Only suitable for taking some skyline photos and hanging out. The remarkable Pier gives a breathtaking view of the Michigan Lake as well as the famous Lake Shore Drive. Watching the sunrise moment from the pier is an exceptional experience.Otherwise, it is overpriced, overcrowding, and under construction. A wide range of food choices, though, it was much better to be the real Chicagoan by going elsewhere, which offers the iconic dishes with better quality and lower price.
Lovely building and a museum. Closest to the boat tours boarding point off the pier. Restrooms are available as well. Food options are aplenty.
Spectacular place to visit. Unfortunately we came in January when it was freezing! But enjoyed it anyway.
Be ready to walk! The layout is thoughtfully situated. Restrooms located in very logical places, like near the elevator banks. Take your parking ticket with you if you use the garage. Plenty of parking space.
One of the best views in all of Chicago. This is my favorite place in Chicago. I got the opportunity to go into the grand ballroom at the end of the pier surrounded on three sides by lake Michigan. It makes you feel like you have the city to yourself. Also we enjoyed the Chinese New year celebration in the ballroom. Definitely, check out their website for fun, family, activities.
An awesome place to visit - any time of year (depending on your constitution). There are the historically signicant facilities, amenities, sights and walks to enjoy/take in. Even the long-term vessels parked/anchored demonstrate olde and current character of the Pier.Community, private and grand functions make excellent use of this lakeside site. Joy rides run almost regardless of the weather conditions. Riding ferris wheel and merry-go-round with snow all around just added a new perspective to the rides. The tropical gardens were such an awesome experience, and pleasure to see. Only happy, outgoing visitors and team workers seen about on out day visit.
I remember a while back in my younger days, Navy Pier was an abandoned dilapidated place. Wow has it been transformed and continues to do so. Its definitely chopped full of things to do with the family, a date or even solo. The tab can get kind of high depending on your choices but again it can be worth it. From the giant faris wheel to the imax theater maybe a convention or just a good meal at one of the many restaurants it can add up to a good day and into the evening.
On this day we went out on the Spirit of Chicago for lunch cruise and it was great
We love visiting the peer, we usually uber down to save the parking $35 and get food and drinks. The Farris wheel is really nice and going out on the boats is a great time. Bring a jacket tho because the breeze might be cold.
Fun, historical, and a great place to spend a few hours soaking up history
Was remodeled a couple of years ago and it was for the best. Very nice and neat. Parking can be a drag as it is now pretty expensive but it is worth it if you take your time walking around sight seeing. Ferris Wheel was also taller than it used to be.
Dont miss eating Chicago style deep dish pizza at Giordano
Long walks Very Nice Good exercise walking Managers of kitchen Needs a Scooter to get around building
Great place to enioy the lakefront, spectacular views, loads of activities for all ages, great place to explore, several top Chicago style food venues to try
Slid over here during a recent trip to Chicago. Did not go inside, but the scenery outside was very picturesque. Navy Pier Terminal Building is a 3-story building with towers in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A.. Well worth the trip down there to enjoy your day while at Navy Pier.
The halls are large enough and meeting spaces for various uses from the west to the furthest east point at the large ballroom. Adjacent to very nice Restaurants from end to end including public parking spaces. Various large elegant boats for evening dinners afloat to enjoy and sightseeing open air .
Great place to have some fun. Plenty places to eat and drink. You can even take a boat cruise .you can buy a sandwich and watch the beutiful scenery.
Navy Pier is a great tourist attraction. Navy Pier is great for families. Beautiful restaurants. Navy Pier is just marvelous.
This place is very great! Its a bit hard to navigate through but other than that its amazing!
Much has changed since the last time I visited. Far more things to do, plenty of restaurants options and an amazing ambiance. Cannot wait to return with my family.
Now under construction of new hotel and in transition. Still a lot better than few years ago.
Parking was a little confusing. And they were doing construction which makes it tough to remember where the car is. Took a ride on the odyssey. Its about a 8/10
Amazing place for exhibitions and entertainment purpose. The halls are big and the outside area is a beautiful scenery of lake and the skyline . I went for the Xmas celebrations there it was very beautiful with so many rides and games.
