If you are a vinyl art lover and are visiting Chicago you gotta go here! Great staff and a sick collection. They also have a website if you need to order. But, I love brick and mortar spots like this where you can talk to other collectors.

A kawaii wonderland! Staff was friendly and the Tokidoki section was HUGE. Thats a good chunk of what they have. The other blind boxes and statues are cute too.

I originally started going to Rotofugi at their old location to check out the art exhibits. They were one of the only places I knew of in Chicago were I could see and buy outsider art. Their awesome and ever growing vinyl art collection kept me coming back.Eventually I took my young daughters there since they were always curious where did I find cool little blind boxes and other vinyl pieces to bring home.Now they are hooked and save all of their allowance for a twice yearly shopping spree at Rotofugi. Luckily I get to go more often.Owners and staff at Rotofugi have always been amazing and helpful. Their website is awesome.But you need to walk the store to get the full effect of clothing, plushies, graphics, original art, art prints, pens, erasers, Toki Doki, exclusives, etc. All very well curated and priced.A must stop when youre in Chicago!

Great staff. I arrived at 6:45pm and didnt get out until after 7pm (when they close), staff was very attentive, and informative about their products.

This place is so cool! I always come here for neat gifts, art to hang on my wall, or just to hang out and look at toys. They have so many pieces of art and collectables and I love it all. The workers there are super nice and they can help you find something youre looking for, or you can just talk to them about your interests. Rotofugi is always a good time, especially if youre waiting for a table at Batter and Berries.

This shop is amazing. Great service, nice staff. You can even open your blind boxes and change it to one of the toys being displayed already.

This place was really cool, the only thing was that a lot of there merchandise wasnt really my style. There products were mostly just blind boxes and animal based collectibles from artists like kid robot and stuff. It was cool but not exactly my style.

Very cool little store/museum. Lots of cool toys, t-shirts and gifts. Also has a gallery area. Everytime weve come, theyve had really cool art. Highly recommended stop.

I remember going to KidRobot in Manhattan so I thought this store would be similarly sized. However I was wrong and this place is quite tiny. As a result there isnt that much inventory unfortunately. Its still nice to take a look and see the toys and the labbits.

On a day trip to Chicago with my 10 year old daughter we decided to visit Rotofugi and turned out to be a good choice. From the staff exhibiting the toys to the Harry Potter layout it was time well spent and a great fun atmosphere.

I absolutely love this store. Cute and unique designer toys and collectibles and a small but enjoyable gallery. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Its always a fun stop.

Hands down one of my most favorite store in Chicago. The world of designer toys is fun and addicting once you discover it and this shop is the gateway for it in Chicago. The art gallery with shows is an extra bonus to check out when you visit.

A colorful and fun shop to visit, especially if youre looking for collectors toys! While the adorable giant plushies were what drew me into the store, I quickly found out that there was much more to appreciate inside. If youre looking for a cute Japanese keychain or a vinyl toy this is the place to go.

This little toy store was great to look around. They had stuffed animals/foods, figurines, art and more. Spent a good amount of time in here and got a couple little things. This downside is that some of the cooler things are expensive but I guess thats to be expected. Seems to attract a trendier crowd and even hosts locals artwork. Some of the things in this store I thought were hilarious so if anything youll be able to get a few laughs out visiting.

I am a 58 year old kid! I love looking in toy stores. Yesterday bought a Duncan Imperial YoYo! I can still walk the dog! Lovely toys and nice service.

This place is really cool. ive been coming here for a of couple years now and have been to many exhibits. i remember when i had the chance to actually meet luke chueh and being super hyped. i also had the chance to meet blink-182 one time and get some things signed which was super sick. ive always had good experiences here, the workers here are super chill and ive never encountered myself having a single problem here. overall, id recommend anyone to come and check this place out. i would also like to thank rotofugi for giving me the opportunity to meet some of my favorite artists as well as some really cool ones too.

Such a unique toy store. The design of the store was such that there was plenty of space and it was really a great atmosphere for my kids who are easily overwhelmed. They have toys that regular toy stores dont carry. We were able to find a cool gift for a little girl who has lots of toys already.

One of my favorite places in the city to visit. Wish i could buy half the store.

Lots of collectible toys and blind-boxes. There is always original art too that you can buy. The price of the toys are comparable to online retailers.

Rotofugi is the premier online shop for vinyl figures. Their brick and mortar location is certainly impressive, with towering 6 foot tall figures, but unfortunately has a very limited selection. For more options, definitely check out their website.

Great selection of toys but the employees were very standoff-ish and not helpful at all. Purposefully didnt purchase an item I wanted because of it. Try a stricter hiring process.

In every city I go to I like to go to the toy store. This one is by far the best I’ve seen. They also have a great policy of being able to open your toy in store and if you don’t like it you may trade it for the one that is on the shelf. I thought that was pretty cool :) they also have the widest range of collectibles I’ve seen

Rotofugi is honestly one of my favourite places in Chicago. If you like toys, anime, cartoons, or anything of the sort you absolutely should check out this carefully curated store. It also acts as an art gallery so besides looking at their selection of products, checking out their art takes up a good amount of time. This place is awesome - Im not a huge toy guy, but could say there is something for nearly everyone here. Some fun toys, collectibles, enamel pins, an art gallery, stuff for the home, silly stuff, etc. I think this is an awesome place to buy a gift for someone and make it feel personal.The staff was very awesome and we spoke for a long time about art and other fun topics of interest. Highly recommend stopping by in the area if anything for its eclectic nature. Also cool that you can rent the space out for events.

This place is amazing. I recommend Rotofugi for older fans of cartoons and anime influenced art, but they have something for everyone. They have a diverse and quality selection of trinkets and figures, as well as an open gallery. Great place for collectors and getting gifts. The staff was helpful and kind.

This is, hand down, Chicagos coolest collectibles shop. They have stock from a wide variety of graphic, urban, digital and graffiti artists, some of whom they show in their gallery and event space.

I visited Chicago a few months back and had a fantastic time here. I was able to purchase several exclusive Tokidoki items. The staff was super friendly. :)

I followed Rotofugi for a while on social media but just recently had the chance to visit their store and was not let down. They have a great selection and could not leave without buying a thing or two even though I wanted to buy more! 10/10 would definitely visit again!

One word: Pusheen.They have Pusheen. Birthday Pusheen, Pizza Pusheen, Unicorn Pusheen, NARWHAL PUSHEEN.... Pip (Pusheens little brother) and a whooooooole lot of other non-pusheen stuff that reminded me a lot of when I was in Tokyo but I digress. This is the place you need to go to for all things Pusheen.

Always loved this shop as a kid and going back now is no different though they seemed to have a bit more of a focus on pop culture figures they still had some wonderful pieces of art!

Hands down my favorite stop in Chicago. They have such cute and unique toys and gifts especially for those who are interested in Anime. I felt there prices were really good too. I was so excited to give my daughter everything I picked up for her there, and no surprise she loved everything.

Been coming here for about a year now, just committed to getting my comics here weekly. The staff are really helpful and nice to talk to about anything! Good variety of stuff, new and old, highly recommend for comics and games.

I was visiting the area and saw the pictures of this place online. Its really cute the only bad thing is theres really nowhere to park and you have to find a spot pretty far away because its a busy area but thats not their fault. I bought some stuff from Studio Ghibli and We Bare Bears. Its half a store for Art/anime/cartoon plushies and keychains and the other half is for Tokidoki
