I have been to a lot of movie theatres, but this place is the dopes one that I have ever been too when it comes to decor, hands down! When you walk into this place its like you went back in time.Its a huge theater with a big screen. Its also got a balcony upper level that I want to find myself sitting in someday. Seriously, the decor is awesome! Most mainstream theaters have that thing called the 20 before movies start showcasing more future movies or TV events. However, this theater has no need for it when the place is as beautiful as this. I can spend hella minutes admiring the art in the room.

This is my number # 1 place to go to when I want to watch a movie at a theater. I feel as I am at home with the comfy recliners they have. The theater is small, but perfect because it’s never crowded. It’s great that I get to park in a covered garage so if it rains I won’t get wet. With the weather in Miami being so unpredictable. A very nice movie theater addition to the area! Located in the beautiful shops of Merrick Park, the theater is on the third floor. It includes a very cozy bar where you can sit and have a drink while waiting for your movie or right after. There are plenty of snack options at the concessions stand. In general it was very clean and the staff was very friendly and attentive. I visited auditorium 4 and the screen seemed a bit small for my taste (this is my only complaint). The reclinable seats are very comfy and the surround sound was pretty good.My advice is come to this theater to watch movies that don’t have a lot of special effects, since the small screen won’t let you fully enjoy that type of movie.

Love the ambiance! Good selection of movies. The bar service is friendly and top flight.During a showing of Knives Out, the film glitched. We received VIP passes, and the movie got sorted out.

This place is nice on the outside but once you get in, its a different story. Well start with the food, terrible quality. My friend ordered the chicken tenders which he described as dry cardboard for about $10 without drink or fries, just the chicken tenders. Then once we got in, the chairs did not recline. This was not just one broken chair but all of them had the recliner disabled. The screen was tiny and out of focus. We had to lean forward to try and decipher what was going on. The low end speakers also made audio muffled an unclear. This seems like a case of a theater that has not kept up with the times. If your gonna overcharge for everything, at least make the experience enjoyable. Never coming here again.

Great little movie theater with a bar located in a lovely shopping mall!

I always come to this theater because it is comfortable and safe and in a nice mall. There was an incident involving bad service yesterday when I visited. I was able to speak to the manager and reach a resolution. The original one-star was changed to 4 star due to efficient customer service.

Comfortable, reclining seats with plenty of room between the rows. When you buy your ticket you select your seat. The theater plays some of the movies and documentaries that you cannot find at a lot of theaters. If you are hungry, there is a bar serving drinks & food.

Terrible 1st time experience. Went to the 10:25 showing for 1917 on FRIDAY night and in the auditorium it was extraordinary hot. Felt as if the AC was cut off. I went to the concierge desk and no one was there. My kids and I frequent movie theaters and we are not at all happy with the place.

Parking is easy. Theater is clean and comfortable especially the reclining seats. Food is decent. Check before you go because auditoriums 3&5 dont have reclining seats.

I love this place, we have seen so many more movies since Landmark at Merrick opened! Great location, great parking, comfortable seats, great food and drinks. The bar and small restaurant are such a nice addition to a night at the movies and we have always found the staff to be friendly and well trained.

I love this theater. Its beautiful and so is the shopping center. Every time I go to Merrick Park, I feel transported to another dimension. So going to the theater there is a pleasure.

Food is good. Seats are comfortable. Love it! The only reason I give this place a 3 is because the servers/bartenders at the bar ignore costumers and they talk and have their socialization right there at the bar. Im not against any of it, if the place is empty. You hear them laugh and totally ignore costumers. It is disappointing. Other than that I like this place.

I came here cause its always been nice.I paid alot to go see star wars and my chair was super uncomfortable.. This place should have better service as well as comfortable seating.

Very clean with a friendly staff. The mall is dead so the traffic is nice and slow. Decently priced food and drinks.

