Wow..wish I could give it more stars. A very interesting and eye opening experience. Living in this area many years never knew I had such a very decent museum in my back yard. The exhibits are interesting and full of information. The gold watches make me want one. How time began and from that point until now is truly breathtaking. I would not reccomend this to children or teenagers unless they fully are aware of this magnificent place.

Inexpensive museum with very cool old clocks. The information makes you amazed at how far we have come in creating ways to tell time. Some of the old way of telling time were very interesting. They have a lot of very old artifacts here and some very neat looking clocks. The level of detail on some of these clocks were awe-inspiring. Would recommend to check out if youre in the area. Youll be suprised just how interesting this museum is.

Beautiful museum of clocks and watches. Very extensive collection of timepieces and techniques that use by men to keep track of time in chronological order. Many exhibits show the rudimentary ways to measure and track time to the artistic and craftmanlike of watch makers and clock makers of 1800s.The demonstration of the Engle clock was quite interesting with many movements and stories depicts the passing of time by story telling and music. The staff was so helpful. The museum was well maintained. The admission fee is quite low comparing what is being offered. Be prepared to spend at least 2 to 3 hours here.

Clock museum? Seems like it may be boring! We took a chance and tried something new. Such a great place, so many cool fun facts, interesting things to see and every staff member we spoke to was genuine helpful and knowledgeable. If you have time to stick around for a Ingle Clock demonstration, do it! Well worth it.

This is the coolest museum Ive ever been to in my life. The attendants are very friendly, as well. If you have any interest in clocks and time keeping, this place is a must-see. Perhaps slightly boring for family members if thats not their thing, but even my less-than-interested family members found some enjoyment. Also extremely reasonable admission price. Even if you go through it quickly, plan to spend an hour. If you really want to absorb everything and read everything and learn, plan to spend at least three hours.

Ive been coming here repeatedly since I was little. Now, disclaimer, I do like clocks and watches, but I think anyone will find themselves entertained. For an interested party, there are probably four to five hours of quiet contemplation to be had, i.e. you might need to come back a second time if it really strikes your fancy. For those who hate spending their time at museums reading literal walls of text, this place is great because there are more watches than words! Youll spend most of your time just looking at the stuff you came to see.

This is the alpha and the omega of museums of/on/about timepieces. The complete history (complete with an exhibit) for each milestone, event and invention related to clocks and watches that man has experienced throughout time in our documented history. You will enjoy this amazing compilation of time with as little or as much history that you choose to accumulate when you finish spending your time in the National Watch and Clock Museum.

This museum is a true gem. I am a member of this organization and visit often. The exhibits include clocks and watches from early times through atomic clocks and quartz watches. One can see examples of American made wooden movements from the early 1800s, tall case clocks from colonial times, and factory made clocks from the 19th and 20th century. Clocks from Europe and Japan are also on display. Watch examples from major manufacturers are on display. The museum has special exhibits; the current one is of watches with civil war provenance.

Been meaning to come here for a while and finally made it down thanks to having to be nearby. The museum has an intriguing range of time pieces and looks at the measurement of time from the very first crude time pieces (sand clocks, water clocks etc) to sundials to the modern quartz movements. There are a range of clocks with different types of escapement on show so you can see the escapements working, a lot of pocket watches and long case clocks as well as a few intriguing concept timepieces that are unlike anything Id ever seen before. The museum also features a huge concept clock, I think it was called the Engels clock, that has so many moving parts it beggars belief. Its worth timing your visit to take in the chance to see it in action.

This place is not very popular I assume, because there were only a couple others in the whole place at the same time as me. (Granted, it was midweek in the afternoon so maybe its busier on the weekends). The admission fee is completely reasonable, I dont remember exactly what it was but I want to say ~$7.This place has thousands and thousands of clocks. From the outside, it wasnt clear how enormous it was gonna be. There is an especially amazing clock in the back that they talk about and run once an hour that was especially impressive. Im not particularly into clocks, I just ended up here because I love museums and was in the area, but I highly suggest checking this place out!
