Its been several months since I attended a wedding here, but could not hold out any longer and not write a review. Ive been to several weddings since at different venues and need to review I saw/ thought about the art center.I have always thought this was a beautiful place to get married. It is, if more effort, care, thought, was given to things.1. Several light bulbs out.... many, which made it difficult to see.2. Restroom was not clean, no paper towels, dirty floor.3. Workers helping set up for the wedding were dressed as if they had been at the park, not professional at all.4. The brides room, where pics were taken as she and her bridesmaids were getting ready was not nice, not comfy, not pretty, ......in fact it looked horrible in the pics.I know these things may not seem like major problems which is exactly my point. Just put a little more effort into making it look and feel and be more professional and comfy for the bridal party. Its an amazing venue! Near the bay....I would love to get married here. But, not without the people who work here taking a little more pride in this beautiful art center.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! This place SUCKS! The only star I’m giving it goes to the art. The people working there and the lack of help we got is the reason there’s not five stars. We are visiting from out of town... and we didn’t know much of how to navigate. The front desk woman SUCKS!!! Please hire new, fresh people who actually engaged with the people. I will never again come here. The art is nice but without everything else being nice, it doesn’t complete my overall satisfaction.

Good for a single visit but this isn’t a place I will bring the kids back to again.

For any brides looking for a venue that can hold both the wedding and the reception, I would highly recommend this location. All of my Pinterest dreams came true booking this place for my fairly large wedding and the courtyard was absolutely beautiful. Sarah was so helpful and understanding when it came to putting together my special day. I was able to bring in my own vendors and go with her best recommendations. The best part of booking this place is that youre able to help out with the community! There is plenty of space to celebrate and plenty of parking for guests. Definitely the place to go in Corpus Christi for a wedding!!

Very friendly staff and beatiful place. Its also great as a venue with an indoor and outdoor space. I have attended few events there and all were great. For small functions like Bridal showers bay view room is must with a great Water view. Highly recommended

Corpus really needs more places like this. Every time we come here we have a great time.

Nice local surf of the third coast vibe

We went for the family fun art day, it was great. Then afterwards we walked around observing the beautiful art that is displayed. My daughter and I noticed a unique piece and as I was admiring it with my daughter the lady behind the reception desk by the family art room suddenly yelled at me not to touch the art. Her tone was agressive and extremely rude. I explained I was not touching, it was clear and apparent that I was not touching the art, and also she had just heard me tell me tell my 5 year old daughter to keep her hands in her pockets and not touch anything so her reaction and comment was uncalled for. She repeated again that I should not touch the art, again in a rude and aggressive tone. I repeated again that I was not touching simply pointing. She then proceeded to seemingly take a cardboard (or something) to a room near where we were walking around and made me feel as though she was following us around. Again a action uncalled for. This a beautiful place in an amazing location full of amazing works of art that allow the public to see them at no cost at all, but the art director should speak to the employees about how they speak to the patrons, or potential customers. I noticed many beautiful peices for sale, I could have been a potential customer looking for some art to purchase, or perhaps wanting to make a donation (as I noticed the center takes donations in order to keep their doors open and Im sure to fund thier many events such as family fun day) and this employee could have caused me to change my mind with her aggressiveness.

Absolutely gorgeous! The reception hall is soooo beautiful and offers an amazing view!!

Beutiful art and views. Lunch is always tasty. Staff is Great. Events are always fantastic.

I was participating in the portrait group. I love those people. They meet every Wednesday, 10 am to 1 pm.
