Theater Y is committed to providing free theater to the community. I have been to three productions there, and each production I have seen stays with me. I will say, though, that all the shows I have watched at Theater Y are intense and tragic. Maybe those are just the shows I have seen!
An amazing Europhilic production company. I saw quite a few of their productions in 2015: most memorable was Melissa buried in a mountain of CRTs in Becketts HAPPY DAYS, which was entirely mind blowing. I still havent recovered. Their real skill is in exposing what often seems so dead on the page to live audiences. Far more hit than miss. Doing it right, I would say.
A small local theater that centers around plays with a point of view. Very personal and only seats about 50. Try it.
An amazing company taking on spectacular works off the usual playbook.
Excellent productions
