Seriously come here all the time. Food is great. Drinks are awesome. Servers are awesome. Theater is always clean. Love it. Comfortable seats. Games and trivia nights. Its a great place.
Great concept. Good screens and sound. Poor execution. Eastgate Brew & View does a lot of things right. The pizza there is great. The popcorn is always fresh. The ability to press a button to get refills on your drink or popcorn is fantastic! On Tuesdays they even have free all-you can eat popcorn (not sure how long thats gonna last). However every time we go, there is some sort of issue with either delivering the correct food or with the bill. The last two times we went to the theater, we ended up receiving our food for free. The first of the two free meals was due to the theater completely losing our order! The second time we received our meal free was because they ran out of food in the kitchen after we placed the order. On another occasion, I ordered the brown sugar lemonade, which I never received but was charged (they promptly removed it). Ive seen 6 movies there and only 2 of those times were problem free. Most of their staff are high school teenagers with very little experience and they all seem to be lacking good training and management. Despite all of these issues, I still rate it 3 stars mainly for the great quality of their projectors, sound, and their free popcorn and drink refills. From now on, Im not ordering any food... just popcorn and drinks.
Awesome beer selection. Typical bar food. The service in the lobby is great. We’ve had mixed results in the theatre but it has gotten better since the beginning. Good choices in films and love that you can preselects your seats!
4.5 Stars: Been there four times and enjoyed it. Nice, clean, decent food and service. Comfortable seats and good view of screen. Easy on the ears for those with sensitive hearing. Great popcorn!Needs tiny bit of improvement in food and service. Order sheets too floppy, be better on postcard stock to stand up in rack. Attach a pencil as they roll away often. We plan to go back. Breakfast at the movies is great and we love it here. Please never cut out breakfast!
Went to see Logan tonight and the service there is terrible. Me and my wife ordered our food and drinks around 9:05 or 9:10. My food and drink came out around 9:45 and my wifes never came out. Went out in the hall to find someone to ask about her food and drink and the lady said she would look into it. Waited about 20 minutes and still no food or even a drink, and she ordered water. Walked back out a second time and spoke with the guy and he again said he would look into it and this time someone brought her water and had to ask again what she ordered. It then came out 20 minutes later roughly 30 minutes before the movie ended. When the bill came you would have thought they would have taken a little off of it for the foul up but that didnt happen. When checking out told the guy about my experience and he didnt seem to care and told me to have a nice night. Needless to say I will not be going there again. Also wanted to not the theater I seating is not very comfortable for being a theater/restaurant. Could not really get comfortable through the whole movie because they pack you in like sardines. Avoid this place and go to the similar theater in Blue Ash you will be much happier.
Concept is amazing, service is less than. Been twice, the first time was amazing, but the second time was a joke. Staff was not the most organized, and ticket times were off the wall. We were actually brought the wrong food, not once. But twice. If you want a good night you are better off going to a nice restaurant, then follow with a movie theater.
Went to the bar waiting for the movie passengers to start Mike was our bartender. He was awesome and very friendly! He made helpful recommendations for new drinks to try. He is very knowledgeable and really cares about the consumer if you go to the bar definitely order from Mike.
Enjoyed myself here. The seats are very comfortable the food that I had was tasty and plentiful, and despite my assumptions the help walking in and out of aisles wasnt as big of a distraction as I thought itd be.. Well see how bad the waiter silhouettes would be if every seat was filled though, or if youre not in the back row.Cons---Pretty expensive for what you get sometimes, but for a movie theater, ends up being pretty familiar. You get plenty of wings, another person in my party got nachos for the same price, barely had any chips.---Yes they will block your screen for a moment, but this is a pretty poor con, you should expect that if you come here.Pros---The help are very nice and care about what theyre doing. We actually had some mishaps with food orders, but they cared about it so much, I didnt have a problem with it, even before they offered to void the charge of the late-coming food.---The seats are very nice, nice space, unless you are a childs height and someone 65 sits in front of you, no one will block your screen with their head.--- The movie screen looks very nice, and the projection is on par with other cinemas. Very nice for an up-to-date theater in Eastgate finally; dollar savers dont have a place in the world anymore with the ease of digital purchase.~~I only give 4 stars because its not budget friendly, I might not come if I dont want to spend extra on food because then waiters are in my view for no benefit to me. Every now and again I would come, but its not a cheap night with the normal price ticket and then the price of food with a tip (which they do surely deserve if they keep up with their current quality).. but its a blow to the wallet.
