What a delightful place for young children. They are exposed to different environments. Theres a camping room, farm area, veterinarian room, cafe room, etc. My grandsons loved the big pool of balls that they could dive into. This is a great find!

We loved this place, so happy to have one in our own town! Great place for toddlers and older ones 2+ages. They have a play store, a play cafe, a tree house (that they are working to make a two story) a veterinarian office, a farm, a quiet sensory room which is awesome. We will definitely be coming back!

Amazing place! Fun even for adults. We went with our daughter and 5-year old grandson. Many different rooms with different themes, camping, grocery market, dentist, veterinary, chicken coop, lego wall, huge building blocks, and my personal favorite made by Earls Plumbing. Its a wall of vacuumed clear tubes. You insert a piece of light weight fabric into one of the openings in the tubes, it runs around the tubes and gets blown out at one of the many exits and floats down.

So much fun! Unfortunately Chico doesnt have enough fun, indoor places for kids to play or to have parties/get togethers. this is not only a fun place to play but also a great place to learn, create art, listen to story time among many other things. We will definitely be going again!

An urban interactive museum where your kids can interact with each other and their environment. Theres a mix of building activities, from Lego walls and large foam blocks, to grocery store and cafe zones, and one cool sci-fi based area that shall remain nameless for you to discover. Given all that, some of the areas felt half-hearted, and there was a lack of take-home style projects/jobs, just some paints at the front. Still, a great place to let your kids have fun and explore, but the museum has left themselves room to grow.

Super fun for the kids and looks like they are always adding stufd. The people there are also super nice and totally understand kids.

Love that this place is now open and so affordable for the public to bring their kids through. They have some great exhibits and keep making it better inside. Highly recommend, its about 9$ per person / child at the time of writing this.

Super fun activities for children of all ages. Im proud to have a great community in Chico which was responsible for funding and contrubtions from businesses, and Individuals.

I am visiting from Texas to help my daughter with the children and she told me about this place and Im so glad she did. My grandson has autism and he absolutely LOVED this place! It was safe, clean, fun and the staff was very helpful and nice. So glad they created a place for kids to learn, have fun and play in a safe environment. When I come back to visit, Ill be sure to bring him back. Also, the director came out to personally meet myself and my grandson...loved the personal touch

This place is great. All of the kids ranging from 5 to 11 found something that they enjoyed. Everything is interactive and educational.

This is the only place to take the kids when visiting Chico California. Adorable setting with live tree in play area. Comparable to most Childrens Museums, only a bit smaller.

Wonderful hands on experience for or little guy. It tends to fill up very quickly and it is tough to keep a young child patient. Maybe some outdoor activities could be introduced to make the wait a little more manageable.

Our kids loved it! Its not a typical childrens museum, but more of a learn though play center. Can be pricey, especially with adults having to pay, but my four daughters spent over 3 hours playing, and could have happily stayed for more.

This place is a childs dream!!!! A year pass is the way to go if you plan to go twice a week. I paid $129 for the year, for two parents and one child. That seems like a lot until you realize how long it will take to give your child the time to explore each room.

The Kids had great fun here. It was mellow and everyone was friendly.

WOW! Hands on learning with innovative play and activity. Clean friendly a little expensive but for 3 hours in air conditioning worth it! Fun!

I consider this place as an indoor playground.I’ve been in many children’s museum around the world, and this one needs more stff to be called as what it says.Just a few tips... some science labs, small theaters, water area, music rooms, etc. Not only a few walls painted and some toys.My daughter had fun, like all toddlers would do. But, too pricey for just a couple of large rooms.

I actually do agree somewhat with the negative reviews about this place. It is more of a play place than an actual museum. I dont know how I would actually consider this place a museum except but they are fairly involved in the community from what I understand. But there arent really exhibits here. It is pricey for a visit especially when you pay for the adults, but if you buy the family memberships, it is quite a good deal for the year its show. A stop in anytime indoor playground. Also the staff is very patient and helpful.

Place needs some work to compare to similar type facilities in other cities. Themed wallpaper doesnt cut it enough to be an interactive experience.

I’m sorry to say but this place was a waste of money. We spent $41 for 5 people. The only one who could play was the 8 year old. The 14 year old was board and we had to pay for 3 adults to go in. It’s more like an indoor play place (where you sit and watch your child play) and nothing like a typical children’s museum at all. It’s meant for toddlers and very young kids....like 5 and younger.

If I had a typical kid, I would give this place 5 stars. My child is on the spectrum and we went thinking the sensory room would be fun for him. Unfortunately, it wasnt a sensory room. I appreciate the efforts but no one was whispering, kids were screaming, adults were talking at near regular volume about their work mates. I almost cried. I actually had to tell a mom my son was autistic and was terrified of clapping because she was yelling yay and clapping for her kid in the ball pit. I was fuming. I understand regular kids will have an extremely difficult time being quiet and so that will pretty much negate the usage fo this room as sensory friendly unless is it regulated. It was shocking to me that adults were so unaware of the intended purpose of this room. Paint some giant whisper! on those blank walls because the signs on the wall before you enter, and the small sign before you enter the ball pit are NOT working, or just give up on the idea that this is a place where kids with sensory processing disorder can come for some respite. My partner does sound and says the rooms could also benefit from some sound deadening material. The place is probably a blast for regular kids without hurdles to overcome in public places, but I kinda left feeling like I was a victim of false advertising and realizing how unaware people are of invisible disabilites, even though my son was covering his ears and leaving the room every time a parent or kid would get loud. They just didnt care.

Chico needs something like this, but maybe not exactly this one. Super expensive for not a lot to do, kids went through the whole place and were bored in an hour. Hopefully they continue to build out and improve the attractions. The location is unfortunate, between two bars and a tattoo shop. Plus, downtown parking is awful and theres homeless people everywhere.

Wonderful place to take your children and grandchildren....good hands on learning.

Great place to take a 2-10 year old. There are a lot of themed rooms, activities to do and a ball pit.

This establishment allows illegal campers to populate the front of the building at night. This in turn results in drug use, fights, harassment & a lack of safety for community members who like to walk or work at night in downtown Chico. It has been a menace & the establishment seems to expect the businesses next door to them to tolerate & police the issues for them. I have lived in this community my entire life & I work downtown at night. This issue has seriously escalated in the last year & I would really appreciate some steps made to help this public safety hazard.
