2 separate parts to the park. One part is groomed. The other side is more natural trail. Also a path for walking and biking.

This is a fantastic park to come to you to walk your dogs take a run or just walk around with your family. We have been here three times now and we have loved every time. So far we have found many paths to walk along and we have found the lake which is really beautiful and there are lots of native flora and fauna. There is a very large parking lot when you first come in which also has a hose so that you can wash your dog off after the walk. There are picnic tables further on when you drive down the road further into the park and that is where you will also find the lake. We saw the entrance to the paved bicycle trail so I don’t know how long it is.

After about 40 speed bumps, you get to the highlight of this hidden park -- a lake and boardwalk. Nice walking trails throughout. You can park and walk earlier, after only 20 speed bumps. Probably great for biking! Feels isolated but safe. Closing times not clear (per comment below).

What a great park to visit! It’s great for walking dogs and there is the most beautiful wooden pier with benches, right over the lake where one can sit in the sun and listen to nature. Plenty of birds. Lots of paths and space. As well as picnic benches. Would definitely recommend it

This place is a hidden gem. Its ecology is quite rare to this part of Florida, so far as I know.

Arrived at 6:00pm to capture a sunset along the lake at the dock. No signs posted as to when the park opens and closes. Packed up before the sun went down, only to be met by a closed gate, a whopping 1/4 mile away from the park entrance. I asked a woman walking if there was a way into the neighborhoods, there is not. I asked if she knew what time the park closed and she stated I thought dusk, but she walked through the gate 25 minutes prior. So are we closing early? Do we close at dusk? Do we know what we are doing?No posted signs as to when the park opens or closes. My car and another car or 2 were parked in front of the lake. So either these clowns are too lazy to get off tier golf carts to tell people they are closing, or they simply just closed up and did not do any rounds. I will never step foot in this circus again...

One of my secret spots to get away from all the public busy areas now. The lake is still beautiful and has been kept up since the early 90s when I was a kid.

Beautifully serene park. Its a great place to go for some peace and quiet, to watch the sunset, and to see local wildlife, trees, and flowers. The pier/boardwalk facing the lake looks brand new and is a great place to sit and enjoy the view of the water.

Standard park. Nothing too special. There is no bathroom, though the sign says there is. Cool views of the lake. A large trail goes all the way around the park. Also, there is an equestrian trail, so beware of horse you know what

Okay space. Way too many speed bumps. Trails okay. I was surprise at the lack of wildlife around the lake. Didnt see many birds, no alligators. Im not saying these creatures are not there. Just I didnt see much wildlife while I was there for an hour. I did like the small pier.

My dog and I biked there only to find out that the best part of the park there is to see is blocked off and youre not allowed in unless youre a boy scout or its trespassing...you could walk on the sidewalk by your house for better scenary

Very good bike walking trails, sun canopy, 2-clean picnic tables, parking areas. Grass cut detours snakes. Nice pier deck benches to view lake.

This park is set up for horses, but it is also a great place to bring your dog. Mine loved it. It is quiet and peaceful. The trails meander through the woods so you get a real sense of being farther away from the city than you actually are. Could use a few benches along the trail.

Very quiet. Rarely see more than a few cars at a time in there. Nice for a bike ride or a walk. Took the sidewalk entrance in one morning before they opened gates and noticed more people walking. Great place for a peaceful time with nature.

Live near by and love running this park. Great place to walk to dog too. Feels like you left the city and wandered off into the woods to get lost. Amazing how peaceful this place is and its right in town.

This is a nice quiet little park. Its a great place to take a stroll or to just sit and eat lunch on a break. Its amazing that such a place is hidden away from the craziness of everything going on outside its gates. Its a good place to recharge your batteries and to step back from everything whirling by in the world.

Nice walking, biking, horseback riding and fishing park. More for adults and their pets as there are no restrooms and no play equipment for kids.

Be better if they sprayed down the moskitoes. But one of the best best parks with a lake in Clearwater.

Like walking my dog here. Usually go in the morning, sometimes in the evening. Its quiet and lots of shade on the trails.

Nice little park with trails to walk your dog or bike on as well as a dock and lake to fish at. The new additions of the picnic tables, parking lot, and extra trails were a nice touch.

A beautiful smaller state park with good parking, including disabled parking, a nice walking trail and a pretty lake, plus ample picnic facilities. I almost dont want to post these comments, because I want it to remain quiet!!

Nice walking yrails but the city of clearwater destroyed the woods a couple years ago. Took down too many trees to count. They also use toxic pesticides on the trails where we walk our pups. Too many dogs getting sick from licking their paws. Very sad. They did put in a water fountain so that is a plus.
