Beautiful outside court. The play place for the child is small and was boring to my 4 year old....I ended up just pushing him for a few hours on the swing. Maybe invest in some monkey bars?

They have something for everyone. I enjoy taking my son Kingston here and the coach has always been a pleasure. They other families are amazing and I don’t have one complaint.

I went to Charlotte for a conference. I decided to got off the bus when I saw this nice park and rev center. As a Chinese passing by, I was welcomed to enter this rev center and played basketball the whole afternoon. The staff here was so nice. I love African American people!

Great place for walking dog. Never crowded in the a.m. people were playing tennis and families were at the playground. Rec center is still closed.

If you are looking for things to do with your toddler this is a good place to go especially if your budget is tight. Most of if not all of the events are free and they typically have several things going on through out the week to keep your toddler busy. They offer things such as dance, story time, drama, site words, etc.

Very nice park. We went for the tennis courts where we conducted a photshoot. The park doesnt seem to be in the best part of town but theres security on site and that made use feel better.

This place means everything to me because I grew up here! I love the renovations they have done and the people that work there! Its a great place for the community kids and adults to come and be physically active and increase their Health and Wellness!!

I loved it I can play basketball and be safe doing it because there are security guards and i love the set up its very nice

Clean, well lit, and very accessible. Great location for small team or family sports. I love that theres three different ways to enter the football field. Unfortunately, Parking is Very limited.

My kid s really had a good time.I meet some younger kids there with they siblings.My aunt said the bathroom room was clean.She thought it was going to look bad but it was so clean.LOL .thanks for a wonderful time.

Very nice looking Park but just be careful theres a strange man that stays up in the woods there that likes to come out from nowheres and just kept following me in my family around talking to his self delusional asking everyone he could see if they could spare some change

This park is where I grew up at. It is a very friendly environment and not as bad as the people may say. If you want your kid to have somewhere to play baseball, basketball, and or tennis, you should come on down. Its free and fun.

Family fun

I took my /randson and great granddaugh ter to play on the newly installed equipment. They especially enjoyed the jungle gym and swings. They ran and slid and swung and enjoyed the company of other children. We will return.

Rec center is an older building, but it is clean and has great programs for the community. Staff is friendly.

We have played rugby games with teams from other states at this park. Unfortunately it is not very well maintained because it is in a lower income area. It is unlikely one would feel very safe here either as sketchy and inconsiderate people are constantly walking back and fourth across the fields. What really killed it for me was the last time we played here: some of the locals from the neighborhood decided to film a very distracting rap music video (20 guys in puffy hooded jersey jackets dancing ghetto-show-tunes style) as we were playing a tournament that we reserved the field for. It was confusing and funny but, LOL omg.. Really?

This center would be ok but it has the same exact problems that it did when I was a child and my parents tried to bring me here 25 years ago. The playground is too small and way too close to the road. It sits on top of a small hill so if your child has a ball and it rolls down hill it goes right into a major road! The playground setup here needs a serious overhaul (and a fence!).If you are wanting a playground for your kids 12 and under go elsewhere. Try the Robert Smith park instead that is not too far from here. If you are 14 and up, just looking to play basketball, this might be the place for you. We wont be back.