Comfortable seating, cool menu options. I have had a few cocktails here they were always good. The only food Ive had was their nachos, I didnt care much for them, I wouldnt order them again. Their popcorn was decent, it was typical movie theater popcorn. The sound system and screen and interior is gorgeous. I feel like for all the place offers the price they charge per ticket is more than fair.
Is a great place. Very good craft beer selection. Not overly fancy but very nice atmosphere. Prices are moderate for food. Very adult atmosphere which I appreciate.
Good movie, poutine and Brussels sprouts pizza were both very tasty! Only thing lacking for a 5 star review was I wish the waiter would have brought me a water refill instead of me having to call and ask for it - he visited the table and could see it was almost empty but never brought one when he came back.Other than that - great!
Went for a Sunday night showing of Spectre and have to say this might be my new go to theater. The service was great. Food ordered from and delivered to you seats/table. Endless popcorn and drinks that you dont have to get up and miss part of the movie to refill. The menu had a wide variety of foods. The hot Italian sandwich I had was delicious.
This has become my go to place for movies. Its not super crowded, the food is very good, and its an all around enjoyable time. I have to give a special positive word about Mike the bartender. I have gone about an hour and sat at the bar the last two times, and Mike is absolutely great. Super knowledgeable, has great recommendations, takes great care of me, and makes me want to come back.
I love this theater my mother and I attended here to see Dont Breathe, very nice and really different. Instead of you getting up from your set to get something to eat and carrying it back into the theater room, they have waiters that come to you . You have your set that you can adjust with your own table, with that comes a menu and you place your order in of what you want to eat they even offer foods like burgers and other stuff. The waiters come and take your order of what you wrote down from off the menu and then they bring it to you, the lighting is good enough to see while your eating but also dark enough to still enjoy the movie as well. I think every theater needs to be like this I loved it ha.
Only one person selling tickets so long line greets you. Servers are nice but lack direction, food is okay if you can get service.Hoping for improvement soon.
I have never been to a movie theatre like this! You pick your own seats, tableside service while in the theatre, and a delicious choice of beer! We had a sampler of beer we had never tried while watching our movie, was fun to try new things! Upon leaving, they had live musicians playing in the lobby. A real unique experience!
The seats were great!!! great sound system... Food was not that great. Good popcorn and value. would go back for the movie but not the food. We only get popcorn next time.
As a concept its nice, food + movie = good times. But in practice this place doesnt. Walk in and buy a ticket...standard. Then buy a beer or two at the bar, a good selection by the way. Bartender was good, polite and knowledgeable. Then its downhill. Sit down and fill out a card. Place card on the end of the table. Half an hour later someone might pick it up. We asked for two beers, drew a big two with a box around it. 45 minutes later, cold, overpriced bland food arrives with one beer. We ordered two beers. Server says the other one must be at the bar...you know where the beer is. 15 minutes later we walk up to the bar, no bartender. Give up, go back to our seats. The theater is fine, nothing special. Dont order the bad food or expect service from anybody and youll be fine, but, then why go here at all?
Plenty of room. Great service, never had to ask for a refill. Food was quite expensive but top notch. Best burger ever. Will definitely come back but will eat somewhere else before the movie. Two meals and two tickets...almost $60. Very fun experience though.
The seating and isle spacing is a major plus for us since we have a bit more in the size department. They are wide and very comfortable. The food is good and we like the full service aspect. We do find it a bit difficult to eat a full meal in a darkened room while trying to keep track of the movie.
Good deals on Tuesdays. Free popcorn and 5 dollar movies, half price appetizers, and 4 dollar beers. Poor wait service but cant beat the prices.
This place is absolutely wonderful! Fantastic service during the movie! Pricing for food is very fair in my honest opinion and tastes great! I highly recommend going here for your next movie outing!
The concept is great, the service is hit or miss in the theater itself. When its good though, I certainly enjoy it. I really do enjoy going here just to sit at the bar sometimes. Great variety of Beers and wonderful Bartenders.
