This was Soooo fun!!! My sister and I went on Friday and the $8 fee was waived if you came in your pjs! We picked out bisque ware and started painting. It took me awhile to decide what to paint on my pottery. So I didnt finish it and they wrapped it up for me to take home. I can come back again on a Friday in my PJs and finish them for free! Great fun!! You only pay for your bisque ware. They put a clear glaze over all and fire it for you. You can pick up in a week!

Had a fun time here taking my in-laws out to paint pottery. They especially liked that it was BYOB and could get their creative juices flowing. I think the prices for most of the pottery is very reasonable. We did 5 pieces for about $100

This is a tradition for my son and I. This year we made some fun stuff for Christmas.

I was very happy to find out that your studio was open for customers again. I spent many days there last fall working on specific pieces for my family and friends. They turned out beautifully and the staff were so nice and helpful. Im looking forward to doing more projects soon.

Fun times! I am not artistic but, it was nice to get a group together and laugh and paint. The space was nice, the teacher friendly and patient. Definitely a great thing to do with friends or family.

I always have a nice time painting pottery. Very clean and socially distancing is practiced. They have a wide variety of whiteware to paint, from beginner to advanced everyone will have fun.

Just stopped in here today for the first time. My friend and I have been really concerned with going out anywhere but man can I say the cleanliness of this place was top notch. The staff was super friendly and helpful the whole time. We had a blast. It was nice to get out of the house and feel safe. We will definitely be back soon. Cant say enough nice stuff about this place.

I always have fun here. The staff is super friendly, and their events are so much fun! The harry potter-y events are my absolute favorite. If youre a newer painter, they do a good job to help teach the basics. Theyre knowledgeable on techniques and help with more advanced painters as well. All ages welcome, and decently priced for the fun! Make sure to register ahead for events as they do sell out!

Staff was very helpful. My mom and I got a Groupon and CE made it very easy to redeem. You go in, pick your pottery piece. Put that at the table, which was very clean. Then go choose your paints. They provide a lot of helpful tips, though sometimes it can be hard to remember them all.

I just wanted to give a huge shout out to the ladies working tonight. They were so accommodating for my mother in laws birthday. They got all the tables going for the group of 8 (something I planned on doing myself) to doing a tutorial/walk thru for the entire group.Thank you so much for helping us make her night!!!

Making Christmas gifts here with daughters is a tradition that this year we shared with newborn granddaughter! Foot prints on star ornaments, best gift ever! Love coming here, staff is friendly and helpful. Love listening to families bonding over getting artsy!

I had such a good time this past Friday with a couple friends. The staff was very helpful and polite. It’s definitely a good place to just relax, enjoy good conversations with friends, the music they played sets a good mood, and overall a nice environment as you work on your masterpiece.

Can’t beat it when it comes to family fun time. My family will request time here whenever we’re together in West Des Moines, Iowa.

We brought 5 young ladies here tonight and the staff couldnt have been nicer. The girls had a great time. There is a lot of variety to choose from including pricing and pottery. We WILL be back for more!

Fun place but employees have an attitude

Im not artistic so this is not a place for me. My friend and I painted ceramic pieces. Other artistic opportunities are also available such as candles.

We had lots of fun here and the staff are quite knowledgeable. We were never offered aprons, but I see they are available since another reviewer mentioned them. She told us to pick out a figure and shed be back. She didnt come back so I had to look up the number, call and ask for her to come back. She did bond with my son and help him a bit with the intricate part, which we greatly appreciate.

I stopped in with a few girlfriends for a girls night. We love that we can BYOB, which makes it really enjoyable to just hang out and take your time painting. They have a LOT of ceramics to choose from, so if you have a hard time making up your mind, go in with a game plan! I decided to do a simple vase today, and I had a lot of time mixing paints and creating designs.I think the prices are good for what you get, and its been an enjoyable experience both times I have gone. It would be nice to see some new color options in their paints, and some other painting tools like thicker tape, etc. But overall, this is a great place for adults young and old, as well as children!

A piece of pottery, a soap bar, or a candle from here makes a perfect gift. I would say that its not just for kids; its for anyone whos feeling creative (or bored).

Things are a bit pricy and it saddens me that you can’t do a full project from start to finish, but the design aspect is a lot of fun! I still plan to come here as my go to gift shop for holidays and birthdays.

Hands down Glazed Expressions is the top do it yourself art studio that Ive ever been to and it was awesome! Laura, Maddy and the staff were super friendly and took the time to show us how everything worked, gave my three kids so much attention that we ended up doing pottery paintings and candle making within a decent time and everything turned out amazing! Thanks again, will definitely be back for the holidays so we can give out as gifts!

Awesome experience! My wife loves this place we come here often, and I have to say it is a pleasure everytime we come. We have celebrated birthdays here, datenights, stress relief outings, holiday gatherings (their holiday party in a box was such a cute idea!!), etc. The owner is very active and we have had great experience with the staff every time. Very helpful and all around great ideas for inspiration in the store. Saw some comments on prices, you have to remember that youre not just buying the pottery but there is a process that is done when you leave the store. We have never been disappointed with anything that we have made here. Take your time and create a masterpiece!!
