If you have never came here I recommend you check it out especially during the spring time with flowers blooming! It was super pretty today and way bigger than I expected. They had a lot of benches where you could sit and relax. Overall it was super calming to come to the gardens and this was only my first time! I will definitely be coming back!
Very cute place to go!! They have several different gardens including a childrens garden. There are mock yards to help you get started on your own yard as well. Very informative. Lots of seating and shady spots. The volunteers that work there are very knowledgeable and had been working there for years. Theres also a large park next door if you and the kids want to make an adventure out of it. Its a hidden gem for sure.
Very cool place to visit! Quick lunch is served here and perfect place for family celebrations.
Beautiful garden with some well thought out pathways. I like how they divided the garden into different plant types and there’s plenty of spots to sit down and enjoy the views. Because of COVID some of the exhibits were a little wild or dried out, but it only added to experience. You can walk the whole garden in about an hour. But bring an umbrella for shade if you come during the summer. Only con, some parts of the garden are too close to the road/road noise.
Perfect for the family. Our little one thoroughly enjoyed the scavenger hunt provided. We will definitely visit again.
Beautiful and peaceful place to walk around, even though is small is great to see, if you have small kids take them there and pretend is a magical garden they would love it... experience talking also you can a plan a picnic there! Already did, was wonderful with kids. (Theres beautiful trees, patio decor and many flowers but still a small but nice place).
Very nice place to go with the family. I love the plant sales they have.
Beautiful place. Very peaceful. The staff are super friendly. They have some really nice examples of landscaping ideas for the valley. If you are a gardener at heart, this place is a must!
The Fall Plant Sale was such a joyful event! Thank you to the CBG Board for pushing through amidst all that happened in 2020!
We each lunch here once a week low key place, we actually eat in the parking lot or the picnic area by the park. Its hot here summer so heads up.
Quiet and serene. Next to a park so adults and children have easy access.
Everything was dry snd dead. So many spider cob webs on plants and we went in September, super hot and dirty. Couldn’t take any pictures.
Beautiful underrated place that everyone should visit and contribute to its existence.
Its cute. The entrance is the nicest part of the garden. The further in you go the less green and less maintained it gets there were some l. They have a small monarch butterfly(i think) zone but all the plants were dead They have lovely bushes of flowers that look similar to sun flowers, but A LOT of the flowers were covered in Mealybugs.Definitely donated to the garden.
Always a pleasure to visit, I always find something new
Great place to enjoy some social distancing with beautiful surroundings. Several great areas.
So pretty to stroll through. Its a real discovery for the kids.
Nice for a small park, trails easy for mobility scooter, it will get better when more plants fill in, room for potential, enjoyed.
This place is so nice and relaxing, beautiful
If you are looking for a nice tranquil place to go - here it is.
Beautiful scenery. A nice little escape from the bustle of Fresno. Pro tip: Dont avoid this place when its raining, the aromas and photo opportunities are plentiful! If you enjoyed it make sure to donate!!
Anytime you need to relax and enjoy a beautiful stroll through this Garden is always therapeutic for your mind body and soul.
Its awesome place to relax
Nice examples of plants. Closed Monday and Tuesday. Free admission, donations accepted.
It was closed. We were atDry Creek Park
️ ful place to hang around. The best part....they have wheelchair accessible parking and a public restroom!!! Comes in handy for a ️ emergency.
Loved it! Cool plants very well maintained. There is even a place with chairs under a canopy. Also places with benches throughout the garden.
Its beautiful
Nice little garden and park in Clovis
So many varieties to see and great gardening ideas. Very beautiful and well thought out gardens.
The gardens are beautiful. Loved the Sensory Garden- the chimes and huge xylophone was delightful. Tracey, the garden volunteer, was welcoming and informative. Cathy, in the gift shop, was super helpful and informative. Make sure to visit the Clovis Botanic Garden!
Stop by with my kids, and we loved it. Very beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed walking around and looking at everything.
We hosted a family event at the Clovis Botanical Garden. The facility was clean, the grounds were gorgeous and even though it was in the middle of August, everyone enjoyed our time together. Highly recommend the Garden for large group events—we had over 60 in attendance.
Very nice. Ok bathroom.
Some nice ideas for lawns and home gardens. Not a lot of variety but some.
They really need to keep up on the cleaning of this park. The trash dumpster smelled AWFUL. We almost didnt stay. And there was so much geese poo everywhere. Was not impressed.
Nice to get out
A lot of work done to garden in the 2 years Ive been going to park
It was free so no entrance fee. There were so many plants & it was great. It had all the names & locations of the origins of the plants. Also there were locations where it has info on what to look for when hiring someone for your sprinkler system, the types of soil, & plants for which type of care or weather. So much info & the worker was extremely pleasant
We love it here. The kids always enjoy exploring.
Great local botanical garden located in the Clovis/Fresno area of Central California. Docents are usually around and sometimes Master Gardeners are on hand to answer plant questions. Very educational, especially if you are looking for plants that use less water. Plants bloom and look great with some variance with the time of year/season so make several trips to really appreciate their beauty. This botanical garden can be viewed in 20-30 minutes or an hour or two depending on your interest. I highly recommend visitingg this garden.