From the start, service was very excellent. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable of the many beers on tap. We arrived 15 minutes early for drinks at the bar, took them into the theater 5 minutes before the movie started. We looked at the menus at the bar and were ready for food selections in the theater. Service was quick with orders and delivery of food. The trio sliders were delicious and the fish and chips were okay. Dogfish 90 minute IPA was an excellent pairing. Just be forewarned that service during the movie is iffy.
Nice, friendly service, clean and family-friendly. We love the $5 movie Tuesdays with free popcorn, too. This is our favorite theater.
I have been to the Brew and View several times and would rate it as a 4 out of 5. Every time Ive been Ive had great food (pizza, fruit and veggie plate, artichoke dip, carrot cake, popcorn) and drink (wine). However, sometimes the service can be slow, which I think is more them trying to get the kinks out. The longest Ive had to wait was about 45-60minutes, but the majority of the time the wait is much better. All in all Id recommend it and have and will be back.
When you get a ticket, they assign a seat and you can see the distribution of other patrons when you choose; nifty. Also, trivia on Tuesdays is great. They offer half price apps if you are playing.
Staff was very friendly!! Food was delicious. Service was quick and helpful waitress. I know they had a rocky start but truly believe that was a lack of training. Will def be back.....a lot!!!!!
Movies are good, sound quality is acceptable. Its nice to watch a movie and have dinner at the same time as a parent that didnt get a lot of time for a date. Sometimes they are slow and food isnt the best, but for two in one is hard to beat.
My husband and I were both excited for this experience. And it was absolutely awful. The movie was great. But the service is terrible. I didnt even get to taste the food. It never even got to my table. We got there 30 minutes before the movie. 25 minutes go by my husband went to the bar for our drink. 10 minutes into the movie someone FINALLY decided to come to our table. She darted by and grabbed our food slip NO STOP. Nothing more. An hour into our movie I go and get refill from the bar. At the end of the movie someone FINALLY spoke to us. The first server we had. Told us he was sorry and we can still pay for our food and take it home. ARE YOU SERIOUS?!
The concept is great, but needs a lot of work. For starters, the wait staff and kitchen need to be better prepared for this. They also need to just remove the front row of seats, they are absolutely pointless, you cant even see they are so close. If you choose to go get your tickets early and if everything else is gone but front seats for the love of God go someplace else.
Great experience during a weekday. Only one in the theatre so I didnt have to sorry about bothering other patrons to order. I understand the limitations of a place like this but you gotta take it in stride and just enjoy your experience while sipping a delicious brew and the food is good too.
Best movie theater since the rave in Milford, awesome atmosphere and entertainment aside from the movies, with music and trivia nights. Had problems at the beginning with service and getting cashed out, but those have since been fixed. Rather your in the mood for a movie or a chill hangout spot, this is the place for you!
Nice theater with a giant list of beers to pick from. Good choice of food though receiving said food during movie is a slight distraction. Seats are comfortable with a table in between every 2 seats. The table is slightly higher than comfortable but is ok. My complaints are the chairs dont have a foot rest and the table for food is on the small side.
Concept is very appealing. Seats are very comfortable. Major problem when the wait staff never comes to take your order (never saw a server in our theater the whole time). Had to leave movie and go to the bar to order drinks, which defeats the objective of the theater. Still would recommend if you are only having drinks but if youre hoping to eat you may have a problem.
The theater is nice if you plan on simply watching a movie. However, if you are going there to expect food, youll be disappointed. Second time in a row, it was nearly 30 minutes before anyone even picked up our order. We only ordered popcorn and there was about 15 minutes left of the movie before they brought it out. As the movie credits were rolling, I saw them hustling to bring other peoples food out to them. I dont think theyre staffed enough to handle the work load of managing food service.
Such an improvement! Weve been going to EBV occasionally for over a year now because of convenience, but we have had some mediocre experiences under the previous management that caused us to drive past the theater to go to another further theater. We went to see Wonder Woman on opening weekend and did not realize the call lights on the table were working. The management was super apologetic and even comped us some appetizers for our confusion. I think weve found our new movie theater.
Mike at the bar was great fun. Had a blast talking with him an couple of regular. Great selection of beers and wonderful mixed drinks
Super cool place! Food is good, staff was nice, facility was very clean.
Great beer selection very knowledgeable bar tenders, definitely worth going to if nothing else for the food and the bar then a movie afterwards. The bar and kitchen staff are great, the theater staff not so much. Theyre slow to take orders and bring food etc. Thats the only reason I take away a star, but its understandable given theyre mostly kids working a part time job. Great place to take a date.