Since our first visit, my husband and I loved this theater! We choose this theater every time we can (we live in Hollywood so its not that convenient). We have come at least 7 times since the first movie we saw there. The staff is nice and the seats are the most comfortable of any movie theater in the area (we go to the movies a lot). I only wish that the seats reclined for every screen they have, but the larger capacity ones dont have the recliner option. We like the smaller theater experience as the seats recline, they are roomy and there arent as many people in the rooms with smaller screens. It is almost like youre watching in a very nice home theater since you have the option to have cocktails and great snacks. We like the convenience of the assigned seating and option to get our tickets online. That way we dont have to scramble to find a seat when we arrive. The womens restroom gets full after every showing and even though they have a good amount of stalls I have run into a line every time if its right after a movie ends in one of the larger capacity theaters. I will say that even as people can be gross in the restrooms, I have seen staff cleaning in there way more frequently than in most public places. All in all, this is my favorite place to watch a movie.

Overpriced, mediocre theater. Poor sound quality. Small screens. Very stiff seats. Auditoriums 3 & 5 are the “biggest” screens but management has decided to make them not reclining seats for some mystical reason. Just skim reviews below where they respond to this criticism as “we tell you it doesn’t recline”, which misses the mark: how can a cinema bill itself as premium when its largest two largest theaters are so lackluster and have such uncomfortable, non-reclining seats! Also, for those of you wondering, avoid auditorium 2 for any movie with special effects. A home cinema is larger

Man worst staff ever. I get the combo with soda and popcorn so the refills are free right? Well I happen to go get my refill while they’re closing and I was quickly denied. Can’t stand people that don’t want to work. Something so simple smh. Won’t be coming here anymore.

This has to be the worst theater Ive ever been to. I have gone here twice and both times my food that I ordered did not make it out in time for me movie so Ive had to cancel my movie. Then while watching the the actual movie the lights turned on for 20 minutes and there were no employees to be found...8 different people went looking for employees and couldnt find anyone... Two different times within a month apart from each other this happened.. I got a major migraine for the rest of the night from the lights this last time and it ruined the entire rest of the movie for me. I will never go back to this theater, ever.

Very nice theater. I went to see a movie at 4:25 pm. Theater was very clean and well maintained. The seats are very roomy and cushiony. They recline very far back. The temperature of the theater was optimal, room temperature. Not frigid, like most theaters. You have the option of ordering food at their little restaurant/bar area and bringing it in the theater. Popcorn is very important to me, and they had so many salt flavors to choose from. They were generous with the butter. Popcorn was already perfectly salted. They do not validate parking unfortunately. Parking cost $4. The tickets were $13 per person.

Easily my favorite of all movie theaters. The upper class atmosphere here is wonderful given the $13 price tag. Most of the rooms have reclining seats which to me are a must. Their bar area is something I have yet to try.

Very nice swanky theater with decor thats remenicent of the Great Gatsby era. Full separate bar to sit and chill before or after a movie or even just because. Nice variety of menu items. Child friendly but a nicer option for date night.

Overrated, very pricey and the seats dont always recline. And if they dont, teust me you gonna be uncomfortably sitting for the time your movies lasts

Ticket price is reasonable for comfortable seats and intimate setting, however the screens themselves are pretty small, volume isnt too loud, and snacks are quite expensive. Parking is also not validated so expect to pay at least $4 for that too. Will likely visit again but maybe not purchase food!

Best mall in Miami! Its gorgeous, and the atmosphere is very calm and friendly. They have farmers market on Sundays and their movie theater is amazing! The theater has great speakers, it looks beautiful, chairs are recliners and you can take your drink from the bar inside, but the best thing about this theater is their friendly staff! Love it!

It was good. Except for the bathroom issue they are having. I had to walk all the way to Villagio to use the restroom because the public bathrooms were closed.

Good movie experience with good popcorn and awesome seats

This theater is by far the worst in Miami. Small screen and the sound is terrible. Came here to see the Irishman and had to leave to finish the movie at home, even my home audio system is way better. I do not recommend anyone to waste their money in this theater.

I’ve been to this theater many times and have mostly enjoyed my experiences. However this past month i went to see Lion King with 7 members of my family (a whole row). The experience was soured by volume that was oddly low, a seat mix up in the row in front of us that took about 30-40 min of the movie, and a crying baby that stayed in the theater for too long. My family doesn’t want to come back anymore...

