The Oak Room of Columbus was the perfect venue for our wedding reception! We planned our wedding long distance and Tracy and Rob were so accommodating. They gave us a video tour, and I spent hours on the phone with Tracy going over details. She went above and beyond to make the event a great success. The food (BBQ) was delicious and a great price! The staff working the event was amazing and we felt that everyone was rejoicing with us in our day. I made a last-minute linen switch and Tracy was so gracious about that. She was right there with us during setup and made everything happen so smoothly. On top of it all, this is a beautiful venue from top to bottom. We are so happy with our choice! Thank you Tracy and Rob!

Had our class reunion here. Very friendly staff and excellent facility. Plenty of room for our large group. 2 bars open came in handy.

Live (one man) band started out rocky but by the time they got to the real band it sounded great!

Owners very appreciative of Optimist Club group. Meal was delicious. Cheesy potatoes had chunks of apples in it. Never had that before. The owners have done a fabulous job redecorating and making the community welcome and working on new items to make the environment even more meaningful. Keep up the good work!

When we had our Christmas Family Reunion on December 23, 2018, Rob and Tracy were very gracious, and excellent hosts. They had the place very well decorated, and everything was wonderful. I am absolutely glad to see what a fantastic job they have done with the remodeling of such an iconic place in downtown Columbus. It makes me proud to see the interest is coming back to downtown. We will definitely be back!

Visited as a guest with friends. The Oak Room has a cozy, warm friendly ambience. The buildings charm and architectural charter certainly have a lot to do with atmosphere. The staff all greet you warmly and service is excellent. Great place to relax and meet friends or have a party.The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. Definitely recommend The Oak Room at Friedhof & Co, Schwesers Building.

Oh, my goodness!! What a fabulous, community-minded local venue! Its sparkling clean with an attentive and helpful staff. They hosted an amazing fundraiser evening for expenses after the 2019 Spring flooding at Izaak Walton (and the rest of the state!!). Thanks to all who patronized the Oak Room that evening!

Classy place! The owners did great with the restoration of this historical Columbus building. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Lots of beautiful woodwork and stain glass. One of a kind in Columbus for sure.
