Absolutely amazing experience during their holiday events. The Halloween Legend of Sleepy Hollow is unlike any other in Columbus. My familys favorite is The Dickens of a Christmas. If youre a fan of the book A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens then this is the event for you. Caroling, horse drawn carriage rides, hot wassil, crafts, St Nikolas, a Victorian promenade dance with live music, and the best part, costumed character straight of A Christmas Carol. My family has gone every year for almost 30 years now. Wouldnt miss it for the world.
Ohio Village is a trip through time! My first time was during their Christmas in the Village and it was magical! One of the first real snows of the year with perfect snowflakes augmented the period dress, chestnuts over the open fire, and caroling. Ohio Village hosts multiple events throughout the year. It has been a great location for Columbus Coffee Fest, which was a magical experience itself. Easy access from the freeway, plenty of parking, reasonable prices. A great place to visit!
Live exhibitions, knowledgeable people, fun topics to learn about and history playing out right in front of you. Get the membership if youre going to come back again or see other sites in the state. Its well worth it!
Took my daughter to Storybook village. She had a blast for an 18 month old. Staff were nice and interacted well with kids of all ages and needs. Might not be all that exciting for adults but it can definitely be a good time for the whole family.
The Ohio Village has changed since the last time I visited a while ago, it has moved forward in time to the late 1800s.(1898) It was a very interesting tour with demonstrations throughout; wood stove cooking and baking, blacksmithing, and an game of early baseball. I highly recommend going to see and learn how our families had to live and work in those times.
The staff were involved and fantastic with the kids and they all seemed to enjoy themselves also
Ohio. Is. A. Nice. Place. Not. Northbrook. Ill. Village. Hall. Not. Good
Nearly fully accessible, great reenactment of Civil War battle. Volunteers are top-notch, knowledgeable and caring. Definitely worth the time!
Great time. Staff was great and the Storybook Village was great! Got to see every one we wanted to!
Wounderful place to visit. Our civil war group had a reenactment there. Wonderful experience. Check this place out.
A deeply insightful and entertaining visit, good for families.
Nice place to know about Ohio....if you r history lover...u must visit this place .. specially in summer!!
Had an absolutely wonderful time on my schools trips there. This sort of blast from the past exhibit is wonderful if youre into that and I hope to go there again real soon.
Fun place to visit, so much for kiddos to do! My toddler had a great time especially in the train
I love how educational and fun this can be. Its a great place for families
We visited today and enjoyed our time there. The blacksmith shop and all the other stops were quite enjoyable. We entered Ohio Village through the Ohio History Connection which is worth a visit in itself.
We had an enjoyable day walking around
Great experience. Never knew that much about Ohio.
Many fun family activities and live music.
Went to the Columbus Coffe fest put on by Columbus Underground. Great experience. Was able to try a large variety of coffee blends from local roasters. Am a huge fan of Coffee Crafters in the Third Way Cafe at Westgate. They were there serving local roasts as well. The event, put on at Ohio Village, was a huge success. I cant wait until next year.
Loved it and so did the kids, very interesting and affordable
Nice peaceful place. Next to the Ohio connection museum and gift shop
We always going here. With and without the kids!
