I have been working with Marty for about 18 months now.  I can say two things with certainty: (1) he has helped me understand the golf swing in a much deeper way such that I can quickly address swing issues on the course and in practice, (2) he has pushed me to improve my fitness, which has not only benefited my golf game but my health overall.  On net, my ball striking is much more consistent and I am generating more power with less effort.  Plus Marty is a great guy who is always willing to make time to help.

Don’t usually write reviews, but Marty is truly a world class instructor. His understanding of the golf swing is second to none, and does a great job explaining what you’re doing/ not doing. Highly recommend

My only hesitation to giving Marty an excellent review is that I will be giving away all of my secrets...Marty is a GREAT teacher. I’ve been around the game for 50 years and can tell you that Marty knows it really well. I can also say he is impossibly patient. If you can spend the money and want to play better, you should sign up today.

I am a 26 year old former high school golfer whos game fell off between college and starting a life after college. I thought that my game would magically come back after going from playing every day to once or twice every other month. I thought more rounds and time practicing would be the answer. I went from shooting 75-80 to barely keeping it under 90. I was consistently inconsistent and did not know what to do.I began lessons with Marty at Catalyst Golf Performance in the off-season after I saw that Catalyst had a swing evaluation promotion. I honestly was just going to take anything Marty gave me in the evaluation and never come back, taking advantage of the promotion. The evaluation was entirely different from what I thought. Marty was so helpful, kind, and supportive in the promotional swing evaluation, I knew that I wanted to continue lessons. The problem was that I was no where near as competitive or serious as some of Catalysts other clients. Marty quickly eased my mind by conducting a great interview that let me lay out what I wanted from Catalyst, and with that Marty laid out how Catalyst could help me get to where I wanted to be. Marty and Catalyst created a great custom game-plan for me that fit my schedule, budget, and game play. They utilize latest coaching technology, apps and have great communication outside of lessons. The program Marty set up with me allowed me to work on my game outside of lessons which really helped me get the most out of my lessons. My game currently has improved significantly, and I do not plan on picking up any bar tabs with my buddies after 18 anytime soon.The last thing Ill say about Catalyst is that when you join, you become a member of their community. Marty post weekly messages to help improve all of our games, and you are able to play with other members of Catalyst in Catalyst offered fall and winter leagues. From PGA and LPGA players to the weekend golfers like me, Catalyst is ready to create a coaching program for anyone.
