This place is awesome! The sea turtle and island girl are delicious!! My dog, Burton even got a doggie treat which he LOVED!! The staff are very sweet and nice.

This is a delightful little coffee shop. We had the egg casseroles and they were quite tasty. Had a great latte, strong and hot. Dont go to Starbucks! Give this colorful small business a try!

I really want to like this place. The food and drinks are actually really good. It is a little pricey though. However, everytime I come here they always get my order wrong. ALWAYS. The people that work here arent the friendliest either. Id rather go to Starbucks or somewhere and get good service.*Also, I completely forgot about this but I will add that there was one instance when I went to the drive through and paid with card. Usually they hand me the tablet to sign and add tip, but this time the girl at the window didnt do that. I didnt even think about it til later but when I checked my statement sure enough, she over charged me! Probably added the tip herself. NOT COOL. Im sorry, but I definitely wont be going back to this place.

Better than Starbucks. This place is so cool architecturally, has lots of spots both indoors and outdoors to sit and chill while sipping your preferred drink. I got the London Fog and my boyfriend got the Hot Matcha Latte, both of which come unsweetened so you can tailor them to suit your taste. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

Great spot for coffee or a pastry before your day at the beach. Dog friendly, great staff, fantastic coffee and if you’re going to sit for awhile, a wonderful outdoor beach view upstairs in the breezeway as well as good views inside. Such a unique place with the containers, surfboard tables, etc.

Man this place was the perfect spot to start my day! The most delicious iced coffee, the most scrumptious cucumber toast made by no other than Ms. Jessica. She was the best part about my trip and as someone who is just visiting Corpus she was a great representative for the islands people! Will always hit this place up when I’m in town.

The cinnamon rolls are delicious. The coffee was the best in Corpus Christi, just like the cinnamon roll. The coffee I get is the Americano. The service was quick and courteous. Even if there is a line, it moves fairly quickly. I have not been inside. The only part that I didnt like was how narrow the drive thru feels. If you drive a bigger vehicle you will probably be better off parking and going inside.

Love this place! Wish there was one in my city! Plenty of nooks to study, read, or work. Coffee, tea, smoothies, and small menu. Highly recommend the Energy Bites--flavor is great(contains peanut butter) and packed with healthy ingredients! Cute island cafe!

First time visitors, and the lady (didnt catch her name) asked us to try our drinks before we paid/left to ensure we liked our selections, and even offered to change it if we didnt like them. Awesome customer service! Will definitely be back again, oh, and great cinnamon rolls w/cream cheese frosting not that super sweet icing.

Probably the best cup of black coffee Ive had so far in Corpus, wish they had a light roast also! They only offer medium roast, but that seems consistent with all the other shops Ive tried so far.

Super interesting building made from shipping containers. The staff was really nice. A bit disappointing that they were out of their bagged, roasted-in-house, whole bean coffee & didnt really know when they might have more. A staff member did manage to rustle me up a bag from somewhere, though.They use hand pressed espresso machines, which I thought was really cool. Impressive photography by the owner throughout.If I lived in the area, I could see myself spending a lot of time here.

The cinnamon rolls are a MUST have. I had one every day of my trip. They offer a free coffee if you bring in a bag of trash picked up from the beach. You can get the yellow bags there or at the beach from the beach patrol.

This was my 1st time to visit island Joes since they have moved into their new location. It is a quaint looking building with 2 floors, painted brightly, and I was interested to see if it was similar to the original location. The parking area is very tight, but you can park on the side street. I entered the restaurant from the front, walked up to the bar and the 2 people working behind the bar didnt see me. They were busy talking to each other and facing away from the door. While they were talking I studied the menu that was up on the wall which was a little difficult to read from my vantage point. I realised I need ed to walk closer to them because they werent noticing me and finally the young woman saw me. She was quite friendly at that point and asked to help me. I ask if I could have a decaf coffee she said yes, I mentioned I would like cream and sugar, she said OK. I didnt realise they would put cream and sugar in my coffee when they made it because they didnt ask how much I wanted. I assumed they would hand the cream and sugar to me, but of course I found in a few moments that it was on a counter behind me. My coffee did have some creamer and sugar in it when I tasted it at the condiment bar, but I need to add more to my liking. I looked the offering of pastries hoping for something on the healthy side, but there were none. I settled for a standard blueberry muffin. The coffee was a good decaf coffee, the blueberry muffin was very sweet and good if you want a piece of cake for breakfast. I did ask if they offered a sandwich perhaps for lunch as my church is just 2 miles away and I have a group of friends that like to go out to eat. But there is nothing offered. I thought a panini or something similar would have been handy for something a little bit different, maybe lunchable, and healthy. I noticed at the condiment bar that it needed to be cleaned from a previous customers usage. When I went outside to sit at the cute surfboard umbrellaed tables the patio that the tables needed to be wiped down and chairs put back in place. Obviously they had not been checked on in a while. A staff member came outside to deliver an order to some customers and it would have been nice if she had stopped by my table to see if I was doing OK. Might have left me with a feeling of someone glad to see me there. The inside was spacious by the way, and it looked like there were some places to sit that would have been comfortable. The visit was not that memorable and it is doubtful that I will return.

Holy moley! Easily the best cinnamon rolls weve ever had, so good we couldnt share just 1. We each had to get our own. Frappuccino earns high marks too!

