I got there on time and was presented with a one man band along with a dozen stalls/booths. I was told there were more vendors arriving later. After about an hour I left. There were a couple of artists on street corners painting. And I guess more would emerge later on as part of the actual art walk? It was a fun way to kill an hour. Although I wanted to see actual artists at the park and found none....
Art walk always fun. Good food, local talent. Dog friendly!
My kids always enjoy going.
People having fun enjoying what they do.
Its wonderful to see an attempt to breathe new life into the downtown district. That being said, the art walk is now split into more than one location, offering several satellite areas within the downtown area. In my humble opinion, it takes away from the original festival atmosphere that was being cultivated in the original concept, becoming more commercial in its attempt to focus on the exposure and needs of the shops and vendors rather than the attendees. Still, for CC, its better than nothing.
Great place to buy art work and they some food trucks to get a bite to eat