I adore The Landmark movie theater at Merrick Park! What a fabulous cinema to go to with the family, friends, or a date.The venue is beautiful, tasteful, and clean. The parking is easy and safe. The drinks and dining are convenient and excellent. Best of all, the luxurious reclining theater seats top off the experience.

Was interesting giving The Landmark a shot versus going to the other usual theaters nearby. The location itself is beautiful and lends itself to its overall design that essentially enables a fun and lively time. The bar is pretty large and is a nice compliment to the theater. Checking in was quick and easy using their kiosks. The theater we sat in (#7) was a smaller room - there were three rows of seats. The seats were comfy and do recline, which was great, and the screen size and sound was perfect. I think there are a couple of other rooms that had seats that didnt recline, so double check that when buying tickets! Popcorn and beer were great! Prices are a bit higher than average for tickets, as expected for Merrick Park.

This movie theater is conveniently located with in a few steps from the parking garage with a lobby that offers you a full bar as well as a variety of food a la carte, they have a all, the theaters offer you with a variety of seating options with comfortable recliners chairs to catering food and beverage while you watching your movie, Id suggest you to make your Reservation online before getting to the movie

Don’t grab a drink here before the movie, their prices are way too marked up. Instead go to Yard House. Exiting the theater is chaos, the women’s and men’s bathrooms are right next to each other, which makes the crowding worse. People starting pushing, it was uncomfortable, after a couple people complained that someone should monitor the bathroom lines the employees just shrugged it off. Indifferent employees, marled up prices and bad design. Otherwise good.

Everything about this place is nice, clean the only problem is their specialty was all the theater had reclining seats, well in some of the theaters the mechanism of the seats broke and they have never fixed them. For the price of admission this was a plus and a reason to drive there now thats gone. Its sad .

If I could give this 0 stars, I would!!!!!!! What a horrible experience! Our movie was in auditorium 7 and it was a scorching 81°F in there. I went and told an employee twice during the movie. He played with the thermostat but nothing changed.We used the restroom, to wipe away our sweat, and the bathrooms were appalling. There was paper and urine every where!Upon exiting, I asked to speak with the manager. After a few minutes he walked over. I explained to him our unsatisfactory experience and he didn’t even apologize. He actually admitted that he knew I was going to complain about the heat. (Appalling, right?!) He also continued to admit that it’s been an “ongoing issue for several weeks.” I began to walk the the exit when I remember that I didn’t catch the manager’s name. I approached him once more and asked “I didn’t get your name. What did you say it was?” His reply was “I didn’t say it.” Can you say APPALLING YET AGAIN?! Then he said “it’s Kevin.” I thanked him and called corporate as I walked out. Thankfully corporate was a bit more understanding and apologized and even refunded our money. But after this experience, do you really think I’ll return?! It’s less than likely. Such a shame because it is a pretty nice theatre with reclining leather seats. Oh well!

Nice upscale theater. Would give 5 stars but every time we go the seats don’t recline (which is a major reason to to go upscale theaters). We even brought it up to the staff and they could care less.

This movie theater was so nice and comfortable. My only problem is the person doing the tickets has an attitude. Im with my son lighting up a little bit. Other than that the food was really good. They have organic snacks. My son got the nachos and cheese. Movie theater was great only two sections and reclining chairs. Well be coming back.

Overall great place to hangout. Used moviepass to get online reservation, no issue. All the areas are nice and clean, well maintained. Theater 5 & 7 reclining chair dont work. Parking garage $3 for 2 hours plus $1 per hour. (at least $4 to watch a movie). Ticket and concession price reasonable.

I would not recommend anyone go to this theater. My experience has been horrible every time. For starters the staff is highly unprofessional. When you walk in and see managers sitting at the bar drinking alcohol instead of working that’s a major warning sign as drinking on the job is illegal. Not only that but the bathrooms are disgusting. The woman’s bathroom is horrible as if it’s never been cleaned. There is never any toilet paper and I had the unfortunate event of walking in on a toilet filled with, you don’t want to know, and the toilet wouldn’t flush because most of the toilets don’t flush. Does anyone actually attend to the bathrooms? The theaters are a joke. Theaters 3 and 5 don’t recline and most theaters smell like garbage and are extremely hot because they must be too cheap to run the air conditioning. There was also garbage under my seat and in the cup holder. Point is this theater tries to be elegant but it’s far from it. And I will be reporting my experience to HR.

