The actual park is amazing and feels like your in a forest that goes on for miles. The creak is awesome for exploring and letting kids try to catch minds.Id give it 5 stars but theres people there that dont follow the leash their dogs.

The park twnds to peek in july but it all depends on the weather. Absolutely gorgeous, lots of variety of roses. Great place to take pictures!! The grounds are very well kept

Pretty place, but hard to find.You need to drive down lane all the way to the end where summer camp is bei g held. Theres a sign in middle of a circle marking rose garden, but no directions as to which way to walk to find the actual gardens. They are behind a building that is currently closed.

The Park of Roses is nice place to go for home, trail, play tennis or take your pets for walk or play. Plenty of trees, ample shade even in summer noon.

Beautifully maintained area. Clean, and clear. The trails are amazing, and easy to lose track of how far youve gone.

Didnt really explore the park ..Used to catch White Bass in the pond when I was younger...Took my kids fishing at the park ...Got skunked, pond is not what I remembered as a child( next time well fish the Olentangy river adjacent to the park, my only reason behind the 3stars)Other than that it was a very nice park to relax and enjoy ...Plenty of trails and walking paths and clean for the most part...Very diverse crowd, while waiting for no fish to bite we enjoyed someone playing bongo drums in the distance ( dont know who was playing but I and the kids found ourselves busting a move to the beat of the music....)Hope this review is helpful and keep on fishing !

So pretty today! So many great places to walk.

My kids love the high slides but WHY is the tire swing so darn high? My 8 yr old cant get on it without my help and they are too heavy to lift that high. It doesnt work properly being that high because it cant get enough swing going. We love that there are 2 play sets, one by the library and the other down by the open fields just past the rose garden.

Great free place to look at the roses. Best time is in late May.

Site for Columbus City Schools City track meet and Parks and Recreation. Always brings back great memories. They do a heart job organizing to get teams in through the facility.

Always a nice place to walk the dogs. Many paths along the water and through the woods.

This is such a great resource for families. Many kid classes such as gymnastics, pottery and even a soccer league and basketball teams. Adults can even take exercises classes, or workout in the gym. The library is right next door and the perfect size for kids and adults.

I love the Park of Roses,I live approx.15 miles,and I go just about everyday.

Nice gem of a park in the middle of an urbanesque community. Large swaths of fields, scattering of ponds, plenty of geese, birds, and other wildlife. There are a few nice playgrounds, some nice shelters with fire pits, and even one with a giant mantled fireplace. Throughout the year there are an assortment of community events held here including fireworks movie nights and *plenty* of youth sports games. There are portapotties but no permanent latrines or plumbed bathroom facilities in the park itself but theres a community center nearby as well as a library. This is one of the most comprehensive, well-maintained, and enjoyable parks and recreation areas in central Columbus. Kudos to those responsible for establishing this park and those who continue to care for it.

Comfortable place with family

Great play ground for children! Wonderful park of Roses. Park is entertaining to walk around and the flowers are beautiful. If you are in to pokemon go there is always a few trainers running around. It is a great spot to catch some pollywags or take short bike ride up to the library. So rather your biking on the bike trail or just need a new book whetstone is an entertaining place to stop in.

Fun day with the kids, we always have a wonderful time here! Been coming here since I was a kiddo!

It has a lot TY o do for both young people and mature people as well

I didnt go to the Tennis club, but I did sit at the picnic table beside it to eat lunch. I also visited the Library and Park of Roses. Its a beautiful peaceful and quiet place to read, walk, jog or just enjoy nature. They also have free concerts at the gazebo at certain times of the year.

Part of Olentangy Trailways. Wonderful walkways including through Prairie Reforestation. Whetstone Park includes the Park of Roses, and the Whetstone Pond. In front of the park, close to High Street is a playground and a building that hosts community events and classes. There are also several baseball diamonds and tennis courts.

There are beautiful fields of wildflowers in the summer, gorgeous looking leaves in the fall! Definitely a great piece of the olentangy trail:)

Beautiful park! We arrived at the end of May just when the roses started blooming. This is a very relaxing place. It smells fantastic as well! I will visit again soon.

Its connected to the park of roses which when in bloom smells great before you even get close to them. Its just always a nice experience when visiting the park. Lots to see.

What a quiet and peaceful place. All of the flowers are beautiful and blooming and they all smell wonderful. The park is very well kept up all of the people there are very polite I would recommend this place to anyone

Best park in Columbus with the beautiful rose garden! Very popular location for spring and summer weddings and wedding photos.

There was a lot of beauty in spite of the rain. There were more kinds of roses than I knew existed. The layout of the park was very nice.

Great place especially when the roses are in bloom. Ive been to all kinds of events here. Wedding receptions, wedding photos, potlucks, and just to hang out and have a picnic in the park. Great place.

This is our favorite park to visit with our dogs. There are so many areas for the pups to explore and run around. There are also always nice people with their dogs to talk to and walk with. The roses are just beautiful when they are in bloom. I think they have over 100 varieties which are tended to by volunteers. They have several areas for weddings and parties. There is a wooded area with a stream that runs through it. The dogs like to wade in when its hot out. The bike trails also run through the park. There is a play area for small kids. Two duck ponds. Several fields for sports. Covered picnic areas for large parties. The library is right at the front entrance too which is great! After the dogs have their fun I can stop and get some good books to take home

The shelter house is a great facility for meetings, family events or wedding receptions. The gardens and fountains provide the perfect back drop. Double fireplace on each end.

A beautiful park in the city.

This is my favorite park. Trained dogs are permitted to be off leash. Large selection of roses, tagged for easy identification. Such a large selection of trees that it passed as an arboretum. Many people use the park for wedding photos. Cant say enough good things about the park.

Lovely place to walk around and enjoy the view, its a beautiful experience. If you live in Columbus you have to come here to enjoy this nature walk with lots of flowers. If you are ever nearby, please do yourself a favor and come over here

I can never say enough about how much my whole family loves whetstone park! The trails, the casting pond, the play grounds, all of it! Just lovely. Highly suggest walking the trails!

Great playground here and plenty of free parking. They also have tennis courts that are in great condition and that are lit through the night with flood lights.

We love visiting this park when we are in Columbus. The trails are beautiful to walk, there are two nice playgrounds, lots of baseball fields and tennis courts. The library is also nice. In the spring we enjoy walking through the park of roses.

Nice place to have a reunion or charity event. Big rectangular shaped room with fire places on each end and windows down both sides. Open ceiling with exposed trusses that are painted white.

Nice park to stroll through. Kids liked the black metal viewing platform and amphetheater the best. Kind of boring if there isnt much in bloom.

Went to the shelter house for a holiday party. Nice and roomy space for an event this size. Has a fireplace and a kitchen. I would definitely consider it for a function I would have.

The Roses are spectacular. Someone please spray the display. The insects are literally taking over.i know that wood be disgraceful, but sometimes you do what you gotta do.

Its a wonderful venue with the Park of Roses. When the flowers are in bloom it makes for the perfect setting for any party. Its reserved many weekends and Im sure its in great demand.

I really love coming to this place it is one of my favorite places to go whether Im with friends or by myself and I really suggest it for everybody who lives in Columbus Ohio to give it a nice visit

I made tons of great childhood memories here and now my granddaughters are doing the same!

Love being there when the roses are blooming. There was a huge crowd last week.