Great place to throw a party
Lots to do and see, but beware there is some construction.
What an amazing experience. The workers were so helpful and this place is huuuuge!! It was wonderful watching my daughter up on the big stage and on all the screens. Good memories
Good place to take the family and love the fire works at night and boat ride
We were there for a gymnastics meet, and the seating setup was horrible. You couldnt see the event your kid was on, unless you stood, and followed them around. After that you had to go to a tiny room, that didnt fit everyone, for the awards. Which again, you couldnt see. I understand this was the events ideas, and not the venues, that is why I gave it a 3.
We were very frustrated that we had to pay $30 a person just to take pictures inside the Winterfest; we are a fifty-year-old couple; we are not going to ride on the rides, we just wanted to take pictures. We wish there could have been some sort of concession where we could have gotten in for a reduced price just to walk around. That being said all the decorations of the Winterfest were absolutely outstanding. It was so beautiful we just loved walking around and looking at everything. We got some fantastic pictures.
Great place. Very lovely
Worth a walkthrough if youre in the area. The Ferris wheel was nice but the 6-8 people working it were more interested in chatting or their phones it made me wonder just how much cheaper it could be given the time of year it was.
Navy Pier has improved exponentially from years ago. It still hosts familiar events mostly fit for families and families of tourists. Its a pain to get to for most residents, but seriously I cant stress how much the Pier is improving. The restaurants, attractions, and scenery have all improved so much. Its worth checking out and within a few years the Navy Pier Flyover will be complete!
Great time with the kids visiting the Jurassic quest
A little tourist heavy but nice when it’s empty
The winter wonder fest was awesome. We took our 12 year old and her bff and they had a blast. There was stuff for kids of all ages so we all had fun, especially on the ice skating rink. Also, including the free ferris wheel ride was genius. The only complaint I have, and the reason for the 4 out of 5 stars, is because we had such a long, difficult and congested, walk from the parking garage to the terminal. It was bad enough going in, but it felt like a mass exodus trying to get out of there.
I loved it there it was so pretty.️
I real cool place, and spectacular views!
Beautiful building. Busy. Right on the water overlooking the lake... its quite a view. Lots of choices in knick-knack shopping and food. Lots of benches and lounges to sit and admire the water.
Winter wonder fest for a school trip. Kids really enjoyed themselves
Really nice
First time coming here. Never knew this whole section was part of Navy Pier. I had a great experience with my family at the Winter Wonderfest.
Neat place to check out
Cool for the kids needs more baby or toddler rides and activities
Nice as always, but I didnt like having to walk through the parking lot to get to Winter Wonderfest.
Great place to work and visit.
A little pricey but fun
I sailed on the cruise of Chicago and had a lovely experience

Great location, excellent for school field trips and staff was professional and helpful.
Public transportation is the way to go in Chicago. Clean and safe
Great place to take family
This place is must visit if you visit chicago, it is huge, waterfront and happening place
The improvements have improved a great place even better..
It was beautiful in the Navy Pier area. Had a great time at the Halloween booze cruise on the mystic blue! Long walk though from parking garage!
Parking is confusing first I got refused then they looked at my bed we haircut they said okay... Just confusing.
Fun time for an afternoon when in chicago.
I love this place for a nice family outing.
Always a great time, wish parking was cheaper.
Awesome place to be. Get here.
Nice room for a social event. Food was excellent.
Great for family or just to hang around with your significant other
Went here for the Winter Wonderfest. The Wonderfest is great for children.
I went there for the winter wonder fest and it was amazing. It had Ice skating food booths and etc.
It was undergoing construction and difficult to navigate. However, I thought it was a very nice place. Great views of the city and a lot of things to see and do.
Didnt see as much as I wouldve like.....but it was fun
28$ to park. 28 $ for adults in winter wonderland. A few rides bouncy houses and slide throw in 4 $ churros and lemonade that is mostly water sugar. It used to be free to enter but ghetto teens started a riot a few years back and screwed that up. Plenty of security and police on site. TAke a walk by the Bean its a better value.
Pretty crowded, lots of junk food at high tourist prices. The upside is the view of the skyline.
We went there and the kids loved it so much
Loved it! Just beautiful!
