The Pizzuti Collection is always worth a stop. Now part of The Columbus Museum of Art, you dont need a separate membership to go. If youre from out of state and belong to a museum thats part of the North American Reciprocal, you can use that membership card at the Pizzuti, too.The Pizzuti focusses on contemporary art and installations. Its on three floors and can be seen in less than an hour if you dont stop to read all of the interpretations. If you take a more contemplative tour, you can spend two to three hours seeing everything. There are some metered parking spaces in front of the museum and ample parking in the various garages in the Short North.
Enjoyed the collection and the staff were very helpful. The rooms and lighting make viewing the works very enjoyable.
Gorgeous and easy to get to. Supposedly you have to pay to get in (or if youre a student you get in free) but literally no one stopped us until we were leaving so we didnt even know. Which, I guess was good for us!
I really like this museum when it was just the Pizzuti. The Young Professional events were the best.
Absolutely the whitest place I have ever been. It is a museum style showcase about chairs. There is nothing subversive about chairs also this venue would have you believe otherwise
Wonderful little museum. Just the right size so you can see everything and take it all in. Staff and volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable.
Skip the Columbus Museum of Art if you only have time for one museum in our city and go here instead. Sure, the collection is much smaller, but it is far more interesting, welcoming of diversity, less stuffy and ever rotating. Plan to spend at least a few hours with the artwork and feel free to approach the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff and take a stroll in the sculpture garden after your visit indoors.
What a hidden gem great location and easy access, with beautiful works inside
Fantastic exhibits time and time again. If you havent seen Chairs yet, do yourself a favor and check it out your list.
Very interesting chair exhibit! Nice, small museum that is easy to navigate
Nice building, small and easy to navigate. Some of the collection can be a little disturbing. An easy walk to food and anything you could want afterward. They also have free family days on occasion.
Loved the artwork on display. Great little gem I didnt even know existed! We went on family day so admission was free to boot.
Great revolving collection of modern art!
This place was quiet, the staff was friendly, and students were free to get in! It was a great addition to a Friday afternoon.
Well-curated collection and display of contemporary art, with both permanent installations and changing exhibitions. I like the sculpture garden outside. A very good museum and a great cultural resource in Columbus.
I am sure the Pizzutis are getting a very good tax deduction for this museum.
Wonderful collection of multimedia art types, all made since 2002.
Great collections with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Lovely space; a great place to take a date, out of town visitors, or just to browse alone.
A very inspiring collection.
I love this place! Columbus has an interesting history with modern art and contemporary art, and the Pizzuti Collection is among the best!
Awesome addition to the CMA
Visited while exhibits were changing but the collection on view was great. My kid loved drawing the art in the book they gave him.
Too much money for the amount of art! Only a few rooms. The wall plaques lacked description, and were in places non-existent!
Beautifully curated gallery. Docents handled our group of 60 middle schoolers as skillfull professionals.
They have some interesting things.
Interesting and provocative art.
Great duration
Loved the exibits
Spectacular.
Beautiful works but a bit expensive.
Wow never knew this was here! Very well done collection!
