It was a good place to have a party for the little ones. Has a nice little playground lots of running space, a tennis court, basketball court, and bathrooms that are not open all year round but thats the only down fall to this park i could find.
Just what you would expect. It does have a great pavilion.
My daughter loves it there keep it there please
Well maintained. Not enough trees
This is a beautiful park with a nice playground. There is plenty of seating, shade and green grass to enjoy.
Nice place! We find this whole on vacation and used the park to practice flying our drone!
Nice park good shelters and clean
Nice park. Bathrooms ok and open. Picnic tables available. Pretty park
We all enjoyed our picnic at the Park
Shady Park with covered picnic area and small playground.
Older park, but my girls love it!
I stopped in for #2 in the summer Paint the Town Blue concert. Beautiful little green and comfy neighborhood park. Seating on your own chair or ? on soft grass. Intimate but plenty of room. Family friendly.. Play stuff nearby for the kids.
Shadiest playground in the springs. It’s the only park we’ll go to when the temp is above 90.
Clean, quiet, public park, with lots of open green space. Southwest corner has a small but robust childrens playground. Swings, climbing features, imagination station, a pavilion, all in good shape. Play area is covered with fresh wood chips. Very nice area - granddaughter approved.
Small but quiet park. Weekend family events occur here, wouldnt recommend playing sports here but still a great place to bring your kids and let them go ham on the playground.
Nice park to take our grandson
We stopped for lunch at the park today, it was a nice cloudy day. The park was beautiful, its located in a decent part of town, lots of foliage and shade, basketball and tennis courts. The only thing I did not enjoy was all the debris from the dead stuff, but other than I recommend u stop and check it out. Fun for the whole family and they have a playground as well.
Very nice park. Well maintained, nice shaded areas. A nice quiet place for family gatherings
Awesome place. Its quiet and relaxing. Great place to walk with either sidewalk path or dirt path and the creek running through it.
Good place for the kids
Nice, relaxing.
Great place for kiddos. Very family friendly park with fun play equipment.
Nice Park, the kids love it.
Driving up to the park witnessed literally 25+ people on the basketball court and another 25+ people around the court. NO SOCIAL DISTANCE PRACTICES IN PLACE. Playground area was full as well with 20+ people. Kept driving.
Family friendly
I enjoy taking my RC rock crawler there...
Great park with wonderful trees for shade and a great view of the mountains. Bathrooms are a little scary but overall it is one of the best parks in Colorado Springs .
What a neat off the beat path spot.It has a DOG friendly section too!
Its a nice clean park not trashed out by the homeless
Nice park. Lots of kid friendly things to do. Spacious. Lots of trees. Even a 50-70 baseball field.
Really nice neighborhood park in a quite area and the park is clean.
Clean,quiet.
We love this park. The picture is garden of the gods though
I love Colorado but tourist and ppl moving here have ruined everything that was beautiful about Colorado Springs GOG u can even walk or hangout anymore without ppl walking up on u or crowding ur space or enjoying thr peace in nature it used to have Im a native here and these ppl suck amd need to leave my state and stop ruining my home get out and stay out!
Played there as a youngster when my grandma lived up the street! We been back for family gettogethers and just a place to relax on a summer evening Great place, lots of memories.
I love parks with large open space grass
The paint the town blue concerts are wonderful. Great bands Davy day was fantastic on the harp and BJ esteres on guitar was fantastic
Its large for where its at, extremely easy to access
Nice park with street parking. I didnt see a parking lot. The park is only about the size of a city block, but with plenty of running room for kids and dogs. It has a really nice playground with a couple of sandboxes, a few slides, lots of stuff to climb on, some round spinny things, and of course, swings. There are several picnic tables and a covered picnic area. There are quite a few old, tall trees, so its pleasantly shady. I happily recommend this park.
Idk this place
Quiet, clean park. Ate my Wendys double w/cheese there
Pleasant park, lots of grassy fields, and large area for younger kids to safely play (swings, slides, spinners, and other things to climb on including a horse drawn carriage without the horses ;) )Plenty of seating g for tired grownups too!
This is a great park for your kids and dogs there is a big field for the dogs to run and a small area for the little ones and a larger area for the bigger kids to play.
Beautiful park, great place for events and Thursday nights is live music!
One of the most beautiful places on Earth
If u enjoy the sun, theres alot of open space. If u like a shady spot, there are alot of shade trees. Thorndale Park is on a busy street.
This is a great little part in my moms neighborhood where I love to take my granddaughter!
Great fun with mandy n laura n shana n westsiders.Thanx mandy and everyone.
