WHAT AN AMAZING PLACE!! MORE THAN YOUR REGULAR MUSEUM EXPERIENCE, AN INCREDIBLE COLLECTION OF CARS, AND LICENSE PLATES FROM AROUND THE WORLD!! THE PERSONAL GUIDED TOUR CANNOT BE BEAT.. YOU WILL LEARN AND ENJOY EVER MINUTE YOU ARE THERE!! I CANT RECOMMEND STRONGLY ENOUGH! KIDS WILL LOVE TOO!!
My friend and I stopped here for a tour just trying to kill some time in Columbus. The owner was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and excited to share fun facts about every car he has. It doesnt look like much at a glance, but the cars are gorgeous and the owner is a delightful guide!
This was so much fun! Steve is a hoot! Beautiful cars! Plan to tell some friends about this place! Thanks Steve! Chris, Mandi, Keigen, and Destiny from Dayton!!!
If youre looking for something to do in German Village and you love cars, this is the place to go. I recommend you to call, since its by appointment. They have cars from the 40, 50 & 60. Also plates from different states and other countries... I found one of Puerto Rico! The host guide you and talks about every car they have, and kindly answer questions if you have any particular doubt.
Was really an amazing experience would definitely recommend . If youre in colobus must go
Great little bit of history tucked away in Columbus with a private collector who’s done his research and gives awesome little fun facts and trivia questions during the whole walk through. Thank you Steve for the amazing experience. 5/5 would recommend!
A go to place to take out of town visitors. Can never see it enough myself.
This is a great place to visit! Call and make an appointment before you go. Its really easy to do. Lots of artifacts from recent auto history...1940s onward.
WOW. Really sweet classics.
The owner takes you on a personal guided tour of his collection. Neat vehicles and items, and hes a genuinely interesting fellow. Well worth your time.
Fascinating place for car lovers as well as car noobs. Steve Wagner is an amazing person!
Such a fun place! Im really glad my group was able to get in today and see all the terrific vehicles. They sure do fit a lot of cars in a small space. That shouldnt keep you from booking an appointment, though. I dont want to ruin the fun so Ill keep my comments about the actual vehicles short. There have not one, but two Edsels! And a car with a record player. Yes, a record player. Vinyl.Go see this place!
Never been there my friend lives next door and he says it really great. The guy who owns its it is very friendly and accommodating.
Steve is one of my all time favorite car guys and one of the nicest old guys youll ever come across. Get the tour and eat at one of the awesome restraunts in German Village after.
Fantastic place very interesting and well knowledgeable. Best license plate collection I have ever seen and Ive seen many license plates
Steve was a great tour guide. We called him up last minute and he gave us a tour the very day. Highly recommend to anyone interested in history and automobiles!
Awesome collection of cars. Steve, one of the owners, gives you private tours and does an excellent job of explaining the history and cool facts about his cars. I am not a huge car guy and I loved it.
I called the museum, Steve one of the owners answered. I asked for reservations for my wife and I he said there was an opening we went. Wow, what an experience great collection of license plates, Cars in factory condition some very rare. Also, nice collection of military vehicles and really neat military motorcycles. This shop was amazing and the knowledge I received from Steve was priceless. I would recommend this Classic shop for a great adventure through history.
Old cars just an iconic beautiful way to see what made America
Neat collection of late 50s American luxury cars, military vehicles and transportation displays, all narrated by the owner.
Some nice cars and auto antiques there but I wouldnt call it a museum, ever... more like a barn with cars inside...
Steves passion for cars shines through it all
My brother-in-law and myself drove there from Ashland without a reservation and were lucky enough to catch Steve just finishing a tour. We asked if we could look around. Steve finished with the other group and proceeded to give us the most entertaining and informative tour of his collection. He is obviously passionate about his cars and loves sharing that with others. Thanks Steve.
To my knowledge, it is a private car museum owned by two life-long friends that have been collecting cars since their early 20s. As of late, these guys have accumulated between 40-60 cars, that are scattered around Columbus. This location holds roughly 20 cars, ranging from mostly old classics, to newer sports cars, with the vast majority being mint.Ive passed this place so many times in the past, and I had always wondered whats inside... especially after seeing the pictures online, and even snapping a few myself as they rotated cars! I noticed the door was open on Labor Day, and I decided to stop in.I spoke briefly with Steve Wagner, and its clear that theyre just two car guys in love with what they do, and in love with these great classics. Their collection is open to all, but only by appointment. Tours are free of charge as far as Im aware, and they prefer to hold them on the weekends. Contact information is still hard to find, but it is out there.Overall, this is just one of the many gems lying around Columbus, waiting to be discovered! I highly recommend taking some time to stop by, and to hear the stories they have to share!!
Had a great time at the museum. The owner took time out of his day to give us a tour. He was super knowledgeable and had great stories behind his auto collection. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys the stories behind the cars as much as the cars themselves.
Ive never been to this but Im in my fifties I love old cars I love them all because body theyre made different than these if youd hit if you would hit a new car with an old car the new car you would survive no car you just crunch up but I am an old person in a young persons body I love anything old I love old cars old antiques everything but I would go I would go and get my money to go to the museum I dont know where its at but it is good to it would be good to go see and take your grandkids or your kids.
Great small car museum lots and lots of rare plates, would go again
Wonderful experience! Would highly recommend stopping by! My husband and I were looking for things to do with our 13 yr old son and this was a hit!
Steves a great guy. Make sure you call and make a appointment.
Awesome little museum and Steve was awesome!!
I have lived in this neighborhood for 53 years the museum is definitely a plus to this neighborhood and to Columbus a great addition to German Village
Steve Wagner and his partner very generously share their love of cars and their collection of over 40 autos and related memorabilia with anyone who makes an appointment to visit. Anyone with a passion for -- or just admiration -- for the great American automobile should visit!
Great private museum
Get a personal look at the history of cars from the 1950s including license plates and history of Ohio. Small though a very excitable event for anyone that would like to call and make an appointment
The cars are nice, but the stories are great!
Great tour.
Nothing else but car service there. No museum. Not even a sign!!!
Great tour and tons of knowledge.
Highly recommended visiting when you are in Columbus.
Good
Great collection and enthusiastic narration by owners.