Love the online prices, the comfortable seating, and intimate theaters. Disliked having to choose seats in advance without being able to see who you were sitting by and getting food and drinks is a slow and kind of awful process. Didnt show up with bill until 5-10 minutes after the film ended. Ill definitely return to see movies here. Not so sure about dining.
The place looks great (definitely better than it used to). Picture quality is perfect, viewing angles and seat spacing is nice. Seat pairs share a table. Sound is really good. You can purchase food and drinks however I think its a bit pricey for a movie theater (probably eat before you go if you want to cheapen a date or something). My only problem was with the popcorn. You can get refills but it comes in a metal bowl and I dont know if you can take the leftovers home or not.
The food is good, but service is epically bad. First two times I had to track down the server to find out where our drinks were. Lastly they wait till the movie is over before dealing with paying. Is a be simple to stay a TAB by taking a card and process it at the end but instead we end up sitting there forever waiting for them. Probably not coming back.
This was my first visit to Eastgate Brew and View. Went on Valentines day which might have had an impact on the service we received. Ordered food and drinks at our seats before the movie even started, waited over 25 minutes for the drinks to arrive. Food didnt show up until an hour and fifteen minutes after we ordered. This was after having to track down the server to ask about the food. Food was ice cold which is the last thing you want when your paying $13.50 for a burger.Overall not impressed.
Had a fantastic evening - theater was clean, comfortable, and has lots of legroom. Service was terrific (Oscar) and food was delicious. Seems they have settled into Clermont nicely. Definitely going back!
Best place to go on Tuesdays! $5 movies and all you can eat popcorn! My only complaint is sometimes the noise from the adjacent theatre powers through the walls.
They were showing a kids movie before the film I went to for a group of day care summer camp students. Its really great that they do this, but for some reason it delayed the start time of my film by about half an hour.
My husband and I went to see the forest which wasnt scary at all but thats a different review all together. We use to go here all the time when it was Danberry and they definitely improved the looks of the place both inside and out. But it was so bizarre having to pick then pay for our choice of seat. Once we found our seats we immediately starting picking out what we didnt like. Which there are tables in front of the seats, the waitresses kept getting in the way of the movie and they got our order screwed up. We ordered a sprite, Dr Pepper and popcorn. The menu clearly stated they had Dr Pepper but the waitress said they didnt so he ordered a cherry coke....15-20 minutes later we finally got our order and guess what...the cherry coke didnt taste like it at all. Wasnt even sure if it was drinkable so once the waitress came back about another 20 minutes later he ordered a sprite instead. And another 30 minutes pass and she brings out another cherry coke. That time it tasted right. Fast forward to the end of the movie and we start walking out not paying for the food and drinks they had to stop us in the middle of the hall to let us pay for everything. Ugh. Needless to say we are sticking with the other theaters. I do not recommend this place. Thanks for reading.
This place is a hot mess. Popcorn sucked, messed up orders galore and at the end of it all we ended up with 3 bills. This place has one of the most disorganized staff I have ever seen.
I think this is a great concept. I believe the prices are way better than most theaters when it comes to popcorn and soda. I will recommend place to all of my friends.
Nice venue. Good menu. Food was good and flavorful. Viewing area was clean with comfortable.
It was great. Enormous amount of popcorn that they bring to you. No waiting in lines for food. You just go, get you ticket, pick your seat, and then when your ready order the food. You dont have to pay until after the movie is over.
We went here to see Wonder woman at 10pm and ordered drinks before the movie started, then we went to order another drink 30 minutes into the movie and they told us the bar was closed and we could not get any more drinks. This was just annoying because that is the point of going to a brew and view. Our server did offer us free pop for the inconvenience and was very polite and apologetic which is why I gave two stars. The service was kind of slow also. It took a long time to get food and drinks. I dont know if it was because we came on a Sunday night but if youre open for business then you should be fully operational.
Very nice theaters and accommodating to us for the 48 Hour Film Project! Love this place! Highly recommend.
Similar prices to what you would spend in a movie theater. In fact, perhaps a bit cheaper. Lots of leg room and very comfortable. PERFECT for my son with Down syndrome who likes to move a lot and loves to eat!! Service was just ok, but very comfortable!
