Dear perspective class members:After a trip to Italy, I was inspired to carve stone. I started John Leon’s classes 12 years ago and have been with him ever since. I continue to sculpt in stone and also now in wood and clay. John’s classes are very unique! Try to find any real sculpting classes in Cincinnati - they don’t exist. I just took my first sculpture class with John. He has a laid back teaching style that works very well. I think he is an outstanding artist as well as teacher. I highly recommend taking a class. Im going to do another so I can learn better how to sculpt with clay. My first piece shown here.
