Outstanding course, I play here all the time. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The carts are always clean and their prices can’t be beat. The course itself has been in top notch condition for some time now as well! If you’re looking for a great round of golf, Oakhills Golf Club should be a top contender for you to consider.

Would give 4.5. Nice course. Great Value. In good shape (B+). Loved the rolling fairways and undulating greens (up and down was a challenge.....but fun). Nice to play a course not surrounded by homes. Entire course is in the woods.....nice.....quiet....tranquil. Will definitely play again.

I had never been to this course until recently, and was really pleasantly surprised by it. The fairways were in really good shape throughout the entirety of the course, each hole of the course was unique and presented its own challenges, and the price was great, as well (I think it was $25 if Im not mistaken). The putting green was good, the staff were friendly, the carts were great and zippy, and it was generally a very nice course. Id recommend it any day! I can assure you that Ill be back!

I play this course quite a bit it can vary in conditions. There is normally small rocks in the traps which is really annoying other than that the fairways are nice and the greens are usually kept pretty good. Someone needs to tell ray to lighten up only staff member with a stick up his butt. Rest of the staff is great. Decent practice area all you could ask for in a 40$ round of golf

Great course. Greens are almost perfect, fairways groomed nicely. Staff very helpful. Kitchen has awesome food with low prices.

A hidden gem. Always enjoy playing this course, as it is always in good condition. Everything always freshly cut. Fairways had a great roll out from the drives, and the greens were super fast today.

One of the most well-kept courses in and around Columbia. Smooth fairways throughout with all sand in excellent playing condition. Only one green was not in peak condition. Cart path is pretty broken in some areas, but that doesnt detract from the overall experience. Definitely worth the time!

Oak Hills Golf Club Columbia SC I was in Columbia visiting my son. Hes going to Summer School at the University of South Carolina, and he arranged for us to golf at Oak Hills. The course was beautiful and in good condition; the weather was good (and hot), and we finished 18 holes in 4h 15min -- excellent pace of play. We were glad we came and want to come back. The greens had been aerated probably 2 weeks ago. The little holes were filled in, but still visible. We found the greens big, fast and putted true. One green had damage from tire tracks; otherwise really pretty good.

Wide fairways. Great for rippin dingers.

Watch out. They threatened to call the cops on us for having a five some. Apparently if you have two tee times back to back and you want to play together when you get on the course, it’s a very big deal. Doesn’t matter if it’s in the middle of a summer day and nobody is behind you.They also don’t warn you when they punch the greens.Amateur hour.

Nice track. Nice people. Great price. If someone would put some money in this course it could be outstanding.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Guy in the pro shop is rude. Made me so mad I didnt wont to play anymore and refused to give a refund when I never even touched the course. Spent less than 15 minutes there and that guy ruined it for good.

I just had an incredible lesson with Young Lim at oak hills golf course. He showed me through a video analysis exactly what I was doing versus What I thought I was doing in my mind. Complete game changer for me. This was our first lesson an I saw improvement that I would have never seen on my own. He gave a few suggestions based on what he saw in my swing. He didn’t try to totally rebuild it. His suggestions had me striking the ball on a whole new level. I’m super excited to go work on the suggestions he gave me. And also super excited to get back with Young for our next session.

Course was in great shape

I love Oak Hills golf course its a great place to play. Its always in the best of shape. They maintain it beautifully and never have tee times book on top of one another. Greens are being worked on, slow and spotty but the layout is fantastic. Staff was also very welcoming.

Oaks Hills is a great golf course to enjoy your day at. Course is very nice to play. The club pro, Young Lim, is a great for private lessons as well. I would recommend him for all levels of players trying to improve their game.

They are very accommodating and the course is looking pretty good despite the heat and lack of rain.

Course was in great shape after some solid rain. Greens were a little slower than usual, but again with rain, that was slightly expected. Grounds are looking great. After a few more weeks of sun, it should really be pure and in top condition, especially by Columbia, SC standards.

Nice golf course / club. They are working hard to improve their greens. Most are in good shape. Practice green & 14th green (temporary green in use) being resodded today. Tees & fairways in better than average condition. Fun, challenging track.

I have had great results from my lessons with Young Lim. He has a great ability to utilize the tried and true techniques while also incorporating new technologies. He is patient, professional and has a real desire to help improve my game and my enjoyment of golf.

We visited today and the whole place is fantastic.. it started with the very friendly staff and then the course did not disappoint.DEFINATELY worth a visit..

I understand chasing off geese, but when there are two local bums firing off shotguns 40 feet away from me killing adult geese and goslings...it‘s pathetic. Seriously need to reconsider management.

Upgrades to clubhouse are wonderful, place looks brand new. Staff in pro shop and Grill very friendly and helpful.. The greens and fairways are in great shape better then most of ther couses in the area. . Bring your friends and enjoy this beautiful course.

I recently moved from the North and was having a hard time finding a course with really nice fairways and greens. This course is it! I love the rolling terrain and the course is really well kept. It is the best value I have found by far. Would highly recommend.

Today I had my first lesson with Young Lim the teaching Pro at Oak Hills. I really enjoyed the instruction and help I got from Young on the range today. I feel as if I learned a great deal about the fundamental mistakes I was making with my swing and took plenty away from my session today! I look forward to my next lesson!

I usually play as a single and they had me on the first tee within the hour paired up with a great Veteran Memorial Day weekend. The course was in great shape, even with airiated greens, were pretty fast. The people who worked there were very friendly and pace of play was great.the green fees were low and I will play this course again next time I come back to the Capitol

I loved this course but the greens were terrible. Your ball bounced around like your were putting in the parking lot. With that said I would join if the greens were better.

The golf Course is great, however, the cart paths need a lot of work.

I played here for the first time this weekend and the staff was very friendly. The downfall was the course was very dry and needed to be watered a little more often. Also on the first hole I noticed that the green was slower than any green Ive ever played on, I didnt think anything of it but then the other 17 greens were exactly the same. So the greens need to be mowed more often also. Overall I had fun but they need to think about not drying out the grass and cutting the greens more often.

Would not recommend this course to anyone. Tee times dont mean anything. Tried to contact management to talk about the issue I had and never received a call back. I guess they arent too concerned about losing customers. Paid for a loyalty card but wont be using it any more.

Course is in pretty good shape for this time of year, greens are a little bare, give them a month or so - over all I really enjoy this course and lay out.

Well maintained green and fairway. You will enjoy this course if you are a long hitter. The fairway is pretty wide.