Great service, nicely remodeled theater. I was thrilled to witness the improvements made to this venue recently. Look forward to coming back!
Was good but they shut down.
Reserved seating. Food is good. Nice variety of beer and the seats are comfy for bigger folks
Had a rough initial experience and management has sent me passes to come back on their dime. Got a great response from management. Looking forward to a better experience and a much needed entertainment venue in Eastgate.
Excellent place to watch the latest movies. Best in Batavia and surrounding areas. Our family loves coming here. Food is great and reasonably priced.
Super comfy seats, heaps of leg room. Love being able to select seats online, so you dont have to be there an hour early to get a decent seat for a new release. We ordered the poutine and spinach artichoke dip, which I cant recommend, but hopefully they have other menu items that would be better. I give it 5 stars anyway because even if they didnt serve any food, the other positive qualities are worthy.
My husband and I go here almost exclusively for our date nights without the kiddos. Its roomy and comfortable and the food is really good and the drinks are great! The service people are friendly. The theatre is clean and the picture is clear, we love this place.
Eating and drinking while watching a movie, whats not to love!? Good food, decent prices, and the new service now button makes it my favorite place to watch all the new releases.
Awesome experience, very cool getting waited on while watching a movie. Great food to snack on while watching a movie. Awesome food menu and drink menu!
Ive had french toast at the location which was ok but not great - if your going for dining purposes many of the locations nearby offer a tastier version. I have not tried the other options located at the location yet, however they have a very expansive menu compared to other dine in theaters I have been to.Seating at the location, while spacious and comfortable, is not stadium style seating like the other theaters close by and I found the audio quality to be lacking - On my return visit I opted to try out the hearing impaired option for the location and they provided me with a rather comfortable headset that played the audio along with the movie that I could adjust the volume on and remedied my complaint with the audio and in fact enhanced the experience. While my visits have been enjoyable, this is more of a place to go on occasion rather than replace my normal theater experiences in nearby areas.
Best movie experience Ive ever had. The staff was so polite and courteous, the food and drinks are actually very good and it was so comfortable!
This place where you eat and watch a movie at the same time is just different and fun! They have the best popcorn I have ever tasted, and its an adventure to go out to dinner and see a movie. We need more places like this.
Excellent and prompt service. We arrived at 7:00 on a Friday night only 5 minutes before the start of our movie, were able to quickly procure an adult beverages for myself and my wife from the bar, and still made it in time for previews! Very friendly staff, great atmosphere, comfy seats. Couldnt be happier!
We really wanted to love this place. We went on a busy Saturday night. We picked up drinks at the bar before entering the theater, we got in our seats 30mins before the movie started and filled out our order. We didnt see a service person until the movie started when they picked up our order. We were never checked on again. Not even for refills of the drinks we purchased at the bar. The movie was just over 2 hours long, literally 5 minutes before the credits started the theater and everyone who ordered still had not recieved any of their orders or drinks. As the movie ended some orders began to show up, in which people rightfully declined accepting them because the movie was over and it was 2 hours after they ordered. We spoke with a manager who did refund us our tickets but mentioned that the owner continues to stack too many movies around the same time on the weekends and it creates a big back up for the kitchen, that they simply cant handle the orders coming in. He also said its been like this for 5 weeks. Pretty disappointing. I hope they can improve their level of service and create a better experience. We left hungry and aggravated.
The theater part of this place is actually very nice and renovated, and the food itself was decent, if you get it. Theater service at this place is utterly terrible. 3 of the 4 times that Ive been, something was screwed up with the order, or we didnt get our checks until 10 minutes after the movie had ended. One time, we gave our credit card to pay and had to go looking for the waiter, after being the last ones in the theater, because he never brought it back. When going here, I suggest to arrive early and order things from the bar, then walk them to your seats. Doing this seems to bypass most of the problems in this place. As for me, I will be steering clear from now on.
The concept is nice but the execution sucks. Somebody needs to get back in the books and help organize the mess they have there. I feel like every time I come here I have to wait forever and half the time Im unsure who my server is. This last time, I swear I had 5 people I was dealing with. One took my order, one brought my drinks out, another brought out my food, one came and grabbed my check and another cashed it out (which would explain why they screwed it up). I asked for sugar for the tea I was told was sweet and the first girl I asked never came back, so I had to wait for another server to come and bring me another drink. Then when they went to cash me out, I had to wait atleast 15 minutes for them to even come back with my card only to find out that they lost my other check that my son was paying cash for. The food is good and the atmosphere is nice but somebody needs to do some retraining.
