I had a less than great experience at two bow shops then found Jefferys! I drove 100 miles to them. They fixed all the problems the other shops had created. Even though I didnt buy the bow there they were super helpful, super friendly and genuinely cared about getting my Elite bow finely tuned. As if I werent surprised enough by the service and time they took, when I got to the register I felt that I wasnt being charged enough. Spent 2 hours with me! They have all major brands and the service to match. Id drive 1000 miles for that. Great job guys! You made a customer for life!

I am new to bow and went in looking for assistance in adjusting and sighting my new bow; not only did they make adjustments but they explained to me what and why they were doing it. To top it all off I received a quick lesson and now I have a working knowledge of how to get on target. Thank you so much gentleman; everyone was super friendly; knowledgeable, professional.

0/5 would not recommend. My husband bought a used Hoyt bow and wanted to take it to have it looked at and get a tune up. He is new to bow hunting and was hoping to come here to get some expert advice to help get him acquainted with his bow. The customer service experience we had was sub par at best. The guys helping us (if you could call it helping) seemed to almost be annoyed by our questions about the bow and the workings of it and made us feel as if he was waiting on us to leave so he could do better things. We were having to pull answers out of him. While we were waiting to get a tune up on the bow, my husband mentioned that he wanted me to shoot, since they had a range there. The guy said okay, and we thought he was going to get it set up, but he never followed up the entire hour and a half we were there. All in all, the guys there know their stuff backwards and forward but appear to have little desire to help someone new coming into the sport. I hope this was just a bad night and this is not their normal level of service, as I see a lot of other people have had much better experiences here. We are hoping our next experience will be better, but hope we won’t have to be back.

Its hard to give an unbiased rating because these guys are really the only true bowtech pro shop around. Tom the owner is amazing patient and really funny gentleman with a whole plethora of archery knowledge since his father started this business building wooden recurve bows.

I needed help with a new sight and was fortunate enough to encounter Tom there when I arrived. He listened to my story, patiently explained options and helped me settle on a sight. It was installed and I went off home to sight it in. Being a different technology than my previous sight, I had a few sight picture issues and went back for help. That time there, I (unknowingly) interrupted a flooring project, but Tom still took the time to patiently listen to me again. He explained what the issue was and suggested corrective action. If youre luck enough to work with him when you arrive, you should have a positive experience.

I havent even been in their shop but I can tell you they have excellent customer service! I lost a small but critical part to my older Diamond Archery bow. Jeffery Archery was able to get the part for me and save my old bow. Even though they had little to gain in getting me this small inexpensive part, they still took the time to acquire me one, with extras, from Diamond Archery and mail it to me pretty quickly.

Store hours not correct as advertised online or on front door of building. Showed up at 7 and they closed at 6 when store hours all said close at 8 and a man came out I explained I was looking for a crossbow they advertised online and he stated they do not carry any of that brand in store. Waste of a trip recommend calling before you show up and they don’t have what they advertise on the website.

Could not be more disappointed, after hearing good things about this shop. Brought in a newly purchased, used bow to get new strings and set up. The gentleman I spoke with when I picked up the bow could not wait for our interaction to be over. I am new to archery and asked for help with a proper anchor point to make sure the peep sight would be tied in at the proper height. This gentleman refused to give any advice and rushed me to pick a spot which, after shooting several times at home, I realize is not correct. I will be going elsewhere in the future.

These guys are excellent! Over they past couple of weeks both Toms have spent a lot of time with me helping me choose and purchase the setup I wanted. From the very beginning they both put in so much extra time and effort to understand my goals, measure my draw length and let me try their own personal bows to determine a good draw weight starting point. They have been a valuable resource in helping me put together a full Olympic recurve set up. I absolutely recommend them for anything you need related to archery and they will work hard to help you find what’s right for you.

