Lovely spot for a nice, long, easy, flat, shaded hike.

The park is a widened shoulder turned parking area with a stone monument that opens to a narrow trail that seems to connect to a whole network of trails around the river. This seems promising, but when I visited the place I was equipped for a kayak on the river, not a hike, so I could not explore much. There is no boat launch or anything like it here.

Little known secret. Great if you can find it. Lots of trails and tracks to take a dog or a bike. I almost feel bad rating it because Im exposing one of my childhood favorite secret respites! Enjoy!