I love coming to the movies here. Drinking a cold beer and enjoying a hot meal makes even the worst movies better and makes your favorite movie that much more special. When I come, I usually get the Chicken and Waffle or the Meat Lovers Pizza. Both are good options! There is an excellent beer selection on draft as well.Previously the service could be hit or miss, but with the recent installation of the call buttons at your assigned seat, the waiters and waitresses are quick to come and grab your order. The staff also does a good job of staying out of your way and letting you enjoy the movie.Almost every Thursday I play trivia at the Jungle Jims Paradise Pavilion, and this place will run food out to you on the patio, which is awesome. As far as the movie experience goes, I have no complaints. The sound and visual quality is excellent. This will always be my go-to for movies!
Ive not eaten here, but have seen movies here. We take advantage of the reserved seating option. I wish more theaters in Cincy offered that. The entire theater has been redone. I know because 20 years ago I worked there when it was a discount movie chain. The screens are bigger. No stadium seating though. Very nice sound however. I wouldnt see a huge blockbuster there because Id want a bigger screen. But for everyday movies, dramas, flicks you havent been waiting months to see, its a pretty good theater.
The staff is awesome, and very friendly. They have tons of beer to choose from. Add some movies into the mix and its a great place to go on a rainy day.
Looks brand new and very clean and spacious, we were at screen 4, the floor is not flat as another reviewer said, chairs were large, I am 65 and 350 and had plenty of room, even stretching out my legs there was another 1 1/2 to 2 feet of room in front of me. Seating chart is misleading, chairs are side by side with no spaces as it looks on the chart, I had an end seat and my table was on my left, then a chair and another table to share with the chair next to it, sort of like a small bowling table you keep score on, and they sit higher up than a regular table so you reach up for your food.Cup holders in the chair holds the glass, adult glasses are Hugh, I think 32 oz or more, at 4.50 and free refills, child size is small, at 3.50. We had the Rueben, potato pancakes, pizza and grilled cheese (9 + 12 yr. old boys) and everything was fine, we got there early for the movie and ordered in the bar area, then the waitress bought it to or seats when the screen opened up. Great Time!
I bought a coupon book and it had a coupon for 1 free admission. When I get there, they tell me that I couldnt use it for the movie I wanted to watch with my child. In fact, only 3 movies I would have been able to use it for. Thanks for offering coupons that you cant use. Plus the service was bad. Ill never go there again. Word of advice, dont plan on using coupons there.
If I could give it zero stars I would. We got there and sat down for being a new theater it looks old and dated. Seats are not stadium seating we were actually below the screen looking up which was unusual as the floor dipped down. We immediately filled out our food and drink order. Not one waiter came in for over 20 minutes, my wife went to the bar to get our drinks. The waiter finally came and took our food ticket. 90 minutes later our food came out and the order was wrong and disgusting. We got our food 20 minutes before the end of the movie. People didnt get their drinks until after an hour. As the credits started to roll the waiters were continuing to still bring out peoples food! That is ridiculous the service was horrible and the food was terrible and horribly overpriced. DO NOT GO HERE
The servers never came to me no one asked if I needed anything. Unorganized and horrible service since I never received it. Before that I went to see trolls and our food did not come till end of show, then had to wait for 20 mins after the show to pay. Horrible.
Not very expensive and it has that local business vibe to it (i dont know if its part of a larger company or not). The food seems quality, and they have a decent beer selection.
A great place for dinner and a movie. The food is good and the service is very attentive.
Poorly designed. The tables are too small, and too high for the way the seats are angled. The food was completely meh and totally overpriced for being so ordinary. Not a good choice for dinner and a movie. Not good for date night either - because the table service means the house lights are dimmed but are never off. The poor theatre experience overshadowed the excellent staff and freindly service. I may go back in a few months to see if it gets better. For now I will stick with their other theatre, the Esquire.
Nice change of pace. Food is ok, could be better. Staff is friendly and helpful theaters are large and seating is comfortable.
