Peterson Lake Nature Center

It is a great city park with wooded walking trails, boardwalk to the river, lakes to fish in. Soccer fields and baseball fields.

We had a 5K in the park today and it was gorgeous! Even if it was freezing and the trails had been turned to mud by the runners faster than me. It was beautiful, and I plan to go back to visit without 500 of my closest friends.

It was fun but quite chilly with the wind blowing.

Beautiful all purpose nature trail and sports park. Soccer baseball fishing hiking and kids water park safe cleanand bashfu beautiful.

Nice place to take family. It was highly crowded when we visited. We did not use the trail through the jungle though. Will be an adventure for some future time.

We take our granddaughters here every time we visit them. If you have not been here you do not realize what a special place this is and how lucky Collierville is to have this gem!

Very peaceful easy walk.

One of the beautiful walking trail in Collierville, particularly the board walk and wolf river view. Early morning walk will be awesome with family and friends.

This is a beautiful, peaceful area. Theres easy access and close parking. Unfortunately, some people dont clean up after their dogs, so you do have to be a little mindful of where you step. Its definitely worth it for the relaxing view of the Wolf River.

Great place for a 1.5 mile walk in the woods. Also, you can expand your wLk to 4.0 miles if you take the trails. Also, the 1.5 walk is great for dogs

I love the boardwalk and the trails but I really wish people would pick up after their pets! Its ridiculous to have to avoid piles of dog poop on the boardwalk! Also, keep your dog on a leash! It is the law. Please be considerate of others! Thank you!

Its a very clean and beautiful park, plenty of things to do with the family

A beautifully maintained boardwalk through the woods and by the river. A chance to see wildlife. One of the things that makes Collierville a great place to live.

Me & my family had fun and were pleased with the park but the playground had some work left to be doneThat caused me to have some concern for the safety of all the little ones but other than that its a great place to have some quality time with your family

This boardwalk trail is to live for! Daily i look forward to hiking throughout the beautiful woods & to the Wolfe River. Petersons Lake Nature Preserve has live views of deer & the sounds of the birds are melodious.

Nice trail, great play area for kids and picnic place for families.

Nice nature trail to walk through. We saw a dear not 20 feet from where we were standing the last time we went. There is even a gazebo that overlooks the lake.

This park is huge and has great facilities. I like the nature trails which offer lots of shade.

This parl is very peaceful. I love taking walks on the trails every morning, it relaxes me.

This location on the east end of W.C. Johnson Park is fantastic as a part of the Collierville Greenbelt system with a boardwalk that extends further into the forest for walking and biking. Plenty of opportunities for bird and wildlife watching as well. Never gets too crowded.

Great place to exercise,many different natural environments in one area,paved walkpaths,near and around water,boardwalks and I enjoy turf fields to go a little harder than I do on harder surfaces
