Very nice accommodations. We were here for a Harvard Saint George High School reunion. Very nice function.
Another incredible Chicago institution. They bring some unique foreign performers and artists to this great city. I saw the Qawwali Sufi music outfit behind the timeless Kangna there in 2015, and also author Ishiguro before he got his prize. Theres a lot on and every reason to go there if you can.
Great space with excellent and truly diverse arts programming. A favorite place in Chicago to experience vibrant work with a connected, engaged audience.
Very nice
When the Center first opened they spoke of having regular jazz performances as part of their events. As most jazz fans know that is a promise seldom followed up on, or kept. The Logan Center far exceeded everyones expectations. Their Jazz subscription series is top notch and rivals Symphony Centers. Many of the same major musicians appear at both locations. Not only do they present major performers, but after the performances the performers go to the lobby and meet the audience. At times they have a listening session with the name performer the day before the concert that is free and open to the public - another great chance to talk with the performer. Many other performances are free. It has seriously promoted jazz and has now added the blues to their offerings. My thanks to the University and the Logan Center staff for their efforts. .
The University of Chicago arts center school for acting, fashion, theater, film and other creative endeavors. Many events open to the public.
The Logan Center is the new centralized arts hub on the University of Chicago campus in Hyde Park. It is place where students, teachers, visiting artists, campus wanderers, and community movers-and-shakers come together to produce. Logan is a breeding ground of art-in-process that not only provides a space to practice, but, in U of C fashion, hums with conversation about artistic inquiry. Plus, most of the events are free and open to the public!