The overall environment was nice and clean. The people were friendly and werent rude. My main issue was the fact that I ordered loaded fries and a pizza. We were the first two people in the theatre and obviously the first to place an order. After 10-15 more people arrived in the theatre their orders were taken also. After about 15 minutes our drinks arrived. 45 minutes passed and everybody in the theatre had their food and was nearly done yet we had heard nothing about our food or if it was even being made. The woman who took our order actually didnt show back up until an hour and a half had passed and asked us if the milkshakes she was carrying were ours. She literally had NO CLUE that we were still waiting on our food. So when our food arrived it actually tasted like it had been sitting for as long as we were waiting for it. The fries were old and tasted like that were microwaved and the pizza was barely room temperature. We had to eat fast because by time our food arrived the movie was nearly over. And to top it all off they brought us the bill and expected us to pay for food we waited nearly two hours for. I cant say I would recommend this movie theatre to anyone. Or if you decide to go just dont order food! Since its been 48 hours and I still feel like Im going to vomit.(Ps) when the movie was over and the lights came on I realized how dirty our cups were. I would drink out of a used handed down cup at goodwill without even washing it before I would drink out of their cups again.
Went on Monday night to see the revanant. We spent $40 on food so its pretty expensive but it was delicious! great food and decent service, it was hard to get a refill on the drink, theater and seats were super comfy! I would definitely go back.
Good prices. Nice seating. Very comfortable.
I enjoy the seating, the clarity of the screen, and the quality of the sound at this theater. The food too is good, but its a tad overpriced and the kitchen is a tad slow. And they no longer have chicken and waffles, which was my favorite.
Now under new management, the experience offered here is a very nice one. A bar in the lobby while you wait for a movie (along with various arcade and board games), small outside patio area that will sometimes host acoustic bands, and food and drinks served to you while watching a movie.
I ordered a simple lemonade as the movie was starting. The rest of my group got their drinks, but still no lemonade. So we asked the guy that brought out their drinks and his response was Theyre making it and itll be out soon. Then we got our food, and still no lemonade! So I asked the guy who brought out the food, same answer. Over an hour after I ordered, I managed to get our server, Sapphire, to finally come over. I told her that since it had been an hour, can I just cancel the lemonade and get a Coke. She did apologize and brought me both a Coke and a lemonade and told me that she wouldnt charge me for either one. When the bill came, she took my card and when she finally came back, she had charged me $61.38 when my bill should have been $23.49. When I flagged her down and told her that it was charged wrong, she disappeared again, the movie ended and she still had not returned. She never took one of the other people from my groups payment either. So we pushed both of our call buttons. A guy came over and I said I need my card back, then the server finally comes back to take care of the rest of my group, but she didnt have my card! When I asked, she said the other girl had it! They finally came back with my card and proper bill and assured me that nothing would go on my card. When I checked my credit card, the $61.38 charge was on there as well as the $23.49! I couldnt go back that night, but the next day, the manager on duty was not able to credit it, the other one would be in the next day and he could fix it. In the meantime, an additional $15 was added for tip to the $61.38 charge. The other manager said shes normally really good. If there was a problem with the lemonade, then someone, particularly the server, should have told me and asked if I wanted to get something else, not keep ignoring me and telling me it will be right out. When I had to call someone again and again, then the manager should have come over since the server couldnt be bothered. When I had to demand my card back, the manager should have come over and at least apologized for the treatment. As it was, I couldnt fully enjoy the movie because of the bad service, then after my card was charged wrong and they took so long bringing it back, I couldnt concentrate on the end of the movie. Then we were late where we went next because of all this. The whole experience really ruined my day and made me leery of ever going back to this theater. Im keeping a close eye on my card, as of yet the refund the manager was suppose to put through, still hasnt come through and its been several hours since he was supposed to put it through.
Went there with a friend and my teenage daughter and had a great time. The food was good, service was very attentive yet discrete. Picture and sound was fine. I was worried there would be a lot of rowdy drunks but that wasnt the case. Even for Cinco de Mayo. So, excellent!
Tables dont swivel, awkward to eat without sitting forward. Staff was responsive, loaded fries were great.