The place was much smaller than I imagined and there isnt a lot of shade. So we didnt spend long here. But it was free and we got to see a few interesting plants. There is a park next to it where the kids could play, which also didnt have a lot of shade except on the playground equipment for the really little kids.
The docent who led our tour was very friendly and informative. My children have loved roaming the garden since they were very little. It is perfectly situated next to a playground with bathrooms and shade.
Been to many Botanical Gardens around the world. Clovis is true to its environment and shows indiginous plants with knowledgable straff. Well worth a visit if youre in the Central Valley.
Really quiet, kind of small but its fun for the kids. Has a nice variety of beautiful plants to look at.
Absolutely beautiful. Great place to see actual local plants and gardening ideas that work in our area. Great location to just be calm
Awesome garden. The caretaker is very friendly and knowledgeable. If you have time, go volunteer here!
Loved it my kids and wife and i had grate time
Loved it.
Nice quiet little area to meditate in, playground on the other side
Beautiful scenery and photo opportunities are plentiful!
Such a great place to unwind. Plants are labeled also so I learned a lot walking through the gardens. Such a treasure to have this in the area.
Great place for the family
This is a nice little garden with a good selection of plants. Labeling is not consistent and I had to rely on an app on my phone to identify many specimens. Overall a good experience.
That was an awesome day. Beautiful park. Two friends of mine got married. I even brought some cool plants...The wedding was perfect out there..
I would like to see it greener and later in three evening next time.
Astonishing place to get your exercisism on
Stunning plants and calm relaxing atmosphere
The volunteer this morning made all the difference. She explained the plants and took time to teach us how to identify them
We went for a relaxing walk thru the garden and wow was it nice! They have a cute gift shop up front dont pass it up they have some really cute and fun items for your home or garden :-)
Amazing, so many different kinds of plants and listening to music at the pavilion.
I came to the park across the intersection for photographers meet up and saw the botanical garden. It was close when i went there it also have a sign for 1 dallor donation at the entrance. I would love for fresno and clovis to have more attractions for photography and future generations.
The staff is very kind and eager to assist you with any questions or purchases or if you need information. The garden itself is always being worked on and improved. They also have events here thats great for the family. You can also reserve this location for a private event, which is awesome.
A good place to introduce your kids to plants of California. They have fun activities during the year, and Its FREE. Wheel Chair friendly. While your there, visit the Gift Shop.
Beautiful, but closed on Monday and Tuesday- so we will go back. Nice large wonderful garden
I visited in late August and found a lot of the display gardens to be in need of TLC. Maybe I will try again in the Spring to see things fresh and in bloom.
Great place to take the family.
We visited the park next door but my daughter wanted to visit the garden and so we went she explored and we learned about new plants and flowers took lots of pictures and had lots of fun and found out that they gives all kinds of classes for all ages and they sell the plants that they grow there it was a really nice day!
Beautiful & serene atmosphere..well kept..community involvement
Best park in Clovis! Plenty of shade and all kinds of play structures for different ages. We love the new musical area that was recently donated to the park as well. It can get a little too crowded on the weekends, though.
Amazing
Beautiful place to sit and relax or just walk around and see the beautiful flowers. Bonus its in the same place as Dry Creek Park so kids can go and play. There is a trail leading from the garden all the way around to the park. I love this place.
Its a cool small garden to visit if youre out in Clovis and have a few minutes
It was pretty nice, but the benches were covered in spiders, black widow and a few others
So pretty and peaceful. Lovely walk through this garden at the Dry Creek Park.
Love going here to take photos. There are some dry times, but that cant really be helped around here. Most of the year is nice, and its always peaceful.
I would love to give you a review on the Botanical gardens but I have not been there yet. Only to the park next to it to let my dog run around, sorry.
Great Place I suggest it as a must visit!
The botanical gardens are beautiful all year long. My grandson really enjoyed the scarecrows at Halloween time.
One of the best parks in clovis!!
Great place to get a quick workout in
I love walking through the many lovely vignettes. I often get inspiration for my own yard. This is a great way to enjoy natures miracle. Namaste ️
Such a beautiful quiet little place. Check their hours and days they are open. Take the kids! Its right next to the park and trail so you have something to do after with the little ones. If youre a student its a perfect place to study or read a book.
7 and 10 year old daughters enjoyed playground. Very nice variety of play equipment. We enjoyed exploring the exercise stations along the path. Looking forward to exploring the botanical gardens next time.
Its getting bigger all the time. A nice relaxing place to spend some time with family. Right next to Dry Creek park too, so the kids can have some fun nearby and then enjoy the botanical garden.
Such a wonderful place for a walk or to see and learn about plants, flowers and trees that do well in our area. (Fresno/Clovis) they have multiple concept gardens. Mediterranean, African, Australian, Desert, Succulent and Californian Native to name a few.
Very beautiful a good little exercise
Nice site near park.
This park is our go to park the only bad thing is the restrooms are dirty
Not much, but the musical chimes were very calming
So cute!! Great place to teach our one year old about flora.
Beautiful flowers and plants. Such a peaceful place.
