Excellent hidden gem in the city with rooty trails along the cliffs of Silver Creek winding through dense Woodlands and grassy fields. Be brave and adventurous and this park is sure to please! Huge and clean with nice shady play structures for the kids.

Great place for the whole family! Whether your thing is golf, taking the kids to play at the park, photography, or relieving so stress with nature. This is a nice place. Check out the trails!

Checked out the frisbee golf, will be back with grandkids on the weekend. Stopped by Silver Creek scenic view and enjoyed the creek plus quite a few deer. Very clean park.

Beautiful shady park, playground equipment is rather old. Hiking trails are beautiful. Good to visit all year round.

Disc golf course was so much easier and playable than Charlie V. Good times.

I rated it 5 for convenience and you can choose a set of trails that will hit 3 miles without repeating part of the path. Most other trails near where I live have that option.

Awesome disc golf course. Great tee pads, great signage and a very challenging course that offers 2 different sets of pads, and multiple pin positions on every hole!

Delightful public park, with several trails, a creek view, Golf Course, Club house, disc golf, amphetheater, basketball court, restrooms, picnic tabkes, picnic shelters, a party house, swings, slides and a lot of pretty old growth forrest land.

Great place, not too far out of the busy streets yet still feels very woodsy. Saw 4 deer on our walk on the orange trail. Reasons I knocked a star, can still hear highway traffic which takes away a little from the relaxing of nature and also the trail markers are not kept up well and are non existent in a lot of places, so it can take some guess work to find the right trail path. Would also be nice if they marked the random trails cut out. Has 2 play grounds, golf course, basket ball court, frisbee golf course, cabin for events, smaller amphitheater, volley ball court, horseshoe rings, picnic area, restrooms.

Its a nice quiet place to get away.

I have lived in this area for 20 years and have known about Lapping park since I got here. I have watched this park for from a unsafe, dingy, known for druggie park so a very nice gem in the heart of Clarksville.HOWEVER, I just helped host a wedding at the rentable building onsite and let me tell you, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!The gentleman was late to unlock building for us and we has only 2 hours before wedding started to get set up, and did not seem to care.NO A/C!!!! For real? It felt better outside.The fridge DOES NOT WORK!There was mouse dropping everywhere.......EVERYWHERE! It was disgusting. Im pretty sure this place would get fined bigtime.The bathroom toilet clogged at the least little thing. We had to unplug it several time.350$ to rent building and ampitheater and it wasnt worth 100$Please beware!

Very quiet place for some short hikes in the middle of Clarksville. Very pretty amphitheatre with clean toilets at the playground.

Clean, peaceful and a lot of shade. Staff could clean up some of the dead wood laying around. Looks pretty shabby right now. We have been going there for years. It is especially beautiful in the fall.

I love love love this place. It is alway so neat, and clean. It is a beautiful park during all seasons. I take my family there everyother weekend. We love to use the grill, sit and relax. My daughter loves the play areas and exploring the trails.

Best park in Clarksville

Small but perfect park in Clarksville with a half mile track, gravel track, several dirt trails through the woods, and (though I havent used it) a new frisbee golf course. The park gets decent use during the weekends but generally its pretty calm. There is a walking path to the north that has some bee gardens where you can see monarch butterflies during migratory season. There are also several areas for kids to play with sand and jungle gyms and swings. You can also reserve the picnic areas, amphitheatre and building in the middle of the park for events.More than half the park is well shaded by huge trees and about half the main walking path is under the canopy even during midday.

The park was clean and there were several play grounds for kids to play on. There were basketball goals with nets and there was a disk golf course. The baskets on the disk golf course were in great shape. There were bathrooms available in multiple places. I felt safe the entire time i was here.

Lots of shade and plenty of wooded walking trails.

We love lapping park. I like that it is so well shaded for super sunny days. There are two playgrounds that are separated by a bit of distance for younger and older kids. There are several great trails in the woods for hiking.

The trails are nice. My kids enjoy the playgrounds. Very nice nature getaway.

This is a nice place. One wouldn’t think that such a cool park would be hidden right in the middle of a commercial area but this is a nice park.

Lapping park is a pretty place to walk or jog, its dog-friendly which is always a plus! It has two different playsets for children with parking beside both sets, whoop whoop!

This park really has it all. Plenty of parking. Nice selection of playground equipment for the kids. Excellent disc golf course. Plenty of wooded trails to take a walk. Ive been here 20+ times, always feel safe. A nice little gem.

Very nice park with hiking trails. We took the Silver Creek trail today. I do wish that the trails were marked better when you come to a fork you dont kni which way to go so it was a guess which is fine if you have time to kill and no one has a hurt foot trying to make it through. So it is needed to have the trails marked properly.

The playgrounds are well shaded, which is great in the summer. The trails are well kept, though they are often very muddy in large sections after rain or snow.

This is such a great park in a busy city. It is quiet and clean and lots to do!

It was great. Room for dogs and play ground for kids shelter and picnic tables and trash cans! Shade trees too. We had a good time even though not e everybody showed up. Their was enough to go around and then some. We played games, told jokes, swapped recipes, in general just had a laid back afternoon of a good time. Easy clean up to boot and back off the road we could enjoy other walkers, trekkers, and users of the park without us disturbing them or they disturbing us (dogs included).

Love the amount of shade this park has. We also enjoy hiking the trails.

Amazing hiking right in Clarksville!

I love the walking trails around the park. Trees cover the area, providing lots of shade. My sister and I love grabbing food and visiting the park. Our favorite spot is near the silver creek trail!

A great place to take your kids and a good place for a family get together, it has swings and sliding boards in the playgrounds and a community house

I love Lapping Park! Such a nice park, lots of hiking trails, 2 nice playgrounds, a really nice bird watching station and now they have a disc golf course!! The buffalo they used to have when I was a kid growing up are gone, but its still a GREAT park!!

Great little park! Tucked back in Wooded View Golf Course, along Silver Creek. Beautiful in the fall and nice beginner hiking. It has a shelter cabin (enclosed 2 story) and several outdoor shelters. I have attended family weddings, graduations, birthdays and parties of all kinds at this location.

Quiet, shaded playground with several different playsets. The bathrooms are awful though.

Good disc golf venue. Super tight woods. My assessment will improve once teepads are installed and the rough gets beat down with play. Still, if they removed like 25-30% of the trees near the fairway it would be ideal.

The lodge here is nice, but the park is creepy. There were profanities written all over the tables. We stopped in for a picnic, but I quickly lost my appetite and we left. Not taking my children back there.

I play a lot of disc golf at Lapping Park. As of Jan. 2018, the 18 hole course is unfinished (no tee pads) but is well designed for pros or amateurs alike. Besides that, there are many walking trails, most with gravel, and plenty of playground equipment for kids. Highly recommend a visit to anyone near the Clarksville area!

A great little park to bring the kids. Its adjacent to Silver Creek, which is great for a little fishing. And nature hikes for the little ones. There are playgrounds, grills, and benches. Also plenty of grapevines.

Very wooded course, its cool but some holes really feel like they just stuck a basket in the middle of nowhere. Fun trail to walk though.

Cool trails to walk around on. Has some old basketball goals that are somewhat fun to play on. A good are to toss a pig skin.

I love this park, they have great trails to take, I always take my dog here to get exercise and free roam, and theres a nice creek that runs through the park.