I love this theatre. The service is quick and courteous. You can eat at the bar, or take your food inside. The popcorn is great, and the seats are the most comfortable I have ever seen. Each seat is literally a full recliner. They do not validate parking here, though. But all of the other pluses far outweigh the average $4 parking fee. I highly recommend this theatre.

Great, Niceee & Cozey

I have been a loyal customer to Landmark Theatre in Merrick Park for a while now and today changed that. If you are going to a popular movie at any point near the premier of the movie, don’t. Theaters 3 and 5’s, their 2 largest theaters, reclining seats are turned off by the GM to optimize costs. The only reason I pay the inflated ticket costs was for the seats. Oh and the manager who handled my situation (6/15/2018 1:00 pm) gladly gave me back my refund without even showing the slightest concern or asking us a single question. Great customer service, am I right?

Nice ambience and it is cool that the staff escorts you to your auditorium rather than just tell you where to go. However the seats are super uncomfortable. What could have been a superior experience felt more like torture. Whoever designed the theater and picked those seats completely blew it.

What a great experience! This theatre and lounge is located within an upscale mall in Coral Gables. Accordingly, the atmosphere and staff are top notch. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and the snack bar prices are very reasonable.I saw a movie in one of the smallest theatres with only about 20 seats, but the theatre was comfortable and clean. The seats are power recliners and the sound and screen are crystal clear!You can enjoy adult beverages and food from the bar and bring it to your seat or you can order from the traditional movie stand snack bar.There are power ports around the bar so you can charge up your device while charging up with a libation.This place is perfect for a date night movie or if you’d like to enjoy a movie in comfort without distractions.

Theres no a better place to enjoy a movie in Miami. A must if you are in the Coral Gables area.

At first we thought it was great theater. The lobby area is nice. Family purchased tickets, hoping to get some comfort in the reclining seats. When we sat down, none of the recliners were working. The managers smirked when I complained. One of them stated, the seats dont last that long. For the price the theater charges, these seats should be kept functional at all times.

Love coming here to enjoy the movies with my friends. We usually arrive early enough to enjoy some food and drinks before the films, and the bar staff and waited/waitresses are awesome.The theaters are state of the art, with super comfortable reclining seats (A-Mazing!!!). Always enjoy the quality of the movies (projection, audio, etc). Highly recommend it!

I love this theatre!! They have a great selection of candy and snacks, the seats are extremely comfortable (with electronic reclining that leaves you nearly horizontal if you choose), and they even accept movie pass! This feels like an upscale movie watching experience and I will basically always choose this theatre if the show times match my interest.

Absolutely my favorite movie theater in the area. Seats are all made with VERY comfortable leather and a majority of the theaters here have reclining seats. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and the popcorn is great and they provide plenty of different flavorings to add to it. If you dont want popcorn, you can get other great snacks like mozzarella sticks or (my personal favorite) fried onion petals.

This is a gorgeous theater, the atmosphere and styling is impeccable.I saw Avengers Infinity War there today and the experience was basically ruined by the fact that the surround sound cut out three times during a VERY MAJOR scene near the end of the movie. Completely jolted me out of the movie and was extremely distracting.Not sure when I’ll go to this theater again if this is gonna be happening, when I go to the movies I want a seamless audio and visual experience. Really unfortunate because this theater has a great location and it’s a nice place.Edit: I did speak with an employee regarding this issue before leaving the theater. The response was thanks for letting us know.

Excellent movie offerings, nestled in a gorgeous garden.

First time coming to this cinema and I wont be coming back. Theatre #5 had a small screen relative to the number of seats. The reclining seats are turned off by management (which is ridiculous regardless of their responses to this concern in other reviews) and the problem isnt that the seats dont fully recline but rather they are completely stiff in upright position. Very amateur customer service. Huge opportunity to be a nice cinema in a nice mall but I prefer Regal Cinema south beach and will continue to patronize there instead.

