The tulips mid-March this year were spectacular! I dont know how Descanso grows them, considering La Canada-Flintridge is unlikely to get enough frost in winter.Lovely walks and occasional plant sales.

A beautiful and compact “bang for your buck” space for everyone, especially botanical enthusiasts. Very diverse collection in a relatively small space - love it!

This little arboretum is pretty cool. I usually bike through it with my friends and I love to just look and all the plants. It provides nice shade as well.

Great place for tropical plants lovers

Beautiful collection of tropical plants from around the world. A very pleasant walk through an arboretum with signs that explain each plant family in the collection.