Very nice park with plenty of open green space and trees. Theres also a basketball court and tennis court!
Its nice for what it is. They keep the grass decent & park clean. Nice playground for little kids. Some shade & some wide open. Been low on transients lately so thats a plus.
Great open baseball field couple slidesKids dig it
My father would take me here as a little kid to the infamous Stagecoach. Like many of us growing up in the Springs, this park is a small slice of home on the westside. It was great to see so many different people out having a good time & always friendly.Park playground equipment looks seemingly well kept. Im a bit disappointed that theres a lot of small, discarded pieces of debris, plastics & trash on the grass. If I were regularly visiting, I would contact the Management of whomever cleans, tends to the safety upkeep of Thorndale Park. A request needs to comb through the grass to remove everything that can/could/will cut skin. Parks are made to be crawling with kids from all ages & family pets as well. The rollout bin has several disguarded doggie poop bags on & around it.... So people appear to be making somewhat of an effort to clean up after their dogs, however Im curious as to why they were not simply thrown into a park trash can? I DO love this park.... Its a part of my life where many celebrated birthdays occurred. I hope the next time we visit, the ground is picked up a bit better. I believe that if every one person picked up anything needed to be placed in the trash cans, the task of having a safe place to walk barefoot with your pet(s) would exist ASAP. Its a big world, we all need to pitch in. Including me.
Nice park with well maintained grass and big trees. Has a playground and a decent basketball court. If you were hoping to use the tennis courts, dont bother they are in total crap shape.
This park holds a near and dear spot in my heart. Its where I met the man I am with today. Its a really nice park with great areas to relax.
Nice park. Has bathrooms cool playground.
A quaint little park wuth fun for the children.
Finding a green shady park isnt always easy in Colorado, but finding one with an expansive playground populated with kids of all ages is a parents dream. Between its location, the playground, basketball courts, a green way, benches, picnic tables, a shelter, and shady (on street) parking, this park is sure to satisfy any family for an outing. The main street is well-traveled, but the majority of the park is set well back from the street so as not to concern parents, or interfere with conversation.
The park seems clean, quiet, and well kept. Was only here for a few. Felt completely safe.
Thorndale park is a great place for kids, friendly pets.
Beautiful park friendly faces everywhere,..the children love the park ...great place to go with your doggys,, great mountain view
Safe and clean park. Picnic benches and playground area. Plenty of green space . Nice neighborhood park.
We stopped here on a long road trip to give our small children time out of the car. It has clean restrooms, a really great play area for both toddlers and bigger kids, and a lot of green space to burn off the energy.
Like 50 people there, people smoking weed and cigarettes, and many people cursing. Also, really bad basketball hoops.
Its ok, but the restrooms are locked which is very stupid
Always kept clean. Bathrooms may need a bit of attending to for a better experience.
Breath taking views
Nice shade trees. Open with nice play area for children.
Good clean park. Plenty for kids to do. Plenty of open space for running your animals as well. Also courts for the adults to burn some energy.
Grass / weeds were mowed, but overwatered. Shelter and play equipment were nice. Tennis courts were in bad shape. Restrooms were as clean as could be expected.
Well maintained. Great for kids. Dogs must be on leashes
Always come here as a kid its a little bit nicer now that they upgraded some of their playground equipment but still would like to see it accessible for handicapped kids that live in the neighborhood
Good place to hang out.
Wonderful little park my daughter had a fun time here. Decently clean as well.
Nice place to play with my kids
Love the Park, they need to work on the bathroom. It was gross
Hot needs water sprayers
Been going there since i was like 2 love it so much!
Gross people use this park, not appropriate for kids
Spread out- lots of open space!
Beautiful place to have a small birthday party or just to have fun with the family
A wonderful park1 of the best
Good playground
There a pokegym here, and a wonderful play ground for kids. A wonderful childhood memory
Excellent little park with large, beautiful trees, many shady spots, a nice sidewalk running through the park, and fun play equipment on the playground. This park has been a favorite in my family for years!
Its being loved to death like all CS parks. I hope the city waters this year.
Ive always loved this ok. Raised my kids there and always take my animals there
Wonderful place for the family
A nice little park for a rest break on our way to the Briarhurst Manor Estate.
Great place as long as the city has bathrooms unlocked and trash is empty a lot of room for football basketball and decent kids play area good for birthdays
Great park. Had a blast there
I grew up in that park played there sunrise to sunset from 3 years old on stagecoach park
Coming from a tourist perspective, not the best place to take the family. Bathrooms were gross and not in the best neighborhood.
