us sick! The theaters are freezing so bring a jacket. Overall pretty clean and has good showings
A nice place, great service and products
Great theater, typical never packed.
Literally no people
Great Service!!! Short in staff but they work hard so that you can enjoy your movie of choice.
Price was good. Bought sodas and they were out.. Crazy. But they couldnt refund because the mgr was gone.
No one taking tickets, just walked in.. 10min past start time and lights are still on, no trailers have started. Does anyone work here?
Short on staff, a/c not working in some theaters, sad atmosphere
No recliner, movie was delayed with no update from staff, just frustrating
Screen had large scratches the audio bad. The dialogue was coming out the far left side it was annoying
Love going here, its a perfect location for me as a sailor to go to walmart then unwind and see a movie.
Went to see Aladdin at 8:30 tonight. The movie started and within the first 2 minutes the movie faded black while the audio still played. It was a black screen for several minutes while someone had to go find an employee to get it fixed. Meanwhile we are all just sitting in a pitch black theater listening to the audio with no visual. When they finally got it back on they restarted the movie. I figured we’d maybe get a coupon or voucher for our next visit but we didn’t. Not even an apology when exiting the theater. Other than that the movie was a great movie once everything was fixed.
Theater 4 was clean. I think this is the only one seats werent torn..
Cheap tickets, movie was good.
Werent told when buying tickets that a.c wasnt working in that movie or when purching popcorn and coke..were told as we were gonna enter that movie what a joke..and concession was horrible how they have remained open is beyond me
