Very nice small park with gorgeous river views and easy access fishing and picnic sites...one of my favorite spots..
We took Finn to see the cabin. Its got such a pretty view (the mosquitoes like to ate us alive and the best view there smelled like pee) but all that aside if you wanted to picnic early in the day its not bad. Weve been in the spring with the flowers blooming and its just picture perfect
Website has great pics. This place is linked to Vincennes, IN, so I wanted to visit. Not much to see, but we walked down the boat launch to see the Ohio River up close and Falls of the Ohio.
Historic important site. Reason Lewis & Clark started the Louisiana purchase western exploration journey at Falls of Ohio River is because Clarks family lived here on the western frontier (at the time). Standing at the Clark home looking over the river one can imagine what it was like to begin their adventure.
Nostalgic history buffs and natural wonders dream
Great. But the boat tamp us still closed for some reason.
Clean and well taken care of.
Good view of river but the cabin as closed
Very nice little park, next to the Ohio river. The day I discovered this place, it was closed, but will return soon to venture into the past.Bonus! Its only a few minutes away from the Falls of the Ohio state park, and Big 4 Bridge!Explore it for your self, and Make a day out it !
One of my fav places to go, wish they would have the cabin open more for tours.
Cool, small place. Good place for afternoon picnic under a shelter located near Boston ramp in Clarksville.
Pretty cool.
Absolutely love it here. You can walk through a replica of George Rogers Clarks cabin or my personal favorite fishing the Ohio River. Ive been fishing here ever since I can remember and even if I dont catch anything its a great place to be.
Nice hidden jewel.on good walking trail
Pretty cool place. Like the historical information they have. Would be nice if the opened the servant quarters to see how those conditions were.
Love this whole lil area! Ill grab some pics next time lol
Awesome place to relax
This is a hidden gem. We had ridden past this site several times and didn’t realize it was there up on the hill overlooking the Falls of the Ohio and the Louisville skyline. The rangers on duty that day were very informative and pleasant hosts.
Loved the walk from New Albany. Such beautiful sight seeing and the seeing the Falls from the cabin was breathtaking.
Great place to visit. They were so enthusiastic about the home as well as history of it & the area. They made it to where my 6 year old even loved it! They also taught us how to throw an Atalattal (IDK if the spelling is correct). Definitely recommend!!
Beautiful site
They have done great work here. Come see the new improved signeage.
Great place to stop
The park, display, and Greenway with bicycle path creates a wonderful historical and interesting place.
Nice place for a picnic. View of Louisville skyline and the damn.
Good old history just a shame our history is getting erased
Great History
Fascinated with local history! Had to see the George Rogers Clark homestead since we live just across the river from Vincennes (where his memorial is located). The grounds seemed to be kept up regularly, just the log house & a couple out buildings, as well as a historical marker for the Lewis & Clark expedition. Beautiful location-overlooking the Ohio!
Love it
The cabin is a beautiful representation of the housing from GRCs era.
Worth going to see if its on your way, but I wouldnt make the trip just for this. Would be better with more interpretive signage.
Very good when guides are present or events are occurring; average otherwise. Great views.
Enjoyed walking around this fine little park. Its off the beaten path but worth the trec.
Great place to see. Would do it again
The cabin was nice but wanted to know more about the place.

Very good setup good place to take the kids for some history lessons
Nice. Quite. Walking paths. Water fountain.
Its a neat place to catch some local history & historical craftwork, and a reliable spot to observe Ospreys. When the foliage is barren, bald eagles as well.
Great historic display! Beautiful setting and view!
Quiet, scenic woodlands in the heart of metropolitan area. Awesome.