Horrible! I wish I would have read the other reviews on here because it seems like a lot of people have the same bad experience. Me and my son ordered our food before the movie started. It was a kid chicken finger and fry and a club sandwich. We waited for 3/4 of the movie and the server didnt have a clue about our food. I told her not to even worry about bringing it. They werent that busy. It was an 11:30 AM movie. This was my first time there and it will be the last. I talked to other people after my experience and they have had similar problems at this place. Hopefully the management reads these reviews but it seems like its an ongoing issue so I doubt they read them or care.
Horrible customer service. Rude waiters when asked when drinks would be delivered. Ours never came. Everyone else got theirs without issue. Should have delivered late than neverI got snarky responses from my waiter. Only way I would visit is if I could have a free movie in exchange for the horrible service I got.
Good food. Good seats. Fun experience.
Eastgate Brew & View really needs to work on the dining experience. We ordered 2 soft drinks and popcorn. After 40 minutes had passed and we had not been served, I went into the hall to find someone to ask about our order. After 45 minutes had passed, a server was on the row behind us so I asked about our order another time.. 55 minutes after the movie started, we received our order. Very disappointing!!!
This place was on point tonight!! Service was awesome, food was great!! Wonderful greetings and customer service by all the staff!!;)
I normally do not feel the need to write a review for many places, good or bad, but with this place I can no longer refrain from urging those looking for a nice evening out to GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Ive been to the Brew and View many times over the course of its opening, and while Ive had a variety of experiences there, the most recent times have proven to me that it is very much on a downward spiral. The place was a hot mess when it first came around, which I forgave, expecting them to have hiccups while figuring things out. It seemed as though things were improving, the management and staff seemed very kind and helpful when things didnt go quite as expected, which seemed to be happening less and less. At least in my experience. You could tell they were trying. It was very exciting for my wife and I, as it was such a great idea for a night out away from the kids. Movies, dinner, beer!? Whats not to love? On weekends they even have music. The addition of the table buttons was such a great idea to improve service...or so you would think. They are really letting the place go. I have been there a few times in the past week or so and the place is DISGUSTING. My wife and I sat at the bar and ordered a drink before our movie and there were fruit flies EVERYWHERE. The counter was sticky and didnt look like it had been wiped down in awhile. The floor in our theater was also pretty rough, with spill spots and trash on the floor. Our server reeked like cigarettes, and she did not come back to check on us after she took our order, except to drop the bill. We did not receive refills, and we also had missing parts of our order. They have a new menu and the food was okay, nothing to write home about, and is still a bit pricey in my opinion. The price for sides is outrageous. We had our table light on for 20 minutes and nobody came, so my wife went out to find someone and our server was just hanging out in the hallway laughing with other coworkers as well as THE MANAGER! It was a girl with brown hair and she seemed dumbfounded when my wife inquired about our missing food. Is this really the new and improved management they keep bragging about? (They have a big sign out front promoting it) Shouldnt she be making sure people are being served and not just loitering with the staff? What a lazy bunch. Maybe they could be using all of that free time to clean something, perhaps the disgusting floors? Ive had issues in the past and they were dealt with much better than this. We werent even offered a discount of any kind. We received the same subpar service watching Wonder Woman this past weekend. The table lights dont help and you still wait forever. It takes equally as long to cash out at the end and more times than not you are waiting after the movie is over for your server to come back with your card. I was really rooting for this place. Such a cool concept. It saddens me to say, but go somewhere else. I know I will. It just isnt worth the hassle. Maybe they need new owners. Sigh.
The best place to catch a flick. I live one mile away from a movie theater in Dent (Western Hills area) but drive 40 minutes each way to see movies at Eastgate Brew & View. The menu is progressive and the staff is friendly. Who wouldnt want to watch a movie on a big screen while having a cold beer delivered to your seat with the push of a button? I love that the popcorn is popped in coconut oil and topped with real butter. Thats how I make it at home. The pizza with shaved brussel sprouts, bacon and goat cheese is amazing. I love that they offer brunch on Friday-Sunday. After the movie, I can pop into Jungle Jims for my weird grocery needs.
Authorized our card three times instead of once for our drinks, never brought out condiments that we ordered, had to go to bar to get drinks, food was not worth the prices that we paid. Was not to thrilled with the service that was provided for us.
Fun place to catch a movie and great local craft beer selection. The food menu is pretty good, quality and service are hit or miss.
The movie seats are slated in such a way that you feel like you are going to slide right out of them. However the bar area is good with a good selection of beers on tap.