If you are new to archery and especially if you are buying yourself or your child their 1st bow, this is the place to come. There is lots that factor in to getting fit to the proper bow. Draw length and draw weight to name a few. The staffs knowledge is invaluable here! They spent time with my daughter, set up several different bows that she was able to shoot right there on the indoor range. She was able to pick the one that felt and fit her the best. They showed her proper techniques and tips on how to hold, aim and shoot a bow. They adjusted her new bow to her and dialed in her sights so that she was hitting the bullseye before we left. She was so excited!!! This level of attention is needed when buying this kind of product and is not available at any big box store. We went to our 1st 3D shoot this weekend and it was lots of fun. Great sport for the whole family! Not just for hunting anymore!

Im completely new to archery. You couldnt ask for anything more out of the folks that work/own this shop. They offer excellent purchase advice. When I was getting setup with a hand-me-down compond bow that needed re-stringing, Ryan gave me the choices that they offered. He explained in detail the process of selecting the right string and how long it would take for them to do the work. They called me to come pick it up(right on time). No issues great workmanship. I then needed to purchase the rest of my setup. Mr Tom helped me pick the right things that were going to be the best fit for me...he didnt try to sell me anything that I didnt need to get started, he explained and broke the information down so I could understand and make the right fit for me. Cant thank him enough for all of his patience with all my questions..... Im sure he had listened to and answered them a million times before. No pressure to buy anything as I stated earlier. Mr. Tom helped me understand the fundamentals on the range, adjusted my sight pins (numerous times). He stayed close and coached me just about every shot. Once I felt comfortable he stepped back (continued to watch) He watched me shoot making adjustments as they were needed. This is a place I will take the family to get their new bows and setups this December. Great experience 10/10. Again thank-you to Mr. Tom and Ryan!

Ok so I bring my bow in because my drop away rest isn’t dropping, a guy named Ryan saids I need my bow tuned up and need to put new strings on it, so I leave it with them so it can be fixed, it takes 2 weeks for them to get it ready... anyways they finally call me saying it’s done, I drive from an hour away to pick it up and when I get there, the strings weren’t all the way in the Cam groves, the string coming from my drop away rear was connected to the wrong string (supposed to be on the down string) and the serving work was sliding all over the place because they didn’t tie it tight (tom tied it) so when I get there it had to all be redone and I waited around all day for them to get it right. So they “finished it” I got my arrows cut and left, I take it home and shoot it and the drop away rest still won’t drop!!! So I call them today and they have the phone off the hook.... Jeffery’s should have tested it and got it right the first time, this place doesn’t deserve to be a “PRO shop”. I will be taking my bow to Lexington archery from here on out

Excellent service, extremely knowledgeable staff (special callout for Tom, the owner and co-founder). Long bows, recurves, compounds of all sizes and weights. These folks not only know about archery (both competitive and hunting), but they wrote a good portion of the book on modern archery. These are THE GUYS (and gals). Incredibly patient with noobies, responsive to customer needs, they definitely go the extra yard to make sure you leave happy. I sure did!! They also have a shooting area set up with half a dozen or so shooting lanes and targets. Great for practice, great for trying out different bows. If you are a noob, theyll even go through and help set up the bow (compounds have lots of adjustments and ways of tailoring to your needs and desires) so you get a good feel for it. Cannot recommend it enough for experienced or noobie archery.

Ordered a custom long bow on November 14th. The owner seemed like a very honest and reliable person. He said he could have it done by February 1st and that it takes 3 weeks to build a bow. I called to see how my bow was coming along and left a message. Its now 8 April and still no call nor bow to shoot. I guess I will have to order one from someone else. I ordered a long bow on the 14th of November from the owner of Jeffery Archery. He seemed like a very honest and reliable person and he told me he would have my bow completed by 1 February. He said it usually takes three weeks to build one. February 1st came and I had not heard from him. On the 20th of February I stopped by the shop to see how it was going. The owner stated he had missed the weight on the bow and had to start over. He said it was in the back glued together. On April 8th I called the shop to see how the bow was coming and an employee said he didnt know, but he would have the owner call me. It is now April 14th, five months from when I ordered it, and I still have havent heard from the owner nor do I have a bow to shoot. I guess I will have to order from another bowyer. I am a very disappointed Veteran. Jeff Roberts