We love vacationing in Corpus and while here, we make it a habit to eat breakfast at a local German restaurant every day. This morning, while waiting for our usual spot to open, we thought wed grab some coffee at Island Joes. So, I ordered a mocha and since I was famished, a cinnamon roll. All it took was 1 bite and I switched my allegiance instantly. Island Joes not only serves outstanding coffee, but if the cinnamon roll is any indication, outstanding grub.Hubs, who is far more disciplined than yours truly smiled indulgently because I didnt have the self control to wait for our usual. As we left the Island Joes parking lot, I forced him to try a tiny bite of MY delicious, tender, baked to perfection, covered in cream cheese frosting cinnamon roll. He instantly regretted not ordering one for himself. Yeah, so, guess where well be having breakfast tomorrow morning? Island Joes. Great coffee, awesome food and excellent service!

We love Island Joes. We come a few times a week and Sunday mornings at the coffee shop have become tradition in our family. We get our coffee, breakfast, and drive the beach. The employees are always friendly and they even remember our order. The coffee is the best weve ever had. The cinnamon rolls are huge and delicious. Were addicted to the nutella energy bite. Island Joe’s is a great addition to North Padre Island. I’ve been coming here ever since their first location. They have great coffee, eats, smoothies and consistently friendly service. I finally had w chance to come to the new location, where they built it from multiple storage containers. Not only does it look cool, it is very unique! They even have rooms upstairs for rent.I’ve always preferred local over chains and Island Joe’s is proof why local is better.

Its ok... prices are little on the high side. Menu prices differed from the receipt. Tried to over charge me 6$. All this aside Id go again just for the scenery. Just look at the receipt before you go.

Loved the laid-back, beach vibes you feel immediately just from seeing the outside. When you walk in, the atmosphere is great and the baristas were also very nice. I tried the iced Island Girl latte which was amazing and I would come here a lot if I lived on the island.

Pulled in to try to support local roaster - ordered 3 lbs of different coffees, wanted them ground; asked to pull aside and wait 10 min. for the grinding, waited, got home nothing ground.Ground a pot myself, used more than twice what should be needed for the pot, still barely any taste & not much more than tinted water.Went ahead and ordered a specialty grinder, and when I try the other two kinds if they are better I will change my review, but very frustrating morning so far.

Sleek and Unique!!I found this place purely by accident while getting gas one morning, during a trip to Corpus Christi. Island Joes is a local gourmet coffee shop and it’s an art gallery too!! You find exotic blends and all of your favourites Coffee, Espresso, cappuccino, Lattes, Americano, Chemex, cold and hot brews!! If you’re near the shore in Corpus Cristi and looking for a great Cuppajoe this is the place !!

Genuinely good coffee. Tastes great and not super acidic which is hard to find these days. They even catered to our complicated order for a toddler and were nice about it. Cant wait to go back again!

Line took over 15 mins and there was only 3 cars in front of me. Coffees good. I like mine on the sweet side so the Carmel latte wasnt sweet enough for me even with an extra pump. Might try the vanilla next time.

A very unique place with the building made of storage units but the coffee and cinnamon rolls are excellent. My kids loved it.

If you do not want to spoil your vacation - then I do not recommend spending time on this cafethe service is so terrible and slow that we waited for our order consisting of rolls and toasts with cucumber and salad for more than an hour !!! all our friends ate and left, our child was hungry, but no one was in a hurry and did not make our order despite our requests to speed up! as a result, after an hour weary and hungry, we received our incomplete order! they didn’t count some positions and didn’t even apologize to us and did not explain why we had to wait so longthe first time I meet such disgusting service

Best coffee everrrr. If you like sweet I would def recommend the almond joy iced coffee. Staff is super friendly and helpful! Coming back next time Im on the island for sure.

My wife and I got the mexican vanilla latte and it was great! Smooth coffee flavor with just the right amount of mexican vanilla that it wasnt overly sweet. As an added bonus we were given a dog treat so everyone in the car left happy.

From the decor to the architecture, its beautiful! I got the cold brew, naan, and hummus. Everything tasted delicious, and the baristas were friendly. The balcony area is airy and comfortable. I appreciate that they allow pets at the outside tables as well. Ill definitely be back here again.

I give this Cafe one star because we went there and the girl at the window, at a time in town where the coronavirus is hitting its third wave and showing record numbers of cases was not wearing a mask or gloves. If Taco Bell can do it, a a place like this on Padre island where theres more tourism, more people from out of town coming and going and possibly bringing the virus into the city, should be able to be responsible and professional and how they conduct themselves with coronavirus precautionary measures. Im sorry I canceled my order and had to leave immediately, but I was shocked. Not everyone believes that masks are necessary, but as theyre within a day away from becoming mandatory in most places, I hope this Cafe starts using them.

Cool place! Shipping containers put together makes for a very interesting architectural design. Clean and bright and interesting inside with lots of cozy spots to have coffee and/or pastry.

I did a delivery to them for their groceries for milk and such and I just want to say great atmosphere and very kind people. the employee and Im assuming the boss and another employee each offered me a drink which you know I kindly declined because Id rather pay for it if Im gonna get one but overall great experience even though I was just making a delivery, definitely will be visiting soon as s customer (;

The coffee is good, but the manager did not take any sanitary precautions for COVID-19. The staff did not wear any facemasks, no gloves, and they gave us straws that were not plastic or paper protected. It is very irresponsible behavior, and puts a lot of people at risk.