As a person from NJ that is only used to commercial theatres such as AMC and Regal. I was pleasantly surprised at this little theatre. Everything look brand new and had an art deco feel to it. Loved that theres a bar right at the entrance and the snack options are spectacular. However the best part has to be the seats are reserved and they recline.

Generally quiet movie theater with comfortable, reclining seats (but be mindful of which auditorium youre in, not all recline). Garage parking is easy and affordable considering the area. Restrooms are clean, real food is available in the bar/dining area, and the popcorn is tasty (with additional powdered toppings available at the counter). Husbands only gripe is that they dont have an icee or slurpee machine, other than that, our favorite neighborhood theater.

Best place to go on an off-day for a giant seat and a place to drink during the movie.

This is my first and last time in this theater and my review is based on the following and in comparison with other theater:1- I couldn’t order any food before the movie due to there were no server around. After I waited by 10 minutes and no one appeared I asked the bar tender and she said that there’s just 1 server for the whole place, so I decided to buy some food from the regular food service.2- The seats are uncomfortable, no moving ( not reclining chair)3- There’s not parking discount as every theater has.

I love this movie theater. There is a full service bar in the lobby. Wide variety of food. The recliners were awesome and you can go in with your drink. it felt like I was in my living room.

Great theatres with lush seating and excellent staff. One major thing though is that the volume is always too low. You can ask for it to be turned up apparently but why don’t they set it at a normal movie experience volume rather than ‘we don’t want to diaturb the neighbors’ set.

I always come here to the movies. They have great movies always showing. 4 of their 6 theaters have reclining seats that if the movies are not good you will fall asleep because they are really comfortable. They have the usual snack court to get your snacks and drinks. However, they also have a restaurant and bar where you can eat a full meal. On occasions they will hold a special event, concert, opera at one of their theaters.

Service, and will never go back. And it seems no one cares at all (maybe because the Theater is for sale). Went last Saturday and the audio did not work for thirty minutes, yet they kept the movie rolling - ruining it for everyone. Not a single worker came in to apologize or offer an explanation, nor did anyone provide refunds/vouchers. After inquiring as to what was going on, I was told to chill out and sit down by some 20 year old assistant manager. After 45 minutes, other customers and I asked for refunds and that took another 25 minutes because 90% of the workers were hanging out or at the bar having drinks. Then they had the credit cards all mixed up. I have never been so poorly treated and would not recommend it. Also the mens bathrooms were disgusting! Better off staying home and watching it on a big screen TV.

The day we went group of 10, some how the movie was late... the food was eh... and my seat would not recline! At all.... Then right when is was almost over the fire alarm went off (no real fire btw) and had to leave. When I complained to the manager they sent me to the web site and a month later they got me one ticket. $250 or so will never come back there again if I have anything to say about it. Shame nice location and neat concept.... but not worth the aggravation if management cant make amends on the spot!!!!!

Loved the scenic beauty and greenery. While the park was great we had great picnic here. Park was clean. Red roses add great beauty to the park.

Yes, some of the Landmark’s seats could use upgrading, but it is still my favorite movie theatre. The people are always warm & friendly, te theatres cozy & I love theatres with reclining seats (though some do need to be fixed :-/). Still love this place:)

This is perhaps the fanciest movie theater Ive ever been to I almost didnt give it 5 Stars just because we went to a assigned seat sofa seat theater but the recliners didnt work when one of the customers asked about it we were told the two of the theaters did not have the reclining seats so they can fit more seats in. It would have been nice to know that going into the theater. Everything else was great from concessions at the perfect amount of butter on the popcorn to interesting choices and concessions and the ticket taking counter was easy to use

My wife and I were invited to a pre screening and the experience was quite good. The bartenders were delightful and the food was fair for the venue. The atmosphere was great and upscale. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because of the outdated restrooms, other than that, it was a great experience.

I was very disappointed yesterday when I went to the Theaters at Merrick Park. We were a group of 5 and NONE of our chairs reclined and the back is extremely uncomfortable because they were made to recline. Our backs were killing us! I was completely stiff when I left the movie. Before you go ask if the chairs recline if not don’t even bother to go.Rather go to a cheaper theater... after all a movie is a movie anywhere... sorry not sorry!
