What a great little place! Music, Art and a very friendly crowd. A bit cozy but the space suits the use. I look forward to returning as frequently as my schedule permits.

I love this place! Im showing my artwork and writing here currently, and Ive been so impressed with the owners. They take great care of my work, the audience and me. Its very professional and organized but with an awesome creative vibe that is so meaningful and, really, rare. The shows at Slate Arts explore and encourage new modes of making, and youre bound to see something really worthwhile, whether its music, theater, storytelling or art.

An artist-owned gallery and performance space, with a focus on experimental art and music. Always wonderful performers and amazing crowds. All shows are free to the public! Any donations go directly to performers and artists.

ARTISTS, DON’T EXHIBIT YOUR PAINTINGS THERE!!They treat art there very badly. They returned paintings damaged and they don’t take any kind of responsibilities for that. Instead they will tell you that you are hard to work with and your very ungrateful and in the end of conversation you will feel that not just your paintings were treated badly, you were treated badly there too. This is the way they treat people there and this the way they treat art there. What a horrible experience . What a horrible place. STAY AWAY FROM THERE
